New China King

This was my first time ordering from here. The girl behind the cashier was very smart and thorough. I give her credit as she has to be only around 11 or 12.
The kung pao chicken was sweet, not spicy. There was more vegetables than chicken in the quart. Since my daughter and I don’t like most of the vegetables, this was not enough to fill us up The rice was cooked well
I probably wouldnt order from here again.

From the very first time I ate here, I was hooked! I love the food from here! I never get the same thing since I like to be a little adventurous and everything I’ve eaten is delicious! As long as I live in this are and as long as New China King is around, they’ll have me as a customer!

IF you get what you actually order here, it is delicious. Give the little girl running that register some credit, she can’t be very old! I know my 11 – 13 yr old could NOT handle what she does! Way to go little girl! Food is awesome as long as the order is correct. Usually it is always mine that gets messed up, my family’s is fine. They will do peanut allergy for my little boy and be very cautious of cross contamination! They are very good!

I love this place! It’s by far the best. I never cared for other Chinese restaurants in town and I was so happy to see a Chinese restaurant closer to my house! My boyfriend and I got take out last night and he loved the sweet and sour shrimp. He said it was the best sweet and sour shrimp! and I ordered the spicy Szechuan bean curd with steamed rice and spring rolls! Everything was delicious and fresh.

Awesome. Chicken was actually almost completely 90% meat and 10% breading. She made several adjustments to prepare food exactly how we wanted it. Super nice lady and lots of food for the money.

Best chinese take out in our area. Cutest little girl at front who is so nice and family is very good customer service. Free food and coupons. Really is a great restaurant wish they had more space for dining room.

We have eaten at New Chins King three times since we noticed it in front of Kroger. It’s the best Chinese we’ve had since moving to New Baltimore from Jackson MS about 7 months ago. We like the sesame chicken, curry chicken, Szechuan chicken, spring rolls and lo mein. The people are friendly and the little girl who takes our order is adorable.

The last time I checked, pad thai is not supposed to be orange, and the special ingredient is NOT BUFFALO SAUCE.

Great quick lunch for under $ 10. Everything was hot and fresh with great flavor. The lobby needs menu boards. Service was quick and friendly. Will be back.

I have lived in the new Baltimore area for 17 years now and this is the best Chinese food that they have around. Hands-​down the best Chinese food in our area. Try either triple delight or their seafood delight.

I am pretty surprised to read the other reviews regarding this restaurant. We usually go to Leongs because it is the only place in the area but the food there is as «Americanized» Chinese food as you can get — lots of breading and sauces without distinct flavors.

New China King is a new carry out Chinese restaurant in Chesterfield/​New Baltimore. In the few months that it’s been open, I’ve tried to give it a fair chance since it is so close to my house.
At first, the food was alright. In the visits since? Not so much. I’m not much into mixing up my order while ordering Chinese. Sesame chicken, fries rice, and an egg roll is my favorite and that’s generally what I stick to. The chicken here is in large chunks. Most of the time I need a knife and fork just to eat it. This normally wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t constantly feel bones in my chicken.
The rice? It’s probably the best thing that I’ve had from there. Not exactly something amazing. Not exactly awful either.
The egg roll? Don’t try them. I’m not one to tell someone not to try something but trust me on this wasn’t. They’re not that good.
Also, their noodles and fortune cookies continually taste like they’re expired. Not fresh by any means. The workers also do not wear any hair nets.
If you have the time, please drive the extra 2 miles and grab some scrumptious Chinese food from Leong’s. You’ll get better food for an even better price.

If I could give this place — stars then I would. We got take out from here about 2 months ago and it was the worst food we’ve had in a very long time. We threw most of it out including the egg rolls which were dripping with grease. Disgusting! My kids like Chinese but if I even mention ordering some from our usual and decent place they say «heck no!» because of the bad experience from this place.

Like other Chinese restaurants the menu is huge! I ordered the sesame chicken combo served with rice and egg roll.
The chicken pieces are pretty huge so you have to fork and knife them. The fried rice is probably the best rice I have ever had! Nice and fresh. The meals are plentiful and you will most likely have leftovers. I wasn’t very fond of the egg roll, which was a huge disappointment for me. The egg roll is made with cabbage instead of bean sprouts so the taste is not the same.

) Fast and friendly staff. Everything is made to order, which is probably the best part.
Mostly a carryout place but a few seats to eat your meal at.
Very clean and prices are great for the amount of food you get.
