Napoli’s Pizza

Used to be great… however the owner got lazy and apathetic about his own business. He has no respect for the customers and that’s reflected in the lower quality of the food & service.
He is getting older and is just trying to cash out before he closes down. Therefore, the prices have gone sky high and the quality of ingredients has plummeted.
It’s a real shame because this place used to be a staple establishment of the community.

I’ll preface this review with saying that I am Italian and have extremely high standards when it comes to pizza. I didn’t realize that when I moved from nyc that finding decent pizza would be such a struggle. We ordered a plain pie and a couple slices of Buffalo chicken. The plain was just okay. The dough tasted stale so I didn’t even bother trying the crust. The Buffalo chicken wasn’t even edible. It literally had the consistency of cardboard and tasted just as bland as I would imagine cardboard to be. Seeing as this place was so well reviewed, I think I have given up my search for decent pizza in rockland.

Not the best regular slices but their specialty slices are the bomb. Buffalo chicken is amazing their pepperoni mozz or sausage mozz roll ups are always fresh and delicious. The staff is so friendly and conversational making you feel like you’re talking to family!

Great food selections and fast delivery always. Prices are reasonable in my opinion for take-​out/​delivery. Portions are generous. When ordering a pasta dish for instance, It’s enough to split with my husband and toddler. You must try their shrimp scampi pizza which is amazing. Staff is very friendly too. Would recommend this restaurant to family/​friends.

Pizza is good especially specialty slices plain slices are average not the best good place tho!

Love love love this place!!! Best specialty pizzas I’ve had. Their staff is very friendly (Except for a rare few). If you go there you must get the shrimp scampi pizzas mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Pizza is good not the best in town but definitely good ny pizza. Oddly enough the Italian dishes are great! One of the best scaparello I have ever had hands down and I have been in the ny metro area my whole life.

I have to agree with the claim of best buffalo chicken pizza. I had one years ago and thought it was excellent. I recently had one and it had not changed. All the other pizzerias that have a buffalo chicken pizza make the mistake of putting tomato sauce under they cheese. Napoli’s leaves the sauce off and that makes all the difference!

Ordered from Napoli’s a few times over the summer for lunch. My co-​worker ordered the tomato, mozzarella salad and I liked it so much that I ordered it a few times for myself. I added grilled chicken to the salad as well. Very yummy! I also tried the ziti slice — which was ok, lots of cheese on top.

the best buffalo chicken slice in the world, i don’t care what anyone will ever tell you… get your hands on this. the spice is perfect, the chicken is well cooked and plentiful, and the cheese is melted so perfectly its hard to believe. i could eat it daily.

Never mind the pizza, try the entrees as take out! the portions are enough for two easily! Sunday I ordered the Chicken Francese and it was abslutely delicious. Two Thin, tender slices of chicken over perfectly cooked penne! Salad and garlic knots are a bonus. You wont be disappointed. Try it. Very reasonable prices. They even deliver…

Their regular slice is nothing to write home about but their true talent lies with the specialty slices. My favorite is the fresh tomato and mozz slice — I’ll never know where they find such tasty fresh tomatoes all year round, but it ranks as my favorite slice of all time. Grab some pepperoni knots while you’re there. That combo has never disappointed!

i love this place!!! CHICKEN RONI is the best slice i’ve ever tasted in my lifee!!! i wish there was a napoli’s in california! shoot… i wish california had pizza like NEW YORK! if its anything that i miss about NY its the CHICKEN RONI SLICE from NAPOLI’S!!!

A pretty solid pizza place that has some yummy specialty slices. Definitely go for the buffalo chicken pizza while you’re here along with an order of garlic knots.
I will warn you though, if you’re on a diet you may want to stay away from their specialty slices. I felt like I just dipped my hand in melted butter after I finished eating one of their slices.

This is the pizza shop I compare all other pizzerias to when I walk in the door. They know their customers on a first name basis, whether you’re 16 or 60. I haven’t been in in about a year and they recognized me and they knew my order when I walked through the door. They’re pretty good about this and will usually toss a slice in the oven as you walk in, and lastly, I was raised on this pizza. Definitely, twice a week pizza shop here. Try the buffalo chicken, or even grab a ziti or chicken parm slice for kicks. All of them are heavy hitters and will leave you happy and full. Plus, the staff here is great, and you can usually catch them clowning on each other and yelling about the Yankees.

HA! I remember this place from High School. I remember the BBQ Chicken pizza. That was some good pizza. Yum. No one here respects good BBQ chicken pizza. It’s usually healthy this and healthy that and let’s put avocadoes on everything (OMG I LOVE AVOCADOES! OMG I CAN’T BELIEVE I SAID OMG!), and I can respect healthy, but what I can respect more is BBQ chicken pizza. And plain pizza. Yeah. That works, too. Pepperoni.
Sometimes we’d get slices after school. We? We who? I wish I knew. People I hung out with in high school. My high school sweetheart. I remember going here once or twice with him. And the girls! Ah the memories. Junk food and all that…
Still. This pizza is tasty… or was… back when I was at South. Hmmm… oh lord… that was like six years ago. Shit. STILL. How much can a place in New City change? Erm… right?
