Metapan Restaurant

I have been here about 4 or 5 times since I moved to New Rochelle. Now everytime I go there I always have the chicharrón con queso pupusas my wife has the gueso pupusas they are both delicious, now if you can look past the exterior and interior looks, it looks like you might get robbed if you go in there but trust me you will not you won’t be disappointed once you do go in now I’m quite sure they have more flavorful food besides the pupusas but I only make it to the pupusas one day I will try something else

Can’t believe nobody has added this place by now. It’s been here for a long time and it is as authentic as it gets. Family run, no frills, very reasonably priced food that’s high quality, good place for a few coronas and local action. Mostly Spanish people come here, so you know it’s good.
