My fiancé and cousin had been in town when they were having their President Day parade. We had strolled into this little store(I have a thing for small boutiques) and I just fell in love! There are some of the best hand made items here! They have a bunch of handmade soups, that, I can vouch for, are absolutely wonderful! They last so long, and smell so wonderful. Even sitting there, they made my bathroom smell so pretty! It was close to Halloween, so they had some super cute Halloween decorations up, im sure they do that sort of thing for all holidays. I had purchased quite a few different things. I saw that they had some boot cuffs, that were adorable, and pretty cheap! So I got those, and pretty much have been wearing them every weekend since its been so cold! I got some cute little gifts and cards for a baby shower I was going to; verdict: the mom LOVED them! They have a lot of sure little Mr. + Mrs. stuff for Newlyweds! They have a lot of stuff for baby decoration(NOT for the kids to play with!), they have cards and signs, trays, handmade boxes, and all sorts of cute things! We probably spend an hour in this cute little store, just looking and adding to our basket! I can’t wait until I’m back in town to check this store out again! If you’re in the area, and you like boutiques, then check this one out, you wont be sorry!

OOOhhh! This is a great little place for gifts and stuff to round out you collection at home. What’s here? Custom art work, cards and such, unique home decorations and pretty much everything that will become your favorite things too! The space is super quaint yet not cramped. Prices are well in line, not the sticker shock you may have experienced at «other» specialty shops. This place has soul you can feel. Go there and find out what your new favorite ting may be.

My Favorite Things was the first shop my husband and I stepped into on our day trip to Nevada City. It was also the last one as well after looking at some other shops we once again stopped by and purchased more items on our way back to our car. I love this shop. From the first entereing in it is filled with all the fun and fancifull things I want my home filled with. A touch of french country and whimsy. I just love that it not only was a little gift shop but Tina the owner also crafts many of these items and has Glitter Girl studio hidden behind this shop where she makes little girls dreams come true. You can create Tiaras, name banners and collage charms! Keepsake boxes, wax collage, paper dolls. This ain’t for just«little girls», I want to book a party!!! Come see it looks so fun. Tina was very nice and her website shows a whole other exciting side of her as well like snowboarding! you really have to check it out.
