Three stars because they have an amazing location, environment and menu. Lost two stars because the barista had a mega attitude, got my order wrong and another barista served me a drippy mug with no dish. I was attracted to this lovely drink: S’mores Mocha– Toasted Marshmallow Mocha with Whipped Cream and Caramel Drizzle Sounds delish, right? Being my fist time here, I did not know what to expect. The barista/Cashier(thick girl) grabbed a disposable cup and I politely asked if I could have a mug instead. She chucked the cup somewhere and it missed, falling on the floor. I was all like, whoa. Upon going to the pick up counter, another barista was prepping(girl with cool head wrap, fun hair) My mug was briskly placed on the counter, spilling some of my coffee onto the counter. I did NOT get what I ordered. My mocha had no whipped cream or caramel. I asked for a dish to place under my drippy mug. I did have fun with a stirring straw and drew hearts in my coffee froth. Whatever I DID get tasted OK, but again, not what I ordered. The pastries were yummy as well. I will return again, but I will have to write this place off my be back list if I get bad service again.

I’m extremely perplexed how this place has garnered as high of a rating as shown. The customer service was very lackluster. While there, the gentleman manning the register was very passive aggressive with the guests. The latte was very poorly made, and consisted primarily of milk rather than espresso. Needless to say, I will not be returning

We love to meet up here after a great yoga session or to plan our next blog post. The baked oatmeal makes for a great breakfast, and they always have a variety of tasty, homemade treats. Katie really likes both the italian cream soda and chai, while Amy always orders the iced coffee(black). We also have on good authority that the blueberry smoothies are exceptionally tasty.

We continue to frequent this coffee shop in Camp Hill Pa. I have not found another like it in this area, ample seating, excellent espresso offerings, consistent quality, nice variety, live music on weekends, reasonable pricing and really great service. Oh yeah, wifi, nice patio seating and easy parking. Please try this. They have a rewards loyalty program as well.

Definitely try their homemade baked goods. The oatbars and baked oatmeal with fresh blueberries are healthy and fantastic! Great atmosphere to talk or do work as well.

I love coming here! Haven’t been for live music but their drink specials are so tasty — just enjoyed the super mom today. They have a nice variety of food and sweet treats too. Indoor seating is pretty limited but they have some space outdoors and I don’t usually stay very long so it’s not a big deal for me.

People come people go the baristas change but at Cornerstone Coffeehouse the quality and hospitality remains for all to enjoy! A comfortable relaxing setting indoors and out make it one of the most comfortable places to enjoy a cup of tea, coffee, milkshake with a desert. Many unique sandwiches, soups, cookies and candies also adorn their menus! Definitely a place to try if your traveling down Market St. In Camp Hill.

I ordered a green yea latte with coconut milk and while drinking it I had to think of I had ordered a latte or just a glass of hot water because that was all that it tasted like. There was an inch of foam on the top of my coffee and two tea bags in it that didn’t even have the strings connected. I was very displeased especially because places like this are normally cheaper than the chain cafes like starbucks, but this one was not.

I’d love to give this place another star, but I’ve had some interactions with the workers there that have left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. Cornerstone offers great flavored coffee options, and even seem to have their own blend which they sell in half pound bags(for $ 7-$ 8). They also have seasonal lattes which are okay but pricey. I’d recommend just going for a regular coffee. Also, they stop making food pretty early in the day(either 2 or 3) so don’t plan on grabbing anything for dinner here. The seating is hit or miss, as there are nice tables with outlets available, but it can get packed really quick – so you have to aware of what time of day you’re getting there if you plan on hanging out.

I was at BJ’s and the winter chill came up and judo chopped me in the noggin. I needed something to warm up quick. I called on Unilocal and it informed me that there were two choices nearby. One, a little ol’ place called Starbucks. The other, Cornerstone Coffeehouse. I conversed with my passenger at the time(my wife) and she absolutely refused to give Cornerstone a try. So I bookmarked it in hopes I’d get a chance to go back and begrudgingly set up shop in the cold, corporate world of Starbucks. Well my fellow Unilocalians, my motto is if fate doesn’t give you the chance, make a chance. And that’s what I did with Cornerstone Coffeehouse. Not once. Not twice. But three gloriously satisfying times I drove well out of my way to pay this place a visit. Cornerstone Coffeehouse is located on Market Street in Camp Hill. It is nestled amongst a number of other local businesses. When you enter the coffeehouse’s main entrance, a dozen or so small tables are located off to the left(and there are more in back). The first time I visited, and on every subsequent visit, 9⁄10 of the tables up front were occupied. That was definitely a good sign. I made my way to the counter and was immediately drawn to their board of specials. One in particular, a gingerbread chocolate chai tea, caught my attention. I know chai usually has milk in it and I almost shied away because everywhere I looked I found no mention of milk alternatives. I had read reviews, checked menus, surveyed the board and found not one mention. If I had one problem with Cornerstone, that was it. Not everything is advertised. Some things require a secret password to unlock. I inquired at the register and was told that not only do they offer soy milk but you could also get your drinks with almond or coconut. So, I purchased it with soy… the first time. The next time I ordered it with almond and on my third visit I requested, you guessed it, coconut. Each version was super creamy with just the right amount of cinnamon and spice. This drink was enough to drive me to searching the internet for my own homemade frothing devices. I wanted to replicate it at home that bad. I ordered a hot chocolate, all regular, for the wife and also picked up a gluten free/vegan trail mix cookie with peanut butter, coconut, dates and chocolate. J-Fur, it pains me to say this, preferred Starbuck’s hot chocolate because it is «more chocolatey.» As far as the cookie went, it was soft and moist. I couldn’t believe it had no dairy in it. J-Fur echoed that sentiment when she tore a small crumb from my steel grasp. Cornerstone Coffee offers regular food like sandwiches, bagels and other assorted breakfast items. It also serves hand dipped ice cream and tea. The coffeehouse conducts cooking classes periodically throughout the month. Basically, this place does it all. Coffeehouse does not give justice to everything that is happening within these four walls. So what’s in it for those of us who reside in Tampa? Nothing. The coffeehouse doesn’t ship. I inquired. So from now until next Christmas, if you catch me sleeping with a smile on my face, you’ll know what I was dreaming about. Gingerbread chai.

