Very friendly staff, quiet atmosphere, great food, great bread. Ordered the Cuban and I was very pleased with the results. Just a heads up, only seating available are outdoor picnic tables so if you’re looking for an indoor restaurant this probably isn’t the place for you. If that doesn’t bother you than its an awesome grab and go deli worth checking out!

This is a New Providence staple. It is a jewel that has been patronized by so many of us NPHS graduates and we are now feeding our families with this delicious deli fare. The sandwiches are overstuffed and uses very high quality cold cuts. The breakfast sandwiches are excellent and very filling. In addition to trying them on a daily basis, call them for catering for your party or your office. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Hidden jem. Has changed names and hands over the years but the quality is always top shelf. Reasonable prices. Some picnic benches out front for when the weather is nice.

The place reminds me of residential delis in Queens NYC. If you want a good consistent sandwich you cannot go wrong. I would agree that if they used better bread they would be a great deli.

I would never have known that this place existed if my wife had not told me about it. Buried in the middle of Marion Avenue and not on any main road, you would definitely not know about this deli without word of mouth, or nowadays via Unilocal! This place used to be owned by an old couple while she was growing up, and now I guess it has been under new ownership. I have been to this place numerous times, but have not had the chance to write a review. Delis are a dime a dozen in suburbia, but this one brings back such nostalgia for me; a great local spot for awesome sandwiches/subs at extremely reasonable prices. I try to pick up lunch from here whenever I work remotely. My personal favorite: The chicken cutlet sub. My wife enjoys their Italian sub. I think one of the greatest things about them are the really fresh breads that they use. Make sure that you don’t come too late, they eventually run out for the day!

I’m feeling nostalgic. Having moved south, I miss a good deli. This a classic in the best sense. I mean, seriously. Fresh sliced meats and cheeses, oil and vinegar, s&p, good bread… These things aren’t very complicated, but I’ve had too many people mess up a simple sandwich to take one for granted. Ours came out quickly with a choice of sides(potato salad, macaroni salad, & cole slaw) and a pickle. The guys working here were really friendly, which always makes me a fan. We grubbed out on the patio and enjoyed the food and what turned out to be a very pretty day. As we ate, a steady stream of customers walked in and out. Everyone seemed greeted by name and with a smile. Guess it is just one of those places with a very loyal fan base. Made me miss home. As always, any place that is dog friendly gets an extra star from me.

Small deli located in a residential area. Wouldn’t even know it was there unless there was a sign on it… it blends into the houses in the area. Subs are average. Prices are decent. Quality is average. My friend swears by the hot sandwiches but a true deli(in my eyes) is decided on the quality of their cold cuts. They do have good cold cuts. Not the best deli in the area but a good place to stop in. They also give you a pickle and a side salad with every sandwich. Service is generally good. Their bread needs to improve though.
