This place has great customer service. I showed up for a Bronx beer tasting event last week and got into a conversation with the store manager. When I told him about my favorite beer, he instantly ordered it for me. Most places just say they never heard of it and end it there. Today I picked it up and had another conversation with a store employee who was also very friendly. He offered me his recommendation which sounded so good I had to buy it. These days you don’t always find good customer service. Very friendly service and I highly recommend it.

My experience has been very good here. Paul is exceptionally nice and you can’t beat the wine by the case discount.

For years around this time of year I would go to Jose’s Mexican Cantina for dinner; right next door to this liquor store. We patronized this liquor store each time as Jose’s is a byob. Last night was no different except that Jose’s was closed. Still purchased two bottles of wine and chips and settled in outside to watch the fireworks we were surprised that would occur that night! The inside staff of the store was fantastic, accommodating and exhibited great customer service. The owner however was rude, obnoxious, arrogant and condescending. The traditional has ended. I will never patronize this store again.

$ 35.99 for your standard 750 ml bottle of Jameson?!? Are you kidding me? I don’t think I have ever paid over $ 28 for a bottle of Jameson. They also didn’t seem very knowledgable about different types of beers. I was told that this is a new store so perhaps their initial overhead is a little high, and they are trying to compensate for that. However, I quickly got in the car and drove 2 miles down the street to Kings and got the same bottle for $ 8 cheaper. The guys in the shop were very friendly though so I’ll throw in a second star.
