Brady’s Brewhouse

We’ve been here a few times now, and the beers are great but the service is just really… really…bad and the food is just average. On our last trip it took forever for our meals to arrive and one was totally incorrect. It took 20 minutes for them to bring correct meal out by then everyone had finished eating. Then to make it worse, burger was raw and inedible! Not a visit from management to apologize until we said we surprised that their approach was just to ignore the table. Then to keep up the great customer service they charge us for the inedible meal that arrived after we were done with dinner anyway. Sorry Brady’s…we tried…

My visit: we waited 15 minutes to be seated (it wasn’t busy). We were given menus and waited another 15 minutes for our server to come back to take our order. I ordered the Reuben and my wife ordered the fish. We waited another 15 – 20 minutes for our food. The food got to us and half of the fries were literally burnt, think charcoal and the other half were like limp noodles, no middle ground. My wife’s «fish» was an extremely small portion, more like 4 double deep fried fish sticks from a box. My «Reuben» was more bread than anything, a little bit of corned beef, one slice of cheese and NO sauerkraut or thousand island dressing. We left after eating and about an hour and a half later my stomach was killing me. Yup, you guessed it. I now have food poisoning. Neither of us will ever be back. I’ve always heard «their (Brady’s) food is overpriced for the portion sizes» «their food isn’t very good» now I believe them and now I’m sick to boot! I will tell everyone I know not to waste their time with their sub-​par wait staff and terrible food. If you want a real meal in a bar atmosphere go next door to Wild Badger or Champs. Don’t waste your money or time at Brady’s.

We stopped here in between a wedding ceremony and reception for beers and apps and we’re not disappointed. The beer list had a nice variety and the fried pickles were delicious. We also had the crab dip which was really good despite the lack of crab in Wisconsin. Service was good, she let us Try samples before ordering our beers which is always nice in a new place. It was very clean inside and nicely decorated. Looking at the menu, the entrees looked interesting, next time we are up north we will have to come back!

Fabulous food. Lots of new things, EXCELLENT deserts which I never need but always have to try! Great Service!

Brady’s has a great Happy Hour. Delicious wings and pizza. Great beer brewed on site. Nice atmostphere and consistently good service. It is worth a visit.

We travel 2hrs. to this awesome restaurant to enjoy the amazing, unique dinners. Great service, prices and atmosphere at this place… Highly recommend!

I drove over last Saturday for a change of taste. Prime rib was the special. Prime rib seams to a lost art but not at Bradys. I received a King Kong slice. Med rare. Perfectly done and matched with a great summer brew. I have to go back for Sunday as they have a beer /​wing deal.
Strongly suggest you give em a try some day.

We visit Brady’s Brewhouse on a regular basis for their great beer selection. The bar staff is knowledgeable about the craft beers and can recommend beers to try that are new. We haven’t eaten at Brady’s in several years but the restaurant seems to be busy whenever we are there. The prices on the food seem a little high for such small portions but again we rarely eat here so we don’t know the quality of the food.

Beer cheese soup is amazing. Lots of authentic Wisconsin food.

What more could you want in a small town pub? This place is very pretty inside – almost masculine and yet appeals to the ladies. I loved all the tap handles on display very fun to look at. We sat at the bar and sampled several of the beers. I ordered the grilled cheese and it was more of a panini sandwich much to my disappointment — I want ooooeyyy goooeyyy cheese. The flavors were good it had american, swiss, apple, bacon, and honey so it was tasty but i just wanted more melted cheese — if I would have ordered something different it may have bumped my experience to five star. The beers they brew were all very excellent quality – my husband even purchased a growler. Food prices are on the higher side with not a ton of price points which I think is important. It is okay to have higher ended items but after all it is a bar and sometimes a nice happy hour or bar food menu with cheap eats are nice. The husband got some of the bleu cheese bacon fries and he loved them — I had some and again longed for big chunks of bleu cheese. Dammit — i was in Wisconsin and still could not get my cheese fix for the day I guess so i’m just a little bitter this morning as I write this review.

We tried there pizza and all of us were pleasantly surprised. Good taste and perfect crust. I tried their gluten free crust and they have one of the best crusts for a GF product.

