We’ve had Egg Biryani from this place a couple of weeks ago and the eggs were rotten. Horrible of this restaurant to not maintain minimum quality standards and put the health of their customers at risk. I would never go here again.

As a frequent coast-to-coast traveler, I’ve tried many Biryani places on both coasts. This is one of the best places I’ve eaten at in a while. Closest competitors would perhaps be in the UK. P. S. Spice level is rather fiery :-) I tried the Shrimp Biryani and Andhra fried fish. Awesome!!!

This place is a must go for Food Lovers. I heard quite a lot about Biryani Pot’s Hyderabadi Biryani and was amazed to find that its not just their Biryani but also Lamb Chops and Chicken 65. I actually liked Lamb Chops more than the Goat Biryani and Chicken Biryani combined, it was fantastic!(Yes, with an exclamation mark) and had good spice level. The meat in Goat Biryani was well done. It tasted very close to one of the best restaurants in Hyderabad. Speaking of the interiors, I personally didn’t find the seating very comfortable but my friends differed my opinion. There are some areas which can be improved like the table top decorations and other stuff that makes interior beautiful and offers mesmerizing experience. The staff was warm and polite. I Strongly recommend food lovers to try their Lamb chops and Goat Biryani. I’d be happy to rate Biryani Pot 4 out of 5.

Best Biriyani place in Fremont. No doubt about that. Their menu is impressive. Have already tried a few other items so far, all are really tasty. Tandoori chicken in sizzling style is one of the recommended one. Dine-in or Take out, their services are top notch as well.

Ordered takeout from here on a Saturday night at 7pm. Was a bit concerned reading all the Unilocal reviews about wait time, but food was ready in 15 min. Got the peppercorn appetizer which was nicely flavored and seasoned well with curry leaves. I wasn’t a big fan of the price though at $ 7.99. Also got the vegetable Kadai curry which was really good and had an assorted variety of vegetables. Parking is a bit hard to find in the strip mall. I’ll definitely order from here again.

Biryani tasted way better than any other restaurant in bay area. I never feel any restaurant’s biryani even close to the one back home, I felt it today. Great service too. We ordered veggie Manchurian, chicken tanduri, biryani and chicken curries. Manchurian was relatively spicy even at medium spice order but tasted delicious. Tandoori was sizzling hot and is a must try for chicken lovers.

Great food, and great service. You’d want to come here at least once. Veg biryani was good, not too spicy. Corn appetizer and gobi Manchurian is a must try. Deserts are must miss.

I visited this place on Tuesday with my friends. I asked to suggest any appetizer in vegetarian, they suggested me Crispy masala papper corn. They said that my order will be coming in 15 minutes, he brought me my food in 10 minutes. By looking at that was completely mouth watering. Chicken biryani; I just feel like I’m having hyderabadi biryani. I never had such a tastey biryani in bay area till now. I ordered desert double kha metha and that is also an amazing desert. The service was excellent. But last, I Strongly recommend to try this place. All the best to biryani pot team.

Definitely not a place to go to during weekends. Complete disarray. Seems like there was no management. The staff looked like school/college students in training. Ordered the lamb biryani, chicken fried rice and chilli chicken. The biryani wasn’t as flavorful as I would have liked but it was not bad. Needed the yogurt and the curry side dish to enhance the flavors. The chili chicken was good but had some semi cooked pieces. The chicken fried rice was the best of the lot, but you need to be a really bad cook to mess that up! The worst part wasn’t the food. It was the service. The food took more than an hour to come. Even the simplest of dishes that take 5 mins weren’t coming. The entire restaurant was waiting, as if the cook had just walked in and had started everything from scratch. I am not coming back again– definitely not for a sit down dinner. Maybe try the to go next time

Should start with their Biryani, after long time had good Biryani tasted much like Four Seasons in Hyderabad. Appetizers soo good Eag bonda is super. They had very limited menu for Desserts. GulabJamun was mouth watering. Will be my fav restaurant from now.

3 stars for the disappointing take out order! We had called one hour ahead to place our order. But when we went to pick it up an hour later, our order wasn’t ready and we had to wait for another 45 minutes. That was really ridiculous considering we had to wait for almost 2 hours to get our food. The food tastes great. I would recommend the chicken dum biriyani and chilli chicken. Hope they can take care of the to-go orders in the future.

I used to go to Spice Kitchen in this location for the South Indian Food quite often. They have been replaced recently by Biryani Pot. I was told that this is a chain originally from Texas and this is their 10th location in the US and they are looking to grow more in the Bay Area. I can see them doing pretty well. Based on their name, their Biryani must be really good and I will try it the next time. This time, I got the pepper corn manchurian, naan, roti, paneer tikka masala and the murgh malai kebab. The manchurian was way too oily and the rest of the food was pretty good. They also have South Indian items though they are not on the menu yet like Dosa. I will try other items on the menu the next time and revise the review based on that.
