We enjoy going to Applebees occasionally this Applebee’s happens to be close by.

Went for a late dinner this past Friday night and the staff was so polite and welcoming. Our server was great, the restaurant was clean and our food was quick and delicious. I underestimated this location but we will certainly be back!

This location is in front of a Walmart. Very very busy. Staff isn’t super friendly. Found the hosts to be standoffish. Staring down customers. Very unsettling. If I were easily Intimidated it would have bothered me. Not a fan!
Our waitress was awesome. Never gave her name. But she was great!

I have been needing to update my review because my last experience was the complete opposite of my visit before that.
I was at the bar. There were a few regulars there and one had a problem with his meal. The manager seemed agitated and angry. I almost left but decided to stay for my meal.
I should have left. My steak was under cooked and baked potato wasn’t cooked entirely so I asked to send it back. The manager accused me of ganging up on him with the other customer
who had a complaint??? I told him that was not how business is done and he said «if you don’t like it, then there’s the door» I was shocked. I paid for my beer and left. Along side about 7 regulars
and others at the bar. I saw Two of the guys I was seated next to that night out at Chilli’s and they said they had been visiting the Appleby’s for a couple years and spent an average of a $ 1,000
every month there but because of what happened, have not returned.
Upper management needs to do something about that «and I’m sorry to say this but» he was an Asshole!!!

I stop here once in a while when I go to visit my family in VA
On the way home and after driving for 4 hours I stopped here.
I order a meal which came with a salad. I forgot to ask them to omit the croutons and when I asked Tim to give me a new salad because I have a allergy to wheat he said just take them off
I apologized and asked for a fresh one.
He came back with what I thought was a new salad but once I dug in found crumbs…
Make sure you let them know you have an allergy because they don get it
Otherwise a predictable good meal

Disgustingly, ill prepared food! I went one night for the pepper seared steak over grains and spinach and it was so salty and wilted and I asked for my meat to be medium rare and it was instead medium ineatable! Not to mention I’m pregnant and this was an evening craving gone bad! So I called the next day and the manager I spoke to about my terrible food experience was semi nice but had an attitude like I did something wrong for complaining. I ordered something else I suppose as a compensation along side a kids meal for my kiddos, and when I came to pick it up the fries were old and limp, and he came out to have me sign for the kids meals and I mentioned the fries not seeming fresh, and his response was «I mean it’s take out!» What?! So does that imply that I should expect a lower food quality from take out food? Absolutely not! If so, the prices should be nearly free with an appropriate disclaimer to expect a lower quality of food. Not to mention my replacement meal’s steak was yet again tough and horribly seasoned. The sides were less than appetizing to top it off! I will not be patronizing this establishment again. Beware of low expectations, and sub par food.

This place gets one star they need to replace the whole staff me and my friends have labeled this place as super ghetto, some servers are nice I guess but there’s no structure, management doesn’t know how to compensate for horrible service, I’ve been to other applebees and it was not like this, I would suggest new management. And If you’re looking for even a little bit of class don’t come here.

My wife and I went to happy hour at Applebees after a long day of work to be completely disappointed in the appetizers. The boneless hot wings were fried too hard, the chicken in the wonton tacos were dried out, the nachos looked and taste like they were thrown together. We told the waitress with no satisfaction. Again very disappointed.

I don’t know why this place gets such bad reviews? The wait staff are super friendly, very quick, and the food is always good. Why would you expect a top notch steak for $ 12? I always order a salad or a burger here, and I’ve never been let down.

what’s the problem with guy and the hostess standing next to him taking an take out order with «NO MEAT»… THE lady in a very subtle tone and making a face like, OMG, «NO MEAT»… Am just ordering what I want… what’s their problem… I did not ask for free or beg either… I am payingon for the food that am eating … bad attitude… on top of it, the guy taking the order, shushed her… still she was going on saying about, NO MEAT… MY GOD… making a big scene about it… dammit… am not going back to that bar again… will never really recommend to anyone… what so funny being a vegan? worst hospitality ever… she shud be fired… I had really contained myself and decently left immediately from the bar… worst bar ever…

Not impressed at all with my meal. I ordered the steak and it was very tough. When the waitresses asked how our meal was after we were through and I said the same, She said oh, that’s a shame. We won’t be returning their anytime soon.

I like to go to this location for karaōke. The drink and food like any other Applebee’s. The bartender was very nice she was on top of her tip game. I will go back again for another dose of drunk singing.

After going to Friday’s and being advised of an hour wait time, I phoned Applebee’s which was a few minutes away. The gentleman who answered informed me their wait time was currently 20mins for our party of 12. I was unable to put my name on a call ahead table so we dashed over. Upon arrival, we noticed a few parties waiting. I proceeded to the hostess’ desk to put our name down…“it’ll be about 45mins to an hour wait” the young lady says. I advised her that I JUST phoned no more than 5 mins ago and was told the wait was 20 mins. OK, this was signal number one. I put our name down and scanned the room. I counted exactly 6 tables that were empty and could have accommodated the smaller parties that were there and who had already waited at least 30 mins (we found this out after they started to hear me complain about our wait time and the empty tables I saw) The hostesses were not pleasant and offered us, the customers, no sympathy. They all just looked at us as if they didn’t really care whether we left or not. Or maybe they were giving us a sign that we should just run for the hills. Then we overheard the manager say the kitchen was backed up. So now we have a 45 min wait for a table and then another 45min or more wait for the food. Again the voices of the hungry parties raised. The manager seemed to care less and offered nothing, not even a plate of warm nachos as we sat and stared at the empty tables. It became too frustrating for our party, we called another restaurant and they, unlike this unprofessional, slow, and incompetent one, gave us an accurate wait time, STELLAR customer service, and great FOOD!
I wouldn’t recommend this particular location to my worst enemy.

The food seemed re-​heated from a microwave and the manager on duty is not very personable. After getting the food re-​ordered, I just threw it away when I got home instead of eating it. All of the other Applebee’s in this area have better food and better customer service than this establishment. I will not be going here again!

Just had lunch there, slow poor service, server didn’t have any menu knowledge, took us an hour and a half to get in and out. i ordered the soup and salad, the soup was cold the salad was good. The person i went with ordered the fajita and it was hot. They also only have pepsi products, which was disappointing to me a huge coke fan :-)

I rarely go to Applebee’s and there is a good reason why. I had no problems at all with the restaurant and the service but food portions are decidedly on the small side for what I’m paying at a chain restaurant. I had the quesadilla burger, which was good but small for $ 9.49.
This Applebee’s is in the Walmart shopping area off US-​40 near the US-​13/​US-​40 split. Applebee’s has its own section of the parking lot so shopper parking should not interfere.

Good prices, great tasting food, portions aren’t too big though. great lunch specials. Friendly staff just very young. Love karaōke thursdays. Lotsa fun. good late night deals tooo!
