I tried this place for the first time just recently after moving out of range from my old beloved laundry place. I’ve used multiple drop-off laundry services before and am very familiar with how it works. When I dropped my laundry off, they seemed friendly enough. $ 1/pound is pretty standard in this neighborhood. What I didn’t realize, and they didn’t explain, is that they charge extra to sort your clothes! I went to pick up my laundry, and I got charged $ 2.20 to sort lights and darks. Excuse me, but sorting cold vs. warm water items is supposed to be part of the deal when doing drop-off laundry! The woman then proceeded to argue with me about how«other laundromats lie» about sorting! Well the fact that all of my white sheets have stayed white and all of my dark sheets have stayed dark would prove that theory wrong. Not being upfront about their true costs, and also that they charge for this silly light/dark sorting service, is enough for me to go elsewhere from now on.

G’s prices are very reasonable and he’s a great guy. I remember my receipt about 1⁄3 the time, but they always seem to know exactly what rack my stuff’s on. I’ve had clothes accidentally shredded by other local laundromats but G and Mrs. Li take care in what they do. Don’t be deterred by this tiny no frills laundromat, it’s great.
