I have been going to Captain Frank’s for years now. I like that it’s out of the way from everything. Good prices.

We buy clams often and when we do a huge bash we buy two bushels. This year was the first time we bought them from here and they were by far the best yet. Super clean and fresh. They’ve got our business from now own. Totally recommend trying them.

This is the best in the area. Cap’n Frank’s always has the freshest lobster at good prices. We also get their scallops for sashimi and swordfish steaks for grilling. Awesome! Friendly service too. Closed Mondays. Last year Kylers in New Bedford gave me a dead lobster, and Cape Quality had a painter’s tarp in their lobster tank«due to a little problem with the ceiling»(but they were still selling those lobsters!).

Tucked way away on an unassuming road next to the on-ramp for 195/140, Captain Frank’s is a no-frills fish market that offers up fine local fish selections. The staff is always super-friendly and I’m not sure how they manage to keep the fish so fresh. Drawbacks are location and smallness/lack of décor inside. But these are minor issues only. Fresh fish at a fresh price!
