Been getting dirty water dogs from Gus for about 20 years now. Gus is truly a character. The hot dogs are excellently on par for a food cart. Prices are decent and unlike most vendors these days, Gus still makes his own sauteed onions himself. I see that some reviews state that Gus is grumpy. I consider him to be matter-​of-​factly rather than grumpy. You’re not going there to make a friend. You’re going there for great hot dogs for a cheap price. And on that, Gus definitely delivers! :-)

Still grouchy after all these years…
Gus, you lovable old grump– change that nasty flannel shirt already! In any case, he is still one of the only hot dog carts in Nassau County and everyone seems to have been here at least once.
Good dogs, fair price.
