Craven County Regional Airport

It’s really kinda cool to enter and leave through this airport. Number one it’s the closest thing to my parent’s house I can arrange. If you’re coming to New Bern, fly into New Bern. So happy I didn’t try catching the bus from Charlotte to save a buck. I’ve done that five hour drive, brutal, and I wasn’t even driving! So points on proximity.
The second great thing is the airport is small so the wait time is infinitesimal. You can show up at 10am for a 11am flight and still have time for boarding passes, security, and a sandwich. There is nothing beyond the checkpoint but some vending machines, so grab something before.
The third thing that is cool is the plane. Gotta admit I had a bit of a problem at first taking something so small into Charlotte, but as long as I don’t produce a hit record, I figure I’ll be fine.