After work Friday, we stopped in for a couple of tall beers and a sandwich. We ordered a side of sweet potato fries with our burger. The burger was great, but I was really surprised how tasty the fries were! It was the first time I had ever eaten that type of fries, and it will be one of my favorites from here on out. Brady’s has been a bar/​restaurant that I have been going to since 2011 I have never once had a bad experience in the last 4 years.
If you attend Brady’s don’t be afraid to start the beer tour. This I find is the best way to try many types of beer, and a lot of them.
Service has been above and beyond my expectations from the owner Chris all the way down to the servers. I will alway suggest Brady’s to anyone who asks for a great place to eat, try new beer, or find their new bar in town.

Brady’s is the best around! Rivals many eateries in St. Paul in my opinion and it’s right here in my hometown! I send all my clients there as it’s safe and consistent that it won’t disappoint. The atmosphere is top notch, the staff is friendly and personable, the food is great, and the desserts are to die for. I’m not a beer drinker, but Brady’s makes me wish I was! Don’t miss your opportunity to experience this place!

Food was great. Our group ordered cheeseburgers and wings, both were tasty. The food was prompt and delivered with the correct modifications. Our server was below average. She took it upon herself to eat, just as our table was seated, because she was cut as we arrived. Our table went to the bar to refill our sodas, as they sat empty for a good 10 minutes. The server dropped off our order, and wasn’t seen again until we needed change. Overall opinion: great food, poor service.

Lunch with my Auntie here was great! The food was so good and lots of it for a decent price. I got the Cuban Mixto sandwich with a cup of soup instead of fries. The sandwich was huge! And all the flavors meshed perfectly. The soup was a spicy shrimp soup and a great way to start the meal on a winter day. Auntie ordered the chicken, apple, Brie sandwich and was happy with her sandwich as well– it had a nice big grilled chicken breast along with a generous portion of toppings and fresh bun. We both ordered iced teas which tasted freshly brewed, definitely not the Lipton iced tea on tap flavor you find many other places. Will come back again and again!

Okay, I’m writing this review with lots of experience.
The five stars is not for the house beer, which is okay, but not fantastic.
The five stars is for consistently good service in the probably 20 times I’ve been to this place. They’re always spot on.
The five stars is also for excellent food at a variety of price points. Sure you can get a filet steak or you can get a bowl of soup and a piece of bread for lunch.
So I took my lovely girlfriend here one valentines day, got the special on line, and called in, and we were so pleasantly surprised that I’ve been back so many times.
The crowd is a blend of locals, you’ll be bikers, people just passing through to go to their cabins, and 30 something singles in town.
Anybody can have 38 blaring big-​screen TVs, but not this place. You really have a choice of seating here, and when it’s full, it’s a little loud, but it’s really nice to have the grill right to your back at the bar.
Oh and Sunday nights, you cannot beat the specials.
Five stars Bradys, you’re the best restaurant in new Richmond Wisconsin in my book!

After reading all the great Unilocal reviews, my friends and I stopped here at the end of a day trip into Wisconsin. The service was prompt and friendly, and we all loved our food!
We started with the cheese curds, which were great. My friend and I both ordered the Chicken and Waffles, which were FANTASTIC. The chicken was crisp and delicious. The waffles were sweet (but not too sweet), and cooked just right. The crispy bacon was a delicious accent. It was hard to decide whether to dip the chicken into the sweet maple syrup, or the tangy and spicy mustard and sriracha sauce. It was delicious with both.

If you are familiar with Rock Bottom this place really seemed to be in the same vein but a little smaller. Atmosphere is great and the food is good quality. Worth giving the garlic fries a try not healthy but tasty! They are willing to give tasters of the different beers which is a nice touch. I tried the Hop Tornado and it was a winner for me! Definately will be going back!

I am bumping this place up
Burgers are awesome
41 beers on tap by my count! Includes 6 of their own which they brew on site. Went with their Nectorious H.O.P. It was knock me off my socks great! One thing that sucks about the new tap rooms cropping up all over the Cities is the lack of or complete non-​existence of food options. So it is really nice to have a local brewery with a full menu available.
I have been back a couple of times since my last review. The burgers are off the chain! Try the Silly Good Burger (Stuffed with peanut butter and spicy jalapenos,
topped with smoked bacon and pepperjack cheese) or the Surf and Turf Burger (Stuffed with house-​made savory seafood, accompanied by spicy remoulade, then topped with lettuce and tomato). I would give the slight edge to the Silly Good Burger. The Surf and Turf which I had today was a little too charred and a little light on the seafood for me, but still very good.
Why not five stars? It is in New Richmond. At least with the 45^th Parallel Distillery nearby, there is another reason to make the trek from the Cities.
