I can’t knit or crochet, but my wife can and as such, I’ve been in a decent number of yarn stores. Grinny Possum was a nice change in that someone actually welcomed us and then had a conversation! So many yarn stores seem like you are intruding by daring to enter and perhaps (gasp!) purchase something. Grinny Possum was great though!
These are the same folks who used to be on Spring Street in Jeffersonville. The building got bought out and it sounds like they got kind of a raw deal. Their move to New Albany is welcomed and I hope that many locals can take advantage of their good selection of national and local fibers as well as the classes offered.
