I would have never known that baked potatoes can taste so dayum good till I met Charlie’s Corn & Son! I first seen them at the Newark Farmers Market and couldn’t dare pass them up once I seen the«smothered» baked potato! What do I mean by smothered? Okay…let me explain… The baked potato is $ 6 and they top it with: Butter, Salt, Sour Cream, Jalapenos, Bacon, Cheese and Chives. Can I just admit that they are NOT stingy with their servings! Everything was SO good. Fresh and warm… The skin was nice and crispy! OMG, I’m drooling just thinking about it right now! When I first got my order I was in shock! I couldn’t see the potato because they had smothered all the good toppings on it! What a steal deal for $ 6. If they had a store I would definitely be their #1 fan! I can’t wait for the weekends to be able to make another trip and visit the food stand! I still want to try their Corn on the Cob! It looked DE-Lish! This is a MUST when in the Newark Farmers Market! **P.S– I also hear that they are located at the San Leandro Farmers Marker** When you see their sign. Make sure you stop and try… then thank me later!
