Out of many tax attorneys in my area of New York City, I chose Kent Rackett to represent me in an IRS audit in large part from reading the positive feedback he had received from previous clients, all of which turned out to be very accurate assessments of his legal skills. I had been audited several times over the years during the time when IRS audits were conducted in person, and a taxpayer took his receipts to and IRS office. All of those audits I won. The new-​style «mail audit» of my 2013 return, however, was very different and much more complicated. The IRS had rejected all of my 2013 deductions, even those I had been allowed in all previous audits. I was facing having to pay a very large tax bill until Kent took over. I am happy to say that because of his intervention, the IRS accepted my return as filed, and I was not required to pay any additional taxes. I can highly recommend Kent Rackett. Not only is he a nice person to deal with, he is very attentive to detail. I have no doubt I would not have been able to navigate my audit and prevail in my appeal without him.
