Was in the area and looking for something healthy and fresh. I’m not a vegan or vegetarian, but I appreciate eating out anyplace that makes a good dish I probably can’t replicate at home. After reading some rave reviews here on Unilocal I opted for the perspective bowl with rice, beans, pico, avacado, and vegan cheese(got the small) and a smoothie(don’t remember the name, but it had wheatgrass, almond milk, and coconut flakes) which were enough for a decent lunch — although the total was an impressive $ 17 which will sadly prevent me from eating here often. I also glanced at the cute slices of vegan cake, but $ 7.50 was too steep for me. Overall, really cute and clean space including the kitchen which was able to be seen from check out counter. Very happy to see a place like this for conscious eaters in the New London area.

Finally, a good vegan place in new London! Right path café opened In place of the vegetarian place(mangetout). It’s a plant based vegan restaurant. We went for lunch and all but one table was full. I thought the wait time for our lunch was average. I had the perspective bowl, which had greens, rice, beans, and vegan cheese and avocado. Freaking. Amazing!!! I ate it quickly, perhaps too quickly, but i enjoyed it immensely! For an appetizer, we grabbed a pack of Thai cashews. They appeared to make them in house. They were delicious! I personally liked that you ordered and paid first. The restaurant is clean and smelled great. The bathroom was also very clean. I cannot wait to go back. In fact, I think I’ll go pick up a salad for dinner! This place is worth a trip to new London! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Food here is all vegan and mostly(not all) raw or gently dehydrated. While this is my kind of food, Old New Londoners likely will find this hard to swallow. Fortunately the smoothies and juices appeal to a wider clientele. In addition to the juice blends listed on the menu, veg juices can be customized to your whims, to which the staff is very accommodating. My favorite is the all-veggie, no-fruit, no-carrot Radical. The wheatgrass juice is especially potent and sweet. And the 200 proof ginger juice(another of my favorites, though only for the brave!) is quite unique among juice bars. The solid fare all is wholesome and delicious and nutritious. The anagrammatic Calm Chowder is outstanding. The housemade raw Kale chips are better than any in the marketplace, where most are Stale chips. The chevre cheeze also is excellent. As though the food itself were not esoteric enough, Sanskrit names of dishes such as Nirvana and Namaste proselytize the tenets of the Dhammapada and the Upanishads. I for one would feel more comfortable ordering an entrée named Anorexia Nervosa or a smoothie named Paranoid Schizophrenia, but meanwhile I try to hold back my sidesplitting laughter when I order up a side of intangible Liberation or a bowl of instant Wisdom. Despite the menu’s pretentious Buddhist outer trappings, this café is a winner. So embark on a pilgrimage to downtown New London, where the smoothie bliss of a cupful of Nirvana awaits you.

Living vegan in New England can be rough… Thank goodness this café opened up! ++Wheatgrass is freshly cut and juiced when ordered; yay! ++Friendly, inviting environment ++Smells amazing ++Very clean My friend and I each ordered a double shot of wheatgrass. Wheatgrass is delicious, so don’t be wry of trying it! It has so many benefits too. We wanted to order a shot to go for a friend, but they didn’t have to go containers. Also, there was too much foam on the top of the wheatgrass shots. We asked for a glass of water to rinse the shot glasses, to get rid of the foam =) My friend ordered a Karma wrap. However, they only had gluten-free wraps available and were honest that it would break apart. They suggested a bowl instead. My friend had the bowl and really enjoyed it; especially the dressing. I ordered a Perspective bowl. Delicious! The fresh greens and beets were a plus!!! The rice and beans were good, but what really hit the spot was the house made sour creem and jack cheeze. Easily they could have used a processed vegan sour cream and cheese, but instead choose the right way. the right path ;)! We had both of our orders to go and yes it took some time. However, the staff acknowledged this, which goes a long way in my book. Fresh, honest food is worth the wait. Also, it was lunch time. Give this place a chance. One person taking orders and making juices/smoothies, while the chef prepares everything else. Fresh, good for you food that is also good for environment and local economy. I’ve been vegan for 13 years and I understand how the word vegan scares people away… don’t be that person. This place nails it!

Right Path is the best food in the area, and a perfect addition to the downtown area. The monk bowl was delicious. The snacks are not to be missed. We got some Thai cashews, and crispy kale chips that were made in house. They were gone before we made it back to work. The food is the real deal. You can see right into the kitchen, as they have nothing to hide. All natural, organic ingredients. Real cozy environment to enjoy a healthy lunch on the go like we were. The food is fresh, filling, and doesn’t make you feel like garbage after eating it. Will return for dinner.

We were happy to hear about a new place in the space of the old MangeTout. Plant-based, local, organic… all good things. We tried the Monk and Speech Bowls and both were awesome… flavorful. Started off with a snack(Concentration: Almond Butter and Jam on tortilla) and John had the Nirvana Smoothie(coconut water/meat, almond butter, banana and dates) and they, too, were delicious. Service was great. Excellent experience!
