So good!!! I got the marinated chicken and it was fantastic. I was surprised by how simple the roll looked– meat, some veggies, and a sauce, but the taste was perfect. I think what made this really good was also the shell– it was soft, but a little flaky and so flavorful. Oh and it was cheap too!

This is by far the best food truck in the ingalls rink lot. It’s a tad outside of most people’s comfort zone but well worth trying the new experience. I’ve never been disappointed. It’s cheap enough to justify going to often, but good enough to feel great about it. I’m vegetarian and they have options for me that are just wonderful.

Wow! I just had an amazing roll here. My Benghali Burrito looked so simple, but it was delicious! I had the egg version, which is an onion omelette topped with minced cabbage and a spicy sauce. So, so good. I’m so happy I stopped on my way through New Haven. Two rolls and a water for $ 5.50, you can’t beat that!

Tiny cart but so much goodness. The dough part is frozen/refrigerated because I’ve seen them take it out of plastic to fry it, but the dough still comes out crispy and flaky somehow. Each one is cooked to order so they are served hot and have the perfect level of spiciness and sauces. If you ever pass by the food carts on Prospect Street, give it a try because you won’t regret it.

My thought process as I saw Bengali Burrito: A. Bengali? As in Benghal? As in Bangladesh? As in Bengal Tigers? B. What is this moghul Mexican mix? C. $ 2.50 for a sizeable delicious Lamb roll. Imma eat that. Found this cart on Prospect street. Never have visited New Haven before and when I saw this row of food carts, the heavens(or perhaps Havens har had) parted and gifted me with cheap and delicious eats. I loved how these food trucks were truly the original FOOD TRUCKs. No glitz and glam like I see in Nashville. It was literally people selling food out their truck. Anyway, the rolls were delicious, very rich with the perfect consistency soft roll that soaked up that extra grease. Damn it now I want another. My only regret is that I ordered one. Perfect pre– live leaf cutter ant exhibit + dinosaurs at the Peabody.

This. Cart. Rocks! Located at Ingall’s, you can get 2 rolls and a water for $ 5, or 3 rolls for $ 7. I’ve had the beef, chicken and Cauliflower/Potato, and all are winners. A good mix of meat/veggie, hot sauce(optional, but required in my opinion) held in a soft but crispy wrap. Rolls are made on the spot for each order, and is surprisingly quick. Love that kind of service during lunch. Going again and again is a requirement at this point. Highly recommended

There’s a reason that the lines are so long here. Kati rolls are the best cheap lunch item that the New Haven carts have to offer. Rolls come with a variety of fillings — Lamb, Beef, Chicken, Cauliflower, and I may be forgetting one or two others. I’m personally partial to the lamb and beef. The rolls themselves are rich and flavorful; probably really high in fat and salt! I haven’t seen Kati rolls anywhere else in the world outside of this single food cart, but I hope they start to catch on because they sure are delicious. I’d recommend getting two, or at most three, per person. They’re more filling than they look.

Cheap and delicious. While IT contracted on the medical campus I lost track of how many chicken or veggie rolls I have eaten from here. A chicken roll with some hot sauce will fill you up and it’s about 2 bucks. Highly recommended street food.

My wife and I love eating at this cart. Our favorite are the veggie rolls. The other fillings are great too, but veggie is MAGIC.

Bengali burritos, Kati rolls… What ever you call them, it’s a little piece of heaven! My favorite is one chicken, one lamb, both spicy. They are never too spicy either. Spicy hear is a good level of heat, not that on line with Mamoun’s spicy… And for $ 5 for two rolls and a water, you can’t go wrong!

«Fast food» that’s tasty, flavorful and, if need be, spicy? Count me in. Very well made food. Only problem is, I really wish I could figure out how to cook the same stuff at home so I can have it all the time :)

This food cart is AMAZING!!! You really can’t beat the price of of 3 rolls for $ 7. I bought six just so I can try multiple flavors. Chicken, lamb, beef, potato-cauliflower. All of them were tasty. The portion sizes are just right, but because I can eat like a ravenous truck driver, I pretty much ate way more than half of what I ordered. The line looks long but the two guys working the truck are super efficient so the line moves quickly. The bread they use is so flavorful and I really like the texture to it. It almost has the texture of a crêpe(definitely not like a tortilla). The meat was very tender and had the right amount of seasoning. The rolls taste even better if you drizzle Sriracha all over it. Speaking of sauce, they serve the rolls with this delicious mint chutney. I asked the guy to put extra just because it looked super tasty and I am so happy I did that because it made the roll have a flavor explosion. My favorite flavor is the potato-cauliflower(even though I’m predominantly carnivorous). The potato-cauliflower mixture pretty much sucked up all the seasoning they put on it and had a curry flavor to it. It kind of reminded me of the flavor of a Singapore-style noodle dish. I will definitely become a regular at this food cart every time I’m working at Yale.

My favorite food cart! It only serves Kati rolls, or «Bengali burritos.» You can get them with lamb, beef, chicken or cauliflower, and it’s two for $ 5 along with water. Yes, it really is that good of a deal. Plus, the line’s never too long. Whenever I go to the food carts I tell myself I’ll get something else, but I always drift back to the kati rolls. They’re just too good.

I love the Kati rolls! Get three if you are super hungry, but two are usually enough for me. The soft flat bread they make for the rolls is amazing. I don’t know what it is, but it’s delicious. You can’t go wrong with what you pick to fill your roll. I have had the beef, lamb, chicken, and cauliflower. Everything is nicely spiced. I don’t think it’s too hot, but after the second one you do have a little spicy tingle on your lips. You can’t beat the price at the carts. All of them are a great deal for a good sized lunch(and possibly your dinner later too).

Love the marinated chicken, it’s very tasty & spicy. Only problem I’ve had is that they have run out of chicken the last two times I visited this cart. Today they borrowed some chicken from a fellow vendor — was good, but not the same tasty, marinated chicken I was use to getting from Kati Roll Cart. Still, you really can’t go wrong when you get two burritos for 5 bucks.

I love the Kati Roll Cart! They only serve kati rolls, which are«Bengali burritos»: various fillings wrapped in paratha, a flatbread. Two lamb rolls and a water for five bucks is my go-to lunch when I’m on Science Hill.
