There are several rooms for weddings here! Each room can cater to as many guest as you can dream of for weddings or any celebration!
Came here several times for their lunch buffet. This was my first Pakistani food experience and I LOVED it. I usually don’t like curry, I am very particular about it. No alerting taste buds, just happy taste buds!
Favorite has to be the masala chicken — put it over the rice or with the naan.
Fried fish — so good
Spinach — tasty over rice
Okra — one of my favorite vegetable in a new dish! so good!
Mango ice cream — so fruity!

This restraunt is primarily a party/​hall style restraunt so it makes sense that they would have a good buffet. I went during one of the weekends and got some goat biryani, chana masala, and tandoori chicken. Their desserts are really good and my favorite is the Kheer. I like all types of indian food, I particularly like the North India and Pakistani style is the best.
The buffet has tasty masala tea that is self serve. I went with my friends and they guided me through all the choice in the buffet.

They have a good dinner buffet on the weekends! There’s plenty of items to choose from and the food always tastes good whenever we come through. Just don’t try to come on weekdays cause the food selection isn’t so big but overall it’s one of the best Pakistani food places to eat at in the bay!

I will give them five stars. My sister did her wedding there and the maneger helped her with the price to fit her budget. The decoration was fancy and nice and the food was soo good too. I liked their rice, chicken and meat. It was little bit spicy so You just tell them to not make it spicy before you order the food .
I am thinking to do my wedding there after few months. But i didn’t really decide yet
And i will add another review later if i had my wedding there.

We ordered our wedding food from this restaurant, we asked them to make it less spicy but it came very hot. After 3 years of time I decided to give an other try at Chandni, but very disappointed again. Quality of food was way below my expectation and again very spicy food.

This review is for the lunch buffet.
I went there with my wife who is Pakistani and kids. The food was so spicy to the level that you can’t eat it. My wife who eats very spicy food was not able to eat herself. The kids can’t eat any of the food as well except the salad and bread. what a waste of money!
We did talk to someone there regarding the too much spicy food and we were told that everyone is OK with the food. why not you!!! instead of addressing our issue, he went on challenging us that the food is good.
We will never go there again — There are plenty of other great places in San Jose for Pakistani food that is eatable.

I had my son’s first bday party conducted in their party hall, it was amazing. The food is exquisite all my friends called up n were raving about the goat biriyani.
Hats off to Sameera and her team for making the ceremony very beautiful (the waiting staff was very helpful)

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would! I came here to discuss possibly having my wedding here. When we walked in they were setting up for a wedding. It looked really pretty, except for that the carpet is burgundy and gold so it clashed with the color/​theme for the reception that they were setting up for.
Anyways, we walked in and then asked if we could talk with someone about having my wedding here and a young woman went to get the events manager Sahir. He have us some information about the venue and then asked us to go to his office. We all walked back there and he answered our questions but was SO RUDE! He has some of the WORST customer service EVER! His attitude and negativity is what made me decide not to have my wedding or any future event here EVERRRR! He really needs to be fired because I’m sure he will continue to cause this venue to lose business.
I’ve had my Unilocal account for a very long time and I’ve never wrote a review until now. That just shows you how rude Sahir was. I just can’t believe how an events manager can be so rude when he should be accommodating and friendly because that’s his JOB REQUIREMENT. I’ve seen other reviews complaining about him on here too so I know he wasn’t just having a bad day when we were there.
Avoid this place!

I came here on a Saturday night with a friend for their buffet. Food was not all that great (not horrible, either), the selection was so small that it is not even worth the price. For the same price, I will just go to Bombay up the street, their selection is 4 times bigger and the food is much better. I don’t like writing bad reviews, but this was just disappointing.
My review is only on the buffet, I have never been here for a party and maybe the food is better when its catered.

Great place to host a party. Lots of room for lager number of guest… great dj setup options. You can. Put 2 large screens on opposite sides of the hall and it looks great… food is also not bad… They have stage for weddings.

I have been going to Chandni for years now. Weddings, socials, family gatherings, parties, you name it, Chandni is on top of it all. Their décor is just breathe taking, and Samira does an absolutely amazing job with it all. The food is incredibly delicious, from so many options to choose from; briyani, tandoori chicken are my favorite, and of course the keer (rice pudding– aamazing). They work with your budget and try to do their best at accommodating all of your needs into a package that works with you.
I work with a non-​profit organization (The Pakistan Association of San Francisco Bay Area), and we do numerous events at Chandni. Every time we need a room for a meeting or a hall for an event, Chandni hooks it up like no other. To sum it up, Chandni is a one-​stop-​shop. What more does anyone need.

Chandni is your place to host all events!
For the past many years I have attended numerous events and luncheons at Chandni and always appreciated the food, service, décor and the convenient location. It’s literally right off the freeway. They have a vast variety on their menu but I personally like their Tandoori Chicken and Goat Korma. They have halls of all different sizes, perfect for weddings, birthdays, seminars, socials, etc…
I recently got the opportunity to work with Chandni for a few events (including this past weekend) and I have to say they are AMAZING!
I give them 5 stars because I am all about quality customer service and they know what that means. I have to admit that I was one of those clients who kept coming back with questions and the team always addressed them; which took off so much of my stress. They make you feel special and work with you to make your event the best. The management team was extremely nice and accommodating to our needs. They gave us many ideas and suggestions on what to and not to include at our event. More so, they worked with us to stay within our budget and still made our party look fabulous. The décor was just beautiful!!! We walked in and felt WOW!
I’ve done events at many other locations and no one has been as accommodating, professional and efficient as Chandni.
We’ve already booked another party this year with Chandni and am excited to see what they’ll prepare for us. At this point, I trust them completely and know that whatever they setup for us will be above our expectations.

I’ve worked with them to host several events, and the management team is so friendly and accommodating to work with. They have also outdone themselves with amazing décor!

All the goat meat had big bones in it. All the food taste like shit!!! Never coming to this place nukes someone else is paying.

I have never been at this place for anything other than a reception for a Punjabi style wedding, or a Punjabi style kid’s birthday.
GOOD: NOTHING.
DECENT: VENUE. It isn’t horrible, although having two halls and one restaurant area is pretty ghetto.
BAD: EVERYTHING ELSE. The bathrooms are generally gross, the staff is average at best, and worst of all, the FOOD SUCKS. Just awful. And this is practically unanimous amongst many people I know.
BEST: Due to Punjabi/​Sikh spirit, the parties are usually AWESOME! But that’s because Chandni’s general and all-​around crappiness doesn’t ruin it too much.
From a food standpoint, I would NEVER eat here. Their food is awful. Not even 1 star worthy.
