Sandy is a true artist! My 5 year old got caught in a «sticker bush» which ended in a hair calamity — on top of it the scissors got out of hand — we were practicing to be a hairdresser — well to say the least Sandy saved the day and we now have a hip mod haircut that is as bouncy as my child! Thank you Sandy for making her feel beautiful once again.

I couldn’t believe I found my aesthetic in Nevada City. Sandy herself admitted her style jives more with the Bay Area tourists who come into town than the locals. Loved the aprons, jewelry and nooks and crannies filled with vintage treasures. Can’t wait until her online store launches (check back at

P. S. Her lovely house + retail shop is up for sale…(at least as of mid-​May). If you’re looking to escape the big city for the nicety of the small town and owning your own boutique, look no further.

Who wouldve known that there is a vintage hipster in Nevada City??? I never would have thought!!! This store had items that I usually have to find in SF or boutiques… A wide variety of all goodies an underground Bettie like me loves!!! She had purses, pjs, shoes, aprons, makeup, clothes, classic hardware jewelery, candles, house supplies, everything!!! I wanted to cry!!! I have been a visitor of this town for 3 years and I have never come upon this store! Come to find out the owner is a retired hairdresser, girl after my own heart, and her style just screams it! Thank you for openeing this awesome store! I am coming back with my boyfriends credit card!!!
