Holiday Inn Express & Suites NEW CUMBERLAND

This has been one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in… I’m really shocked by how bad it is. The walls are really thin, so you hear the people next door watching tv, doing other things… people apparently moving furniture over your head. And I’m not sure what kind of bugs these are but I’ve found two (correction: 5) in my room. They advertise services that they no longer offer. I needed a suit dry cleaned and they offer dry/​cleaning laundry service… or at least they did. For a $ 50 a night motel this might be okay… but for advertise price of $ 120 per night Holiday Inn should be ashamed.

This hotel was a highlight to our trip! It made our trip as comfortable and stress free as it could be! The décor is beautiful and very modern. I loved the neutral palate theme they had. The room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. The fluffy duvet made it that much better. The staff was excellent! One gentleman engaged in conversation with us every time he saw us and really worked hard to make sure we were having a good stay! The breakfast was really good! The pancakes were amazing and I really liked how the toast was thick. The breakfast is very varied, so everyone should be able to find something! Best hotel breakfast I’ve seen! The pool was excellent as it’s mostly salt water, really good change from regular pools. The fitness room was clean and well stocked. The small business area was nice to get on the computers and do some work. They had a really good selection of frozen foods, candy & snacks and toiletries you may have forgotten. Sort of like a gift shop? They also had a special promotion for the month of August with free pancakes from 8 – 12 amazing right! If I ever wanted to go to Hershey again I would stay here.

Very beautiful hotel with great staff. Timely check in, room was good sized. The décor of the room n common area was very well designed. Loved the overall experience.

This hotel is grouped with a few other, older hotels near 83 and a 24-​hour diner. I stayed here 1 night and it was a clean, reasonable place with good staff.
HOWEVER… do not stay in Room 107! It is the room next to the elevator machinery room and that machinery is LOUD. Because the place is newly constructed it uses the new-​school thin walls, and the noise goes on all night and whenever somebody uses the elevator.
Room 100 is probably a loud room, too, because the laundry room is next to that.
Other than that, it’s a nice place. I really like its décor: modern and clean. They have breakfast buffet.
The place is very handicap-​accessible.

It’s a new, really well designed hotel. For a Holiday Inn Express, it looks very trendy and modern. Room was really clean, especially the bathroom. Bedding was comfortable, and everything worked. Breakfast was decent, comparably better than other HIE. It also has a small indoor pool. Located right off the highway, and about a 15-​minutes drive from Hershey Park. I really liked the hotel except the service. Staff wasn’t welcoming at all, and no recognition for being a platinum member.
