We were in town to check out a band at the Hard Rock that night. Since REO was in town, the place was a CLUSTER. My go-to dining venue, The Buffet, was packed, so we decided to have dinner at the Hard Rock instead.
I honestly kind of dreaded eating there due to the low ratings on Unilocal,but since it was convenient, we went anyway, and guess what? I wasn’t disappointed! I ordered the prime rib and DH ordered the burger. Both came out cooked just as we’d requested: medium rare for me, and medium for him. The food was the appropriate temp, and the beers were cold. The only other thing I could’ve asked for would be more personable bartenders. We ate at the bar and they didn’t say much beyond asking what we wanted to drink. No Hi, how are you? Enjoy your dinner! Or even, Thank you, we hope to see you again! It’d be nice to know our business was appreciated.

Went here with my fiancé and my parents for a dinner while visiting the Four Winds Casino for my birthday.
I ordered The Texan pulled pork sandwich. Overall I was very pleased with my meal. It had plenty of flavor and wasn’t too messy as pulled pork sandwiches can sometimes be.
Their menu seemed fairly basic, but it’s likely because it’s a restaurant chain.
I’m giving it 3 stars because of how slow the service was. It seemed like we waited a longer than average time for our waitress every time we needed anything.
I may eat here again, only because there’s not a lot of options near the casino.

I ordered a steak rare. It came out to be medium well and very dry. Tasted horrible. I didn’t send it back cause I’m always afraid they will spit on the food. The food used to be good here but seems like the quality of the food is going downhill. The staff has always been friendly. I probably will never go back because if u can’t cook a steak correctly and for the price you pay for it, it’s not worth going back. Go to the timbers restaurant next door, the food is pretty good there.

Wonderful! The band tonight was top notch; food was great; always had a drink; no kids allowed after 9 — if you think anywhere else in New Buffalo is as much fun you haven’t been here!

typical hard rock café experience… standard industry menu… nothing that stands out to be great but not a bad either… food and staff ok… the best part of the experience is being able to see some really cool entertainment memorabilia up close and personal without the crowd… i chow down vietnamese tacos next to johnny cash’s denim jacket and guitar… how cool is that?

Horrible waitress!!! Was upset that she didnt place the plate down on the table! Handed my plate of food to place down on my own. Ok i can handle it, but when she expected the 80 yr old grandpa at the next table to handle his plate I became livid! The plates are heavy and he was shaking and almost dropped it. Train your waitstaff better!!!

Who knew that in the back of this place was a hard rock café with outside dining and live musical entertainment!!! Not me!
It was a beautiful day made more beautiful by the setting and hospitality. The server forgot the dessert course of our «pick 3» special — but it was made right quickly. Hard Rock is not my favorite experience by any means whatsoever, but if it’s a nice day and the live music is going on take a ride on a pleasant experience outside!

Excellent service! Seated right in front of the live musician for the evening, and our waitress managed to serve us before the other party of 12 that sat nearby. Thank goodness for her!
The food was excellent – BBQ for me and Fajitas for her. We enjoyed the three course dinner for $ 20 and still think it is the most affordable meal by comparison. Great for a nice relaxing night out!

Took mama here for our Valentines dinner and had their Valentines special. It was a appetizer (spinach/artichoke dip topped with crab meat) it was good just not as warm as we would like. A choice of soup or salad, we chose the soup since it was french onion. It was ok… I’ve had better… A filet mignon, it was ok, cooked right but hardly any flavor. Came with candied vegetables. .those were good!!! We agreed that the best part of the whole meal was the desert… now that we are talking about it, I should’ve took a picture of it. It was a half moon of I think chocolate mousse with assorted fruit around it with chocolate drizzled all over the plate. Awesome!!! The service was ok. We’ll probably go back.

