Rita’s Italian Ice

If you go there at night, after dark, make sure you bring a flashlight with you so you can read the list of flavors menu. Stopped there Sunday evening about 8:45 and the outside lights were out. One might have thought the placed was closed but there was a flashing OPEN sign in the window and three customers standing at the window. There was only ONE person working the window while others were «behind the scenes» but you could hear them all carrying on and laughing. Service was incredibly slow… it took about 10 mintues before I was waited on (the party of 3 ahead of me ordered 6 different types of treats… all complicated orders evidently). Ritas is usually worth the wait. But this particular location was poorly managed. They didn’t even bother to turn on the lights and they didn’t have as many flavor choices as some of the other locations I’ve been to. I’d visit again, ONLY because it’s a Rita’s. But if anyone associated with this joint reads this… please talk to your employees about providing better customer service in a well-​lit area so people can actually read the menu. Thanks!

Worst service! The employees were too busy goofing off with other teenage customers and ignoring everyone else-​the employees need adult supervision!

need to have more green tea on hand more often :)
