Zero stars. I try to avoid this road food pit stop. Same lousy service and staff as several months ago. These people seem clueless to customer service. I was in a hurry on 02/09/16.The English as a second language staff has trouble taking menu orders. The french fries were cold and rubbery. The burger bun was stale and hard. Piss pour experience, period.

Why can’t I give negative stars? This is a bad place to go to. I just spent 5 dollars on a chocolate shake that is half vanilla? Then the girl shuts the window. I will never go to another jack in the box in my life. I really hope the chain goes out of business. Constantly ruining people days

Bad costumer service. The lady just threw the food on us. Didn’t ask for sauce or anything and switched the burgers. With fries we got no sauce and when we asked for hot sauce she said they dont have any. Later she just threw 2 buffalo sauces in it. I would never go back to this location ever again. Stupid employees and there dirty attitude

The menu says «add bacon for 50 cents» I ordered value menu tacos + bacon, they refuse to make it & told me I need to get a monster taco! which has cheese & I’ll end up taking it out anyways. WORST SERVICE EVER.

This Jack In The Box is located inside the Lion Plaza Shopping Center here in Newark, CA. I think this is the only Jack In The Box in Newark.
This Jack In The Box doesn’t have any redeeming qualities to it. It’s a smaller Jack In The Box, that shares a space with New Tung Kee Noodle House. There is plenty of parking here at this location.
This location gets a lot of drive thrue business, for some reason. People are to lazy to get out of their cars so they take advantage of the drive thru. There is always a long line in the drive thru.
The customer service at this location is nothing special, a young black guy works here along with an Indian lady. I would say well Indian lady gives off a little what are you doing here vibe sometimes…
I would think it is quicker if you go in and order rather than wait in the drive thru too…

I’ve stopped here 3 times now and each time I’ve ordered a Dr Pepper. Each time my Dr Pepper has tasted like there is some kind of cleaner in it. How do they do this every time?! I won’t be stopping here anymore

Sent my husband for shakes and munchies at 12am. He came back with shakes and bacon cheddar wedges. minus the bacon and cheddar (see previously posted picture). Guy at window (Angeles) gave grief about giving out sour cream. Really bummed JitB as you are our late night munchies #1 pick.

This is one of of the good car service jack in the box branches if your going to Oakland or San Francisco this might be one of your good stops because it is so close to the high way.
I tried it once for dine in and it was a good experience they are fast in serving, I noticed in some reviews some negatives about their staff but looked nice to me. They asked me to confirm my order, one time they gave me a wrong order at the drive through, but nothing beyond this.
I’d love to support this branch with 4 stars.

I love jack in the box– but not this one!
They gave me a supposedly new cup that had dried sticky stuff on the rim. It could be some spilled soda but the fact that I was reading about bacteria while I was there did not help at all.
The wait was terribly longer that it should have. Even though I came in at 11:15, there was no one else in the dining area. So what gives?
Also, since I was the only customer they were attending to, why did they give me regular fries instead of curly fries? That meant I had to wait another 7 minutes to have fresh ones.
Then finally a guy with a cup of Jack In the Box coffee who seemed to be in such a hurry came in. He mentions to the staff that the coffee he got was cold but because he was in a rush, he’ll forgive them. He agreed to just have his coffee microwaved. Ugh.
Well at least the staff were apologetic.

Most of the employees are rude and slow, but the food stays consistently good. I come here after a long day at work and besides the rude service the food always hits the spot. You guys should higher more friendly people. It’s not my fault you chose to work where you do

This is definitely the worst Jack In the Box I have ever been to in my life. They always seem to get my order wrong regardless if it’s a busy or slow day. Only reason why I came here is because it’s the closest one to my work & home. But never again…

I don’t do fast food anymore but once in a while i do get the craving and this location has a speedy drive-​thru. Every time I go there they have the same indian lady on the window and she is all about business! No how are you’s or have a great day! lol No biggie with me… I don’t like chatty clerks anyways. I have been inside the restaurant as well and they keep it pretty clean, bathrooms could be better with a bit less air freshner but I guess it’s better to have an overpowering lavender smell than an overpowering smell of something else… if you know what i mean. ;)

I live around the corner so i go here A LOT. The workers are really nice, you can tell they really try, but for some reason they just cant seem to get my whole order correct. Either they give me the wrong drink or fries or something else small, its always something wrong. Their usually pretty fast on making the food, at night time though a lot of people crowd up in the drive thru and its at least a 10−15min wait to even get to the window. The service here is really good though which is why i keep coming back.

Been to this location twice in a month or so and both times, the food has been ri-goddamn-diculous.Most recent being my Mom and I going here for breakfast at 9 in the morning. I ordered some breakfast and some lunch items thinking they would be fresh. What I got was fresh breakfast and yesterdays curly fries and a burger that was cold [really!?] and peppered to the extreme that it was all that I could taste. Onto the banned list. Will find a new JITB from now on.

I have been on a recent Jack binge, more coincidence than anything else. This one is in a Chinese dominated strip mall. The guy at the drive through was really nice and had a big smile. The little things like that do make a big difference! Did not mind the longer than expected wait because of that.

I’ve been to this Jack in the Box countless times. I’ve always found Jack in the Box to be a little pricey for fast food, though the food is pretty good.
The time it takes for them to serve your order can sometimes take a while. There have been many times where all I’ve ordered was a single item such as medium fries– yet the time it took for me to receive my order frequently reached 10 minutes, and on some occasions more. Still pretty fast, but in comparison to other Jack in the Box restaurants, not so speedy. Especially when the place is empty and you’re their only customer.
Though I really don’t mind too much. I’m not complaining. The staff is friendly, and they work hard to keep the place clean.
