I can’t even give this place a star. This place is a disaster! Avoid it unless u have a couple hours for service

Well again I had an amazing breakfast at my favorite Denny’s.
I have friends that like IHOP but OMG! They are so over priced and everything you get is an up-​charge at IHOP.
Denny’s Rules. The staff is amazingly accommodating and friendly.
I got a fruit cup today at Denny’s and it had a full variety of fruits as it should compared to the fruit cup I got at IHOP which was just some nasty looking watermelon and green melon.
See pics attached. And Denny’s gave a much bigger portion for a fraction of the price. Especially if you have AARP Discount.

I gave it one star just because I had to at least give them one to be able to give my review. They don’t even deserve one star. I went with my family the waitress took our drink order then our food order and a family of 5 came in after that they got they’re food way before we did. I started to notice everyone was getting they’re food first. Then waitress comes to give us our food but one by one then last meal she brings out is mine waitress told me that my burger was made with grill chicken and I said no I wanted it breaded. She took it and manager came and said we don’t make it breaded but I will have the cook do it breaded for you. She comes back 20 minutes later and says they cant make it for me by then everybody was almost done with they’re meal and mine wasn’t even being cooked. I was so mad I told the manager never mind I don’t want anything. She did offer me a free meal but by then I was so angry and lost my appetite and I was ready to leave. My boyfriend was so mad he lost his appetite too and handed the waitress his meal and told her he lost his appetite after all that. My boyfriends son asked the waitress for a to go box twice the second time he asked for one we didn’t realized that she picked up his plate and threw his meal away. Then we got charged for a kids meal when it was supposed to be free. I’m never going to dennys ever again even if it’s a different denny’s.

Its my fault that I even chose Denny’s for my family. Quality of food and service are not their hallmarks. This time we didn’t even get the bad food. First a soaked ceiling tile fell onto a little girls leg and they treated it like it was the family’s fault. Then after waiting 20 minutes and watching people get tables who arrived after U.S. I asked and they had crossed out our name without calling us.
We left at that point and know to avoid any Denny’s.

We went for my hubby’s birthday breakfast last Saturday. Had my mom and 2 kids. Was surprised we had no wait even though they seed very busy. Lots of choices and great prices! I went the USA Grand Slam: 3 eggs over medium, hash brown, blueberry pancakes with fresh strawberries and 2 sausage links all for $ 7.99! Hubs had something similar but with banana but pancakes. Kids had jr. Slam, French toast and my mom had the senior’s waffle. I was nervous because the server didn’t write anything down but came back with one question and got it all right! The manager was around filling coffee and food came out quickly. Can’t wait to go back!

let me start by saying that I always enjoy having bfast in Denny’s. today though was my first time in this location and I was a bit surprised by how friendly the staff was! everyone was greeting the customers in such a pleasant way, the place was clean, the servers were attentive and efficient, the food was presented neatly, and the portion was large. hubby and I were so glad to be there and plan to visit again! no need to mention what we ate because in my opinion, most everything on the menu is good.
so stop by this location and you’ll know what I’m talking about :)

My wife and I tried to eat here this morning. No one greeted us. People were in line but no one knew what they were in line for and no staff in sight. This is the second time we have been to this Denny’s and from the looks of it the service hasn’t gotten any better. Will not return.

My breakfast and the coffee was very good, service is over the top. My waitress was very sweet and lovely her name was Elizabeth and she did an absolutely fantastic job, I would suggest you ask for her when you go to this restaurant. Kudos to the management everybody at this location seems to be enjoying their job

Food takes forever to get is almost never hot anymore and what should be cold is usually room temperature the majority of the wait staff sucks however there are a few really good waitresses that being said no matter how good the waitress your food coming out at room temperature is unpleasant. the manager is always apologetic and says that they’re just understaffed that day we gave this place multiple tries and it just doesn’t meet Denny’s standards.

Was serviced burnt food. Service was not up to par either she was a bit rude. Montana was not nice he gave me a free meal for the next time but didn’t offer to accommodate for the burnt food now.
The manager that checked us out didn’t care either and didn’t tell us sorry just took our money and looked down.

Very inexperienced staff. Five waitstaff people plus the manager on duty and still took an hour to get one breakfast plate and didn’t get the order right. Took my coffee cup away to do the refill and ten minutes later had to ask for it back. We’ve been to Denney’s restaurants all over the country and never had this much trouble with service.

We probably picked the worst day of the week to go: Sunday noonish. a crowd of people and it was only a 10 minute wait for 2. the servers weren’t super friendly but it was super busy so I understand. I’d never been to a Denny’s before and this was hands down the best breakfast menu I’ve ever had the experience of tasting. The pancakes were better than the famed Kirby Lane in Austin. The coffee was mehh but our skillet and sandwich were delightful. definitely coming back.

Denny’s New Braunfels is the prime example of how customer service should be in NB! Take notes NB eateries.
We walked in and were quickly greeted with a smile and seated us with light conversation. Our food was fresh and extremely tasty. The value menu is awesome if your looking to eat something light or beast it up. I enjoyed our meal/​service so much that I let the manager know how Duane and Emmanul made our night a special one with their big smiles and kind hearts!

I have to say after getting excited about having a Denny’s breakfast, we were disappointed. We turned up around breakfast time (9ish AM) and they were not busy. The restaurant was dirty, and there was a pool of water leading from the kitchen to the dining area that looks like it had been there a while. Our waitress seemed like she would rather be doing something else (and I guess that is possible), and while the service was okay (coffee was filled at appropriate times) and the food was good, it was not what I have experienced at other Denny’s. Not sure what constructive criticism to offer except that maybe staff should at least pretend to like their job, and the floors should not be the final resting place of crap from the tables.
