We visited on a Saturday night in February. When we called to make a reservation the woman said there wasn’t anything until 830p. However when we called back five minutes later and got a different woman there was a reservation open for 730p. There are two sides — one bar and one restaurant. We sat in the restaurant area. We ordered the tuna appetizer and it was delicious, the bread was also very good. We ordered two of the specials — seabass and short rib and unfortunately weren’t overly pleased with either. We did however order the chocolate mousse and it was outstanding. The waitstaff was extremely nice and I would come back here and sit in the bar area and order wings(they looked delicious).

Always very good to great. The service is consistently friendly. They’ve got a big menu and I usually try something other than my usual favorites(try the New Suffolk Clam Chowder). The bar area food is also excellent… its a great place to watch a big game but can get quite loud. Overall it’s a winner.

I’ve loved this place for nearly twenty years! The atmosphere is always conducive to having a good time and the service is ALWAYS top notch. My sole complaint is one that sadly keeps me from going there more often: their prices keep rising and rising and… Last Friday night I had two cocktails(with mid-shelf liquor) that cost $ 13.50 each($ 32 with tax and tip)! That is too steep for the North Fork; this is not the Upper East Side! Please tamp down those prices. Thank you.

Consistently delicious food. Excellent service. Fun atmosphere on the bar side. Haven’t eaten in the dining room area. Looks a little stuffy-pretty-but stuffy. Have never had anything but delicious food. I love that the bar menu has sandwiches and pizza and the main menu has so many different things. They take regular stuff like pork or salmon or steak and kick it up. Then there’s their specials menu. Lots to choose from and all really delicious. Just good always.

I’ve been here twice so far, but each time has been memorable and worthwhile. My family has had a summer home in the area, and this restaurant is a welcome addition. I admit, it’s location is sort of difficult to find(definitely off the beaten path, as others say) but worth the ride.

I have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant. The waitress was so rude!!! We waited over an hour for a table and it took another hour for our food to come out. When the waitress brought our food out she made a few mistakes. when we questioned her she responded«Haven’t you ever heard you shouldn’t mess with someone who takes care of your food» & some other sarcastic comment. We all looked at eachother as if did that seriously just happen? She didnt come back to our table after that… we all needed water and she was no where to be found. I called the manager over to explain everything and her response was… well she’s new. That does not make it better. She offered to get us dessert but we were so disgusted with this horrendous establishment with their rude staff that we couldn’t wait to leave. The manager then had the nerve to confront us in the parking lot bc we did not tip the waitress. How could she honestly expect us to tip the waitress for her outrageous comment/service. Please do yourself a favor and do not go to this place!!!

We stopped here to grab a quick bite before heading out to a rehearsal party. There restaurant has two parts: 1 bar area where you can eat casual and another section of the room is closed off so that the ambiance is quieter. We had a crab cake, salmon BLT sandwich and lobster mac & cheese. The Salmon BLT sandwich and lobster mac & cheese definitely hit the spot! Delicious and not dry at all! I’d definitely come here more just to try the other dishes on the menu!

Stopped here on the way home from Greenport. Very impressed. Staff is friendly, our waitress could not have been nicer, food was top notch, we had steaks And seafood. They accommodated a substitution we asked for. Even the bathrooms here are so clean you could eat off the floor. Highly recommend this place of your in the area.

I agree this is off the beaten path but so well worth it. Nice u shaped bar. Very busy. We were already in the area and before we hit greenport. The Unilocal reviews on this one do not lie! We had chicken stoggies and bar pizza with spinach and chicken. Highly suggest this pit stop

Off the beaten track but I’m glad I found it. Lots of fresh flavor. A bit pricey. My shrimp dish had no shrimp but they quickly fixed their error. Drinks watered down by ice with no vodka flavor in our bloody Mary. Even my wife couldn’t taste any alcohol and she usually complains there is too much. I’d go back but only for the food. Not the drinks. Nice atmosphere. Good service.

Lobster mac n’ cheese! The best I’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious. The dining room is nice though felt out of place in the much older crowd(must have been locals night as it was during the week). Will definitely need to check out the bar side next time. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking is kinda dismal, sadly(street only). So plan accordingly!

WE stopped by here for lunch while out on the North Fork. We probably should’ve just ordered a bunch of appetizers we would have enjoyed our meal much more that way. We ordered the calamri appetizer and oysters Miguel both were delicious. However, the meal kind of went down hill after that. After studying the lunch specials and entrees I found that it was very difficult to decide what to order because of the descriptions of the food and the food combinations, they just sounded quite unappetizing. Although the execution is quite good here there combination of flavors and ingredients needs a major revamp.

This is a great little find in Suffolk when most of the restaurants are closed for the season. Everyone was in the mood for seafood– we GOT seafood. We started with Mike’s Calamari, perfectly crispy but not overly fried, complete with pepperoncini. We ordered the Tuna Napoleon which was some of the freshest tuna I have ever eaten. And of course the shrimp and vegetable spring rolls with a pineapple dipping sauce. As my main, I ordered the Tuscan seafood stew, which was HUMONGOUS, and filled with shrimp, mussels, clams, tuna, salmon, garlic crostini; spicy tomato sauce. My sister ordered the Peconic Bay scallops which were in season, so they were sweet and fresh. All around a great meal– we will definitely be back to get our seafood on!

Talk about a superb find in a really cool area! While renting a home for the weekend in nearby Cutchogue, our winery driver/DD told us about Legends, so we decided to stop in for a hearty early lunch prior to a day-long winery tour. We arrived just as they were opening for lunch, and our party of seven was seated in a nice, large corner booth/table. The atmosphere at Legends is very cool — it’s a light, airy space with exposed beams, lovely woodwork, and nice seating and upholstery. There are no fewer than 23 TVs in the bar/dining area, but it doesn’t pervade your experience if you want to focus on the bay side atmosphere, but it’s also perfect if you’re dining with people who want to watch the sporting events on the TVs. The menu is really impressive, especially since I was expecting little other than typical«bar fare» like wings, nachos, burgers, and taco salads. Fortunately, there was much to offer, and even the daily specials were all very appealing. It was truly difficult to decide, as they have something for everyone. I’m pleased to say that all of the diversity among palates and preferences in our party were sated and satisfied. As for brews, you won’t be left lacking here, either. Their on-tap list is so extensive that our waitress offered to leave her list with us for our table to peruse while she brought over silverware. Plenty of seasonal, local, and national craft brews, plus all of the usual suspects. We ordered 4 different pumpkin-related beers alone! For an appetizer, I couldn’t resist their guacamole(I can’t resist any guacamole, TBH). Legends’ version included a «special surprise ingredient,» which I don’t want to give away, but I will… it was pomegranate arils(seeds) — they added such a nice crunch and texture to the guac without making it sweet! You must try it. We ordered many entrees, but I have to rave about my personal choice — the Eggplant Napoleon! It’s a beautiful«strata» of sliced eggplant, tomato, basil, and feta cheese, with balsamic and pesto — holy moly, it was great. I would add that the lobster mac-and-cheese, Mediter-Asian Salad, Scottish Salmon, 10-inch stone-baked pizza, and the grilled chicken/avocado/bacon sandwich were all HUGE hits with our party. Also, if you’re looking for a TV-free. bar-free atmosphere, the left side of the restaurant as you enter houses the quieter«fine dining» area, but we preferred the«upscale bar» atmosphere of the right side of the building!
