I live down the street from this place pass it everyday and have not stopped in until today. Every Sunday my husband and I usually go to Cracker Barrel or IHOP on Sundays. I suggested we give this a try and I’m so glad we did. When we pulled up someone was outside cleaning the windows. We walked in and the place was spotless. The entire staff was friendly said hello and we were seated right way. The waitress was very nice fast and efficient. Is he brought an entire pitcher of water for me because that was awesome. My hubby order French toast eggs and bacon which was delicious. I ordered the corn beef hash not realizing it was scratch it was good even though I like fake corn beef hash. Overall the first experience was awesome we will def go back especially since it is so conviently located near our house. I loved it

Excellent. Never went even though I live around the corner. I was happy with the portions and the bill. People were so nice. I will be back.

Just finished my breakfast here. Not too bad. Service was friendly, the food is decent. The place is dimly lit, which makes it… I dunno… unwelcoming? But it’s clean and my food came quickly and as I ordered. Granted, nothing too fancy– I had scrambled with cheese and a side of sausage. The plate was a bit undersized for the food .not that there was so much food, but the plate itself really should have been bigger. I had to unbury the eggs from the home fries and sausage links. Coffee is served in the old style cups, not mugs, so it cools too quickly, but refills are easy to get. In a nutshell, it’s a diner. Nothing fancy, clean and uninspiring. Good for a quick bite if you want to skip the fast food joints.

A quaint little diner. Clean and service was fast. The food was very country style.. . And very tasty… Although a little heavier. I loved the broiled salmon with veggies and rice. The salads are good and portion sizes are decent. Id eat there again.

Stopped in on a Monday morning on a whim after dropping my dog off at the Vet. It’s one of the smallest diners I’ve ever been in and you can tell it’s been around for awhile. I ordered the waffles with Canadian bacon, which was decent. Nothing to write home about. I did get a taste of my boyfriend’s corn beef hash and I kind of wish I ordered that. It was very tasty.

not bad, nothing to write home about. clean and fast for a weekend breakfast. I did see a full bar which is strange for a diner but kind of cool if you are eating dinner there.

only came here for a milkshake and some after dinner dessert, but what we got wasn’t too bad. the prices were cheap and the service was relatively fast, so the entire experience was pretty good. except for the odd smell as soon as we walked in. maybe I’ll have to come back here for some real food. although, I’m not sure if I’d go out of my way to come to this diner.

Yummy fries! Very fast service. Slightly above average for a diner. Breakfast is prob their best meal. Soups a bit bland. Caesar salad too greasy.

Our family went here after a funeral and the owner refused to seat us as he had concerns that he wouldn’t be able to seat and feed his«regulars». Even after we requested just coffee the owner still refused to sit us. Maybe this is a great place for«his regulars» but after refusal to seat a family just burying their father, I would have a difficult time EVER spending a dime at the 91 Diner.

My favorite diner in the area. Im the type of person tht only gets breakfast at a diner no matter what time of day it is. Omelettes, frecnh toast, pancakes, sausage, bacon you name it all fresh and delicious here. Again ive only ever gotten breakfast here, but they do have a full dinner and lunch menu

Outstanding prep marinade & taste of grilled chicken on their caesar salad. Huge portions of chicken, great pancakes, their service is very fast, the fastest of any local place

I hate judging a diner by real restaurant standards because clearly this is not 5 star food we’re dealing with here. That said, I’ve been to some amazing diners that really do have good food. 91 Diner is not one of them. I was not excited to try 91 Diner. In fact, I was scared. Stuck in a not so great part of town in a run down little building I was shocked to see a full parking lot while driving by one day. So during the torrential downpour yesterday a very starved Jay said the heck with it and decided to brave it. It’s close to my place, there wouldn’t be a wait, and I mean it couldn’t kill me, right? And it didn’t. It was actually pretty decent. Super clean, friendly waitstaff, a typical diner menu. The coffee was pretty bad and watered down, but the overcooked ham and cheese omelet served its purpose well and nursed me through a hangover on a rainy day. It’s not perfect and sure I’d prefer a quaint brunch someplace, but for convenient and quick diner food it’s a perfectly acceptable spot. I’ll be back on the next rainy day when I don’t want to go too far.

We went here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The place was nearly empty but our waitress seemed in a super hurry nonetheless. She asked for our drink orders the second we sat down. Good think I had coffee on my mind. When she brought the drinks she asked if we were ready to order even though we were clearly waiting for someone. When the person we were waiting for arrived the waitress only gave us about 2 minutes before she asked again if we were ready. My chocolate chip pancakes and side of sausage really hit the spot. It came with three large pancakes. I still prefer IHOP just because of the variety of syrups they have there but these pancakes were fine. There is nothing remarkable about the food here but the prices are good. My pancakes, sausage and coffee ended up being about $ 10. No complaints there!

Fairly good first impression. The diner is dim in a good way. The salads were huge and healthy, with lots of protein and fresh, grown-up spinach. The service was good. The onion rings were hot. The sodas were too expensive. The TV was annoying.

Like Katie says. it’s a diner, and a pretty decent one. honest food, nice people, clean place. when we were there a few tables were police officers, i guess that means its officially good food? the location is pretty good if you know how to get to it — its not that easy from 91 north since once you see it, you’ve passed it . i had some pancakes that were good but coulda been cooked a smidge more, some french fries that were super crispy and very crunchy good, a chocolate shake that was just a few clicks beyond chocolate milk — all was OK with me, and everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. an a-ok diner that i have been to many times before and will likely return to . i find the… ummmmm… interesting shrine around the tv to be a bit peculiar, and the marble works on the wall looked like a mausoleum. the bucket filled with flowers hanging on the back of the restaurant outside, its kitschy and weird but i wouldn’t change it… makes you go «hmm»

I enjoyed an egg white omelette plate and coffee at the 91 one day on a whim. I am a diner enthusiast, and they certainly passed inspection in my book. Classic diner, but a little more open and airy than the typical, which I enjoyed. It’s very clean, very friendly, and they have great grilled cheese and homefries. I’ve only gone that one time, but I’m sure I’ll stop in again at some point.
