The best bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches around. Also can add hash browns. The menu looks good, pricing is fair and they have parking in the back. They take cards with a $ 7 minimum. The breakfast burrito, Cuban sandwich and Peruvian sandwich will definitely be on my list to try next time I come.

just a note to mgt. the food use to be better, it had more flavor now seems like just a lot of salt. portions, now you get a ton of rice and not a lot of meat or chicken. I hope you take this as constructive criticism

Great prices, great selection. Pleasantly surprised because it’s not much to look at from the outside! Must have passed this place a hundred times and never thought of going in. Thanks Unilocal

For the price, this is awesome. Amazing and cheap. Obviously you should never eat at taco bell, but with this place close by, I’m shocked that it survives.

Decent deli food, a little run down looking but the people are friendly and the food is good and very reasonable. Portions are pretty sizeable too. Solid choice for a quick lunch

I love this place! Fantastic, cheap food. Too bad there are only a couple of little tables. Great for takeout, and if you have a party, order a bunch of large dishes from here — and they’ll make whatever you want — for a fraction of what a caterer would charge.

Awesome deli, the chicken quesadillas are delicious and the assortment of rice and beans are all very tasty and authentic. New to the New Milford area and I could definitely say I’ve found my local deli. Eager to go back just so I can try a bit more of what they have to offer.

Best food ever. The chicken quesadillas are flavorful and just the right amount of cheese and it’s served with that’s chipotle mayo which brings it over the top. My boyfriend swears by the pork burrito, it’s what he gets every single time we eat there. The chicken empanadas are so big and cheap and AMAZING! They are the only place around I’ve even found chicken empanadas at. They have tables to eat at. Sometimes it takes a while to get the food but only cause they are very popular, especially at lunch time but TOTALLYWORTHTHEWAIT! I only wish they were open later so I could eat there for dinner too! I appreciate how even though there is sometimes a language barrier, the people who work there are eager to help and so very nice.

I used to love Primo’s, but it has gone downhill since they changed owners. Now it seems every time I eat there I get food poisoning. The food isn’t expensive, but it’s not Taco Bell priced either. What really increases your bill is beverages. They are terribly overpriced, avoid buying if possible. That being said, on a good day they have the best breakfast sandwiches, burritos and empanadas around.

Unilocal did not steer me wrong with the Primo Deli. Never having visited New Milford before, I was tempted to check out the DinerLuxe, because it looks really cool, but instead decided to trust my Unilocal gut instead. It was a good call. Primo Deli has your traditional deli fare(breakfasts and sandwiches), but also an excellent selection of Latino groceries and delicacies. I sampled both a pork plate and the Reuben and both were wonderful. The plate is an amazing deal, your choice of protein, beans, and rice, all in heaping quantities for $ 8.99. I had enough for two days of lunch and enjoyed the rich flavors and textures just as much the second day. I’m ranking Primo 4 out of 5 stars not because the food was anything less than superb, but because I was initially confused as to how the food procurement process works. It’s similar to a cafeteria style, where you’ll go up to order what you want. If it’s a plate, they can dish you up right away, but other things are made to order. Then, when it’s ready, they’ll either bring it out to you or go and pick it up. Finally, when you’re all done, just head to the register and pay. The upside of providing your own table service is that you can give yourself a gratuity and get ice cream afterwards.

Yummy! Delicious food, great price. I had the«chimi», pulled pork with slaw and chipotle sauce. They grill it panini style. Sooooo good. The rice and bean plates with the beef ribs and ox tails were good too. Huge portions. Next time burritos!

Delicious dominican stews, empenadas, and soups! Very friendly service, it is a family business that has been around for several years now! A very welcome addition to New Milford! As good as it gets… as authentic and good as the best dominican delis in Washington Heights and East Harlem, NY… nice to have this in rural CT! Thank you, Primos!

This place is a gem if you are looking for cheap, authentic, hispanic food in the area. They give you mounds of food, from the burrito to the Cuban sandwich. My favorite is just to get the plate. Your choice of meat served with rice and beans, so much food I have to take half home. They serve you cafeteria style, so you can eat at the counter or few tables in the front. Not much for atmosphere, but for cheap flavourful food served with a smile, this place wins!

Food handling catastrophe. I watched as they cross contaminated raw eggs, raw bacon and the roll for my egg sandwich. I paid and threw it out. Wow, bet it would have tasted great until I got sick.

Awesome spot… Upon first glance, it doesn’t seem like much, but Primo is just that… Primo! Having lived in Los Angeles for five years, I’ve had muchos burritos. Yet somehow, in this tiny deli in New Milford CT, is the single best burrito I’ve ever had. Literally. The service is great, tons of options both American and Hispanic, and a great selection of Latino groceries. One of the best lunch options in downtown NM. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out.
