I have eaten here a few times… Food is good, service is good and the prices are good! Not much more needs to be said!

So first off, huuuuge kudos to The Loft Eatery for being open on New Years Day! I love a good home-y restaurant. Everyone was very friendly. I ordered the Dough Boy and it was goooooood! Just a tasty, hearty sandwich. I forget what my boyfriend got but it was a lot of food and he ate every single bite and loved it! They kept the coffee flowing which is definitely a plus. Can’t say it was that strong but I may just be picky. All in all, I really liked this place. Great stop if you’re going through this area.

Awesome«hole in the wall»(I call it that only because it’s tucked up on the second floor above a store) breakfast spot! You can see the kitchen right from your table; however, not in a bad way, but in a «make yourself at home» kind of way. I really enjoyed the Dough Boy and the Cheese Grits. I’ll definitely be returning!

The loft has amazing food. I had the flat iron steak salad with their home made ranch dressing and a piece of their chocolate peanut butter cake. Everything was so good. I plan on going back very soon to try out more of their food.

Went here for lunch after work one day. Tried the meatloaf blt and was happy with it. I would wager this place is a hot spot for breakfast and then tapers off for meals beyond lunch. The menu wasn’t too elaborate, and you do need to hike up some stairs when using the main entrance. It was alright; I’ll try breakfast someday.

Service is great. The food was really good. Would definitely come back. My wife liked her very cheesy grits. I got an eggs Benedict special which was perfect.

Cute restaurant on the 2nd floor. Great prices. Imaginative menu for staple breakfast items. We both had the Alpine omelet which was stuffed with mushrooms and bacon. The coffee could have been warmer but other than that an enjoyable breakfast.

Just go! Comfort food with a level of sophistication(without the snobbery) paired with personal hospitality will have you coming back for more.

The Haddock with their home made Ranch sauce was excellent, the fried cabbage delightful, and the baked sweet potato, I mean the sweet potato canoe, will leave you satisfied, AND smiling! Try the pumpkin roll for a real treat.

Cool little hidden gem in New Cumberland. Went to breakfast one Saturday morning. Crowded but no wait. Awesome service with prompt coffee refills which is extremely important to us :). The food was delicious and the price was on point.

Go there. I had the lunch menu, a flat iron steak salad. Good crisp greens, steak tender and done right. Home made bleu cheese dressing, buffalo chicken soup and home made peach pie with a marshmallow cream topping. So good.

Cute place! Great breakfast! I would give 5 stars but I had to get up and get my own condiments and ask for things a few times and we were only people there. Still, I hope this place makes it!

I went with a friend of mine. I’ve always loved good home cooking. I grew up on plain meat and potatoes type food. I had the open face turkey sandwich and got the fries with gravy(on the side). The turkey was so delicious. The fries were the best I’d had in years and gravy topped everything off perfectly. You didn’t get a monster plate of food, but there was more than enough to fill you up. The chocolate cake with peanut butter icing was FANTASTIC! And the portion of cake was HUGE!!! The seating was extremely comfortable and the ambiance was very relaxing. Did I say comfortable? I highly recommend this place.

The Loft Eatery is a very nice place to head for breakfast(and I’m sure any other meal). It is located right on bridge street in New Cumberland, but the name is very telling. If you have trouble getting up stairs then this may not be the restaurant for you. The first time that I went we were recommended the pancakes and baked oatmeal, but quickly realized that there is really only one thing that you need to get. The baked oatmeal was outstanding, and frequently changes flavors! Whenever I am looking for a delicious breakfast to go, or a nice morning out, I head to the Loft Eatery. I hope that you enjoy it too!

Great meal after a long day. Kris tool great care of us and the earlier reviews were correct. Meat loaf parm was very tasty and the report on the pot roast was terrific as well. Pot roast cut with a butter knife. All in all, a great experience.

Great atmosphere and awesome food! Two people stuffed for ten bucks. You can’t beat that. Coffee, eggs, sweet potatoes, and a pancake.

I should tell you that we had a terrible experience at breakfast this morning just so it isn’t crowded the next time we go, but this place is awesome! The food, the coffee and the staff were all top-notch.

This is a new restaurant in New Cumberland. It’s right above Gray Water Ops silk screen printing shop, across the street from the post office and beside the west shore theater. Excellent home cooked food and the prices are very reasonable. The portions won’t leave you hungry either! Had the hand carved turkey with cranberry sauce and mayo, lettuce and tomato. Good home cooked food, great price and portions. I will eat here often as I work in downtown New Cumberland!

Excellent food, great prices, excellent staff! Great quaint hidden spot! I have eaten here three in the past four days. The first time I had the ham Ruben which was amazing and my friend had the handcarved turkey sandwich with cranberry mayo, also delicious. Today I had a meatloaf BLT with homemade meatloaf. I would’ve never thought to order it but everyone was saying how great it was, so I did, they were right! I haven’t tried their breakfast yet but apparently they are open at 6am.
