It appears that Sugarfoots has closed as of November 23 in there Netarts location. Evidently, they are looking for a new place in Tillamook. See the photo for the letter on the door.

This place is awesome. We got oysters to go and they were so good! Really wish they had shirts with the foot emblem on it so we could rep hard back in Portland.

Amazing! Pull over when you see the sign for«homemade food»! I count myself as a food snob and loved the freshness of their food. The small eating space is charming and we opted to eat in rather than take our sandwiches to the beach.

There are not many places for a foodie to enjoy a meal while visiting the coast. Many places serve your typical seafood fare that a tourist demands. These places have inflated prices paired with sub-par food with a sprinkling of parsley to make you believe you got your money’s worth. Now onto this place… There is no better food in the area… period. I had the smoked pork panini with sliced apples, caramelized onions, grain mustard, and provolone cheese — to die for! My boyfriend had the turkey Caesar salad club sandwich which he loved(the sandwich had cucumbers on the bottom layer which he particularly liked). The sandwiches came with one side — I chose the pasta salad for my side and the boyfriend had the fries. I will have to say I was impressed by the food and wish I would have gone here for dinner my first night in Netarts instead of travelling to Oceanside(disappointing). Sugarfoot’s closes at 7pm, so get there in time for dinner. I plan on eating there tomorrow before we leave(hopefully, will put down the food long enough to photograph it). They also had fresh oysters that you can buy by the dozen or the bushel. Cookies looked good and they had other dessert-type options.

If you are in or near Netarts and want to eat, please stop here. This place is ran by locals. And its delicious. Please note they have very little seating so it will also work good as a place to grab and go. I think you’d have to drive over an hour to find any place that was better and cheaper. So don’t pass it up … and if you are in Tillamook, go and try it. Its absolutely worth the drive.

My group of hungry hikers stopped at Sugarfoot’s looking for sandwiches we could take to the beach. The outside is unpretentious, but don’t pass this up. The friendly staff, well crafted burgers, sandwhices, rice bowls, and homemade desserts are awesome for your beach side lunch to go or dine in their cozy seating area. I will definitely be back, this is a great stop.

If it weren’t for my husband, I never would have stopped at this very nondescript looking restaurant… but I’m really glad I did! Great casual, creative, fresh and healthy fare. We’d been staying in Oceanside for a week and we were complaining that there was no where to get a good, cold sandwich(several fine dining options though). Then we discovered Sugarfoots on our last day. Wish we’d discovered it sooner.

Living in a very small town means very limited choices on where to eat. Tried this place for our last staff meeting, and man were we impressed! Not only is their food delicious, but their service is outstanding! They opened up early for us to get our orders completed in time for our meeting, and when I called with questions about their menu, staff were completely helpful(even on my second call) and described the dishes in a very effective manner. I ordered the Veggie-Rice Bowl with Teriyaki chicken skewers and the orzo pasta salad. The chicken skewers were cooked to perfection, and the veggie rice bowl really filled me up! My coworker order the P.B. & A. and shared it with me. Peanut butter, homemade apple butter, apple slices, and bacon. Call me crazy, but it was absolutely delicious. Could be the pregnancy talking… or the fact that anything topped with bacon is a winner in my book. They also sent along cookie jerky(a mint and a regular chocolate kind). This is a must order item!!! So chewy and delectable! Also, the decaf hibiscus tea is so refreshing, and it is sweetened with agave nectar for those of you worried about your sugar intake. I was just happy it was decaf! Nobody carries decaf iced tea these days. Great lunch or dinner option for those who live on the coast, or those just passing through. Can’t wait to try more on their menu!