Cornerstone is among the better coffee shops you’ll find outside of the top tier shops in Harrisburg and Lancaster cities. With a full coffee menu, this upbeat eclectic café is a nice coffee oasis in the suburbs. For breakfast, I recommend to pick a nice muffin or scone to pair with their daily variety of 4 – 5 different coffee offerings. Whether meeting a friend or catching up on some work(free Wi-Fi), I would certainly pay Cornerstone another visit.

Great place to stop for lunch or to meet up to talk with a friend. I HIGHLY recommend the chick pea and feta salad(AMAZING)! I’ve also enjoyed several of their beverages including lattes, italian cream sodas and hot teas. This place is a gem. The only drawback is that it feels a little«stuffy».

Good food selection, including some gluten– and dairy-free options. The English Breakfast colds tea is quite good. I’m glad I got to try the baked oatmeal, but I won’t be having it again. The music selection is varied and upbeat… I’ve heard recent hits as well as Eric Clapton/Cream. I’ve been twice in three days and would happily return again if I come back to the area.

Well the cookie was good. Some oat nut thing that was gluten and dairy free. It was good because it was underdone in the middle… Super gooey… Too gooey. Like eating raw dough gooey. If it was cooked properly it would have been great! Also ordered the strawberry lemonade. Not a single bit of strawberry in it. Red food coloring and strawberry flavoring. Really?! It’s summertime in PA, get some strawberries! It wasn’t sweet, and didn’t taste like strawberry. Just bitter lemon water. Also, the kitchen area is super dirty! The counters were filthy, the wood cabinets look like they are coated with a layer of dirty grease, the ice bin looked like it came out of a 1950’s travel trailer… Can only imagine the mildew in that! The sink to the right of it was just as dirty! I mean seriously, you have a kitchen that is open to the public, act like it, take pride in it, and clean it up! Soft scrub much?

Cappuccino and housemade biscotti are a perfect pair. The biscotti is chewy and sweetened with tart cranberries. The shop has a nice laid-back feel with nooks to sit and read. The magazine share-rack is perf: architectural digest and Bön appetit. Lovely staff left out samples of the house blend to taste.

This place was awesome. They have everything from sandwiches to ice cream and gourmet pretzels. I bought a ummus sesame bagel and had yankee doodle beans to go. Their service was friendly and they have cooking classes in the back room. Very nice and cozy shop. It was elbow to elbow because they had a large crowd when I stopped in and were still smiling at the register. great place.

I’m at this local coffee shop all the time. I’ve never had a bad experience with drinks or food, and my go-to items are straight-up coffee(they have lots of fun flavors to choose from at the serve-yourself bar), cranberry oat bars and baked oatmeal. The ambiance is spot-on with comfortable chairs(if you can snag them), lamp lighting, fresh flowers and natural light. It’s also nice to sit outside(I bring my dog) when it warms up. I enjoy the weekend music as well and have been surprised by the quality of the performers. I’ve also taken a cooking«class» here before and while the food was delicious, it wasn’t what I expected. It’s a demonstration class, not hands-on(which is what I was hoping for). I did learn some things and enjoyed a nice meal, but you can find hands-on classes in the area for less(namely, the Kitchen Store in Carlisle). The baristas have never been overly friendly – not rude, just not very interactive as you’d expect after going regularly for a year. Still, that won’t stop me from making this a regular haunt.

An avid Starbucks fan, when I’m in the Harrisburg area I opt for this place instead. Great local ambiance, friendly staff, and fabulous coffee. Try the honey-vanilla latte. Also, bring cash – they have a 10-dollar minimum on credit.

Well, I guess I unintentionally found the local Saturday morning hangout spot. If true, then these people are smart. I needed my morning fix before hitting the road and Cornerstone Coffeehouse certainly delivered. First I decided on a Pumpkin Chai latte(gotta get all the pumpkin flavors in before they’re gone) and then saw the iced cinnamon buns in the display case. Well, somebody had to eat it, especially after it was warmed up. Both were excellent. As I enjoyed my morning treat at a table near the window, I noticed the constant foot traffic coming and going by numerous locals kicking off the weekend by grabbing their morning coffee to-go or meeting up with friends at one of the numerous café tables. The morning rain kept everyone inside, but sitting at one of the outside tables during better weather would also be ideal. Another great, small town find right across the river from the state capitol.
