I have visited this business several times and was not impressed with the customer service. The people seem very unethical and inconsiderate. After recent events, I would not recommend this business. I seriously question this establishment due to their integrity. They have recently been found not to be paying taxes. I cannot support an institution that deliberately tries to defraud the American people.

If you’re in the mood for sweets this place has the best cakes, cookies, breads you name it… Everything is good and their dark bread with cranberries and walnuts is to die for! I’m addicted I buy it all the time!!! Forgot to mention… their selection of cakes seems to be bigger towards the weekend…

A little up in the air about this bakery. So so authentic polish that the women working there did not speak a word of English. We went at 5:00pm on a Saturday and they closed at 7:00pm. Then door was locked from the inside and the women would let people in when she looked at them. Maybe a high crime area but not sure. You needed to be unlocked to get out of that same door. We didn’t know what to order as there were no prices, labels or anyone to tell us anything. There were large pieces of cakes and some type of strudels and we wanted a slice of a few to go but the women would only cut a chosen few. Got something else almost like a hot crossed bun with a tiny tiny dab of jelly inside. The apricot strudel thing was very good. There were breads but we did not know what they were. I would love to see a few signs just telling you what you are purchasing. Prices for our apricot strudel and the bun thing was very very reasonable at $ 4.50. I will research some of these pastries and go again.

Everything they have is excellent and the prices are even better. The staff are genuinely good people and they appreciate every order. The coffee cake tastes straight out of Europe. Best Polish bakery in CT.

Good or not, I will not return. I came in person to place and pay for an order on a Tuesday for Saturday. Returning on Saturday at the time promised I waiting in line for ONEHOUR with everyone else who was just picking out what they wanted that day. Nothing is worth that lack of customer service.

I came inside hoping to buy some polish cheesecake all though there was a lot of flies i didn’t really care. There was a line, after waiting 8 minutes i was finally first, instead of taking my order the woman there started to take the person’s behind me, who came after me, I was sort of annoyed and then after he left i was just ignored, so finally i said something. i received my slice and left, i really didn’t enjoy being ignored like that though.

I made yet another visit to Kasia’s this past week and picked up a few favorites and 2 individual servings of lasagna. The lasagna was anything but traditional yet it tasted wonderful when reheated for our dinner. Dessert later in the evening was individual portions of tiramisu that melted in our mouths. The following morning I gently brought a pair of cheese filled crepes to room temperature and made a wonderful, if I do say so myself, banana and rum sauce. As soon as my waist line returns to normal, I will be heading back.

Being of Polish ancestry, I enjoy shopping Broad Street, New Britain. With Easter Sunday in a few weeks, we always plan a trip to «Little Poland» a few days before the Holiday, and shop Kasia Bakery for the absolute BEST poppy seed torte, prune pastry, cheese babka and pampushky available anywhere. There’s usually a line out the door, but the wait is worth it. Locals know this is the best bakery in CT for Polish breads and sweets!

Top-notch Polish bakery. My family has been coming here for years. You can’t beat the value here. Everything is fresh, made from scratch and tasty. The staff does not speak English very well and may come off as unfriendly to some. Nevertheless, personally, I’ve never had a problem. Cash only.

Me and my sister woke up and were looking to eat something but, not fast food. So we randomly stopped at this place and we didn’t regret it. The service was very friendly and the food was very good. We bought a lot of food for a little bit of money. We will definitely be coming back to this place.

Love their pastries! Great birthday cakes too. Love going in there, except around the major Polish holidays– I have seen lines going out the door and onto the sidewalk. This is when my wife goes in to get the sweets. Yes, she likes their pastries even more than I do.

Cute little bakery on the Broad St strip of mini Poland. There were fresh baked pastries, cakes and such everywhere. Paczki and potato pancakes as well. Hard time speaking english staff but she was trying. Cash only.

This is a very authentic Polish bakery, right down the street from Polmart. Everything is made with real ingredients. No preservatives are used and the pastries and cakes they produce are heavenly.
