Excellent coffee, delicious breakfast tacos and good service. We were very pleasantly surprised to discover this café.

First Time there for my 30th birthday day after breakfast and I thought I enjoyed it. The coffee was great. They made it hot by accident and the lady was super nice and changed it for me no problem. I ordered a bean and cheese. Not your traditionally re-fried Ben and cheese. They where black beans but good either way. The staff was very nice and great customer service. Will come back for sure!

THISISINRESPONSETO Jenne B’s REVIEW: Jenne, this is in response to your tasteless, spiteful review of the Crosswalk Coffeehouse and their«weekend» patrons. Well, I happen to be one of those patrons that you’re complaining about. My friends and I do not frequent the Crosswalk just on the weekends, rather several times a week. We come together to talk about our problems, support each other during tough times, to laugh and to love each other the way friends should. As for me, this is my way to escape the demons of PTSD that I bring home to my personal life. Those heathens help me forget the screams of victims trapped in their vehicles, my failed attempts of CPR to revive the elderly and the cries of neglected children. Your judgements of my friends are contrary to the way you make them(us) look. We are not the disorderly alcoholics that you make us out to be. Some are parents, grandparents, college graduates, public servants, business owners and blue collar workers. Be careful of how you judge others ma’am! I do apologize for the«prodigious exhaust output.» I too am a non-smoker, but I do not judge my friends for their nasty habit! Yes, I often complain to them because I’m concerned with their health, but where do you suggest they go to smoke? After all, they are complying with the house rules of no smoking inside. Again, we are not a «recent development» to the Crosswalk. We have been giving them our business for a long time and will continue to do so. As a matter of fact, our diverse group of 26 visits this coffee shop more than ANYONE else in New Braunfels. This disruptive and impudent group has befriended every employee(past and present), most of the«regulars» and tip better than you or any other weekend warrior that visits. Yet, you are the only one to complain. If ANYONE has a problem we invite them to approach us. We would be happy to make your visit that much more pleasurable. As a matter of fact, if you’re alone and have nowhere to sit, you’re welcome to join us. We have made several new friends this way. You have undoubtedly misjudged us Jenne. There is no reason to give the Crosswalk Coffeehouse a negative review based on their customers. That behavior is simply elementary! Their food is great and consistent, the coffee is always refreshing and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I am asking you to give them the four-star review they deserve from you.

This is the best coffee shop! I just love the small town charm and friendly staff. My coffee was perfect and my breakfast of a scrambled egg bowl was awesome. What a great way to start your day. Thanks Crosswalk. I’ll be back!

I prefer Crosswalk to New Braunfels Coffee(right next door), mainly for their food options. A solid bacon, egg and cheese taco, excellent salsa. My husband opts for their breakfast burrito. Normally, I’d give 4 stars. Lately, however, our weekend visits with the family have been marked by the large group of loud, smoking patrons on the front deck. Their prodigious exhaust output makes it impossible to share the space with non-smokers, and they sound as though the previous night’s bar conversations are continuing in daylight hours. We have to move our kids elsewhere, even if we arrived first. It’s a recent development, and one I hope management will address. If not, there are plenty of other local coffee options available. I hope this crowd spends enough to make the loss of business worthwhile. Consider it a 2-star option if you visit on the weekend, but a 4-star option if that issue is resolved.

I’ve been back several times in the last year and have to say I’m impressed. Good sandwiches, soups, etc. the Bakery was much improved and consistent.

Despite the quaint atmosphere we did not feel welcome by the service. Felt as though we were a nuisance. Sandwich and coffee were on point but we ended up taking it To go.

Nice little out of the way coffee shop. Beautiful view of gazebo in Main Plz. Playing some really good 60’s music. Jalapeño sausage Kolaches had great flavor and a nice bite. Really good coffee as well. My only dislike is that they don’t have a menu with prices anywhere. They have something outside by door as you walk in but nothing at the counter. They have their pastries out on display, but nothing in marked. They do have a great choice of coffees and teas, even there there are no prices. Even with the negative, I would still recommend this nice little shop to anyone. Come have a great cup of joe with a nice view.

In addition to the good food, I was amazed by the customer service. On one occasion, I accidentally left my credit card at my place of work. Despite being incredibly embarrassed, the staff handled it perfectly and trusted me to come back despite my pleas for them to take some sort of collateral. Good food and a family atmosphere! Will definitely return.

What a great spot! The entrance is reminiscent of Key West. I half expect to see a budding novelist inside hard at work. The staff is lovely. Coffee is fabulous. You must try the breakfast burritos or tacos. Very wonderful spot.

Very laid back place. Good seating and wifi without being a big place. Iced coffee was awesome! Local artist work on the walls and the staff was efficient. Too hot and humid today to sit outside but the space looks very comfortable. The place is a little hidden in a white building with covered porch, and right next to a bigger coffee shop, but don’t pass it up! Go in!

The service at Crosswalk Café is great. The barista saw my empty Nalgene in my hand, and offered to fill it up! Got a gyro for lunch, and was not disappointed. The baked goods also look fantastic, but I didn’t try them. The walls feature cool paintings from a local artist too.

Quaint but a little messy. Very cool music and ambience. Artwork is lovely. Great service. Downside is the coffee was ok, but not remarkable. Definitely a bit pricey.

I’m always reluctant to go to independent coffee places duty to the occasional artsy coffee snob batista. Our family of 6 stopped by today. Not a good place to sit and eat for a party of 6 with small«eclectic» tables and chairs. So we decided to go to another place. On our way out… the smart ass girl behind the counter aaid…“ok…thanks guys”? Not necessary. We visit this town often. .but will never go there…

An addddorable little coffee house. This is exactly the kind of cute spot that I dig hanging out in to work. They’ve got good coffee, fast wifi and fantastic chicken salad. That’s the famous Dennis chicken salad, btw. Though I would have preferred to order it on bread, carbs ya know. So I had it as a salad and loved both the raspberry and balsamic dressings they kindly put on the side. Their prices are reasonable and the service was really sweet. If you’re there for a cuppa and some convo, it’s got enough tables to accommodate. If you’re there to work, you may want to scout out the plugs before plopping down. Though I didn’t look that hard, I only saw one grouping. It’s right off the circle in new braunfels and kind of easy to miss so keep a close eye out. Also traffic circles are confusing as hell and twice as dangerous so be careful while you’re lurching about trying to find it.

What is not to love about this charming coffeehouse. It feels like you are going to a cool friends house for a cup of joe and to relax. My lunch today: the chicken salad sandwich on a perfectly crispy flaky croissant. The dill adds the right amount of complexity without overwhelming the oh so tender chicken. It is super delish! I could hang outside all day long. The town circle like totally reminds me of Orange, California. Great memories.

Cute place to enjoy coffee and get work done. The interior is chic with comfortable seating options(patio too). The coffee didn’t do it for me but they serve up tasty sandwiches, a tad on the pricey side.
