It was good. Food is mostly fried and like home style breaded. Portions are plentiful, price is good. Carpet needs replacing.

Great fish at a good price ! I can eat a lot and normally go home hungry after getting fish at other restaurants, but not here ! I always order 2 piece fish dinner and I need a to go box (can’t finish) it !! It’s not the most fancy place in town, but it’s clean and the fish is always good !

One of the best values around. It’s not uncommon to pay $ 8 or more for just a fish sandwich in this area. However at S J we got a whitefish lunch with 2 sides for less than $ 7 each. Whitefish was very good and our side of fried onions were tasty without being greasy. My other side of Lima beans were just OK. We left with two take home boxes of food. Also had fried cauliflower ($ 1.99) for an appetizer. Two lunches with appetizer and two teas less than $ 20 without tip.

Heard this place was good it’s okay but not outstanding good place for a quick fish fix but has no real outstanding food quality. Portions are large and the food was hot. Hush puppies were mushy no real flavor not crispy on the outside just a mush. The value is OK so a fair deal for the portions may even be to much.