For the quality of food it was definitely overpriced. Waitress seemed inconvenienced when I returned my bad tasting $ 9.00 drink. Took awhile to finally get a beer after being told they were out of a couple of flavors for our drink. They were out of tomatoes and other ingredients for a salad and the substitute was unsatisfactory. The manager asked us very nicely if everything was ok. We told her about our problem and she took $ 5.00 off our bill which I thought was great. She was the only positive of our evening. The dinner was ok though the chicken tasted old but the ribs were ok and did like the bbq sauce. Left hungry. It really wasn’t that busy as it was Christmas Eve, just had to wait too long for the whole service. Won’t go back!

I went out to Southwest Michigan for the day with my sister and we wanted a place with a fun atmosphere to hit up for lunch. This was just perfect. If I’m visiting a town with a Hard Rock Café, I tend to stop in regardless… I’m a fan of this chain, I like to check them out because they’re all different.
Late Monday afternoon this place was dead… we checked out the little store at the entrance, then sat down for lunch. We both got the «Trio» for lunch which includes an appetizer or soup or salad, a full entrée, and small dessert for $ 20 and it was perfect… definitely hit the spot!
We were in and out… service was decent and food was good too.
If I’m at the casino again I’d most likely stop in here again for some eats.

Traveling from Missouri to Michigan in one day, we arrived hungry and tired. I don’t know what it is, but I love Hard Rocks and try to go to as many as I can all over the country. We sat down, ordered a beer, but then got told that the menu was a late night menu so there were limited offerings. In a casino with many other food options in the same building, this surprised me. Nothing on the menu sounded good and I was disappointed the item I wanted (a sandwich, nothing fancy) wasn’t able to be ordered. We ended up drinking our beer and going next door. We did get some cool swag at the store though.

Lot of negative reviews on here:/ First time coming here, service was quick and food came out within 15 minutes. Had «The Texan» and it was absolutely delicious. Would recommend this restaurant 100% for quality of food, speedy service and awesome décor!

There is an awful lot of self-appointed «sass» and «attitude» here. We had the «tiny tornado» help us out. She was «tiny» but not very «tornado». They have some real b-team memorabilia. Please keep your Kid Rock and Prince stuff in storage — no one cares.
The food is C — at best, even the appetizers are bleh. But don’t worry they can still get you drunk enough to forget how bland their food is.
In summary, its a missable part of an otherwise fun casino.

This place is really pitiful.
From the fake-friendly female servers, to the poor quality of food coming out of the kitchen, there is no compelling reason to go here ever again.
And as for a Hard Rock, a more boring collection of rock history could not have been assembled. An obvious statement of what corporate really feels about this locale.
Sorry all you hopefuls looking for a enjoyable meal. Look elsewhere.

Checked into the casino late and all I really wanted to do was walk into the restaurant and look at the memorabilia. I had an iced tea in my hand and at first they weren’t going to let me come and walk around. WTF?! They had stopped serving food and was only staying open for drinks…
I said I wasn’t going to drink, just look around because I would be gone in the AM by the time they opened.
There was a discussion between the hostess and another employee and then they decided I could come in but not with my iced tea.
By this time I decided to say F it and walked out. There weren’t that many people at the bar, it was a Sunday night, I couldn’t figure out what the big deal was.

So I knew not to get the burger from the reviews…
I had the appetizers and drinks which was very tasty. Service wasn’t bad considering it was very crowded and the Sunday football game peeps were there. Our server was very nice and apologized when she felt we may have waited too long for her to return. The prices were reasonable for what we ordered… nothing bad about my experience at all.
Not really a gambler, but if I was at Four Winds again this would be my first choice for eats.

OK so Saturday night, no wait, some good stuff to look at on the walls…
Is this experience worth $ 100 for 3 people, no. The food was less than average American fair and the drinks were weak.
Reasons it got 2 stars instead of one: good staff that was engaging to talk to and the older people had a decent ‘when music was good’ music conversation with our teenager as a result. The only reason this place is worth going is to educate those who believe today’s music is original or inventive. It is like a cultural museum with food.
