Villanova’s Pizza

Very good pizza! We had the pepperoni (doubled) and the Mexican. Crust is very nice, slightly sweet, crunchy yet chewy inside. Sauce has a slight sweet taste also, very good, calms down the acidity of the tomato sauce. The flavors of both pizzas were great! We are in town for 2 months, yes we will order again! Also, told us 45 mins for delivery, but arrived in a little less than 30 mins. You have to order @ least $ 15 for delivery.

Just moved to town and this place is a couple blocks from me so I thought I would check it out. Did not disappoint! Delicious! They will be definitely be getting a lot of my business.

Love this place… quaint, family owned and the best combos and prices anywhere in town. I love the house favorite and the Mexican pizzas. Both are a tad spicy and not greasy. The crust is not the best I’ve had, but it’s decent. Much better than your average chain brands and not overpriced like some other local joints. I’ve been there a few times and have never been disappointed. If you like good pizza with a kick or not try them out. I’m surprised more people haven’t raved about them as they deserve the praise.

What can I say, MY FAVORITE pizza place in town. I’m a big supporter on small family business, this place takes the Throne. The pizza is amazing great quality for the price. The Owners are the sweetest most humble people, I feel like I’ve know them for years. Everytime I call & ask for marinera sauce they know right away who it is & say «Would that be all for you today Karina» I can’t help but giggle, one time I went a month without going (went out of town) the fact they still remember me & my order meant a lot (the little things is what counts). The environment & energy is great too that’s the first thing I notice. So of course when we have a big group/​party, or I’m off craving pizza of course I order from them, & EVERYONE loves it & ask where the pizza is from. Always support family businesses, take my money. Worth the try ladies & gentlemen I promise

Ordered the House Special and the hot wings — YUMMY! I normally don’t eat pizza crust because it has no flavor, but WHOOHOOO was I surprised! Great crust!

WOW WOW WOW! Amazing pizza, AMAZING prices. HANDS DOWN– BEST pizza in town! A little hard to find at first but you won’t forget the location once you eat that pizza. House Special is delicious and their Meetza Pizza is yummy to for the meat lover in the family. Wish they were open everyday. Fast Fast service!!!

Ordered the house favorite with mushrooms with the honey spicy wings! Perfect! Delivered right to Inn we are staying at for the weekend! Price was great, food was great. What more can you ask for!

Awesome Pizza! The crust is delicious as is the sauce. Delivery service is fast. I think this is the best ‘za in New Braunfels!

Not bad if you like sweet tomato sauce. Delivery was very fast. Ranch dressing is good.

Don’t be fooled by the appearance. One of the best pizza joints ever. Not overly expensive and super hot.

We were visiting from Dallas and decided after a long day on the Riverwalk we did not want to go out so izza it was. I don’t like pizza Hut or Domino’s so we found this place. Pizza was really good and cheap! We got a 20″ pizza for like 14.00. My only reason for not rating them 5 stars was the fact I had a horrible time trying to order and the guy on the phone had no idea what the Best Western was. They did find us on the end and the pizza was fab!!!

Great pizza at a great price. It is typically carry out and delivery only but there is some outdoor seating in the back. I love to call before hand and pick it up on my home for dinner.

After reading the reviews I decided to try this place. After almost an hour, my pizza and wings were delivered. By that time the pizza was cold and the wings were a little soggy. I love pizza and can usually eat a lot. I could barely get through the 2^nd piece. It just wasn’t good.

We found out this place doesn’t have seating. It is carry out and delivery only. We were going to leave but two guys told us to try it. So we did. Very glad we did.
We had the house special and ate it in our car. It was fabulous. Crazy way to have date night. Now we are off to find a scrumptious dessert.

Best $ 5 pizza on the planet! Always ready when I get there and they don’t charge for the sprinklins like the chains do! They also serve buffalo wings which are fantastic! Better than the wing restaurants in town in my opinion. The $ 5 pizza means I can afford to feed everyone at work and nobody knows I only spent less than $ 20!

Ok, I still love the pizza don’t get me wrong… However, my family lives in San Antonio and would come to Villanova’s when we would visit New Braunfels and since they decided to get rid of the inside dining and only allow pick-​up or delivery, it’s almost impossible for us to enjoy the pizza (it just doesn’t taste well after a 30 – 40 minute car ride). Boo Hoo Villanova’s– I’m very very sad :(

Not good! Bad crust, Pizza Hut’s crust kicks this place’s a$$, not worth it

The pizza is awesome. The house special is killer, pepperoni, bacon, jalapeño, pineapple, double cheese. I also ordered the BBQ wings, they are very messy but good. We also got the XL pepperoni for the kids. It’s also very good, and they deliver. The delivery was a bit slow but, it was a Friday night so I can’t really hold that against them.

If I were a guest on The Best Thing I Ever Ate: Specialty Pizza Edition, I would be talking about The Mexican. Drop everything you’re doing and order one… STAT.
Let’s talk about the crust first. Crispy on the outside, billowy clouds of bready goodness on the inside.
Now on to the good stuff. Ground beef, bacon, CHORIZO, onions, jalapenos, and double cheese (we skipped the tomatoes). It had just enough sauce, delicious in its own right, to compliment the outstanding topping combination. Each bite of chorizo, was like a Snap Cap (remember those?), a small flavor explosion in your pie hole. The jalapenos were seeded, so there was plenty of flavor, but not a lot of heat, and the amount of onion was spot on. Just order one already…
How else can I convey the flavor?
If Heisenberg made pizza… this would be it.
