Kelli’s Grille & Wing House

Sad Kelly’s went down hill fast. They had trouble putting on the fights we had to ask three times. Also crack glass served to me and slow service.

For a place that claims it is a wing joint forget it not even close to some of the quality wings that are around. A friend had the Ruben and it was like rubber. Definitely a disappointment.

If you are looking for a place to put some beers down and watch sports with your boys… Meh. It would be ok for that. Just have 4 or 5 cold ones before you eat the food. Average at best.
And, put some clothes on the underage waitresses please. If that appeals to you because you like oogling half naked girls… Don’t get your hopes up fellas. They’re not Hooters girls. Unless it was just the B-​Team working the few times I’ve been to this place.

Deffinitly not a fan at all. Came here with my family, ordered a plate of wings as an appetizer a long side of muscle and clams. Waited a riduclous amount of time to recieve the appetizers, which the waitress didn’t even come over and acknowledge the wait until 2 minutes before the apps finally came out. Wings were not good at all, for hot wings they had a weird underline taste, kind of sweet/​tangy? Onto the entrees. I ordered a chicken quesadilla which was absolutely disgusting, they were greasy and the chicken was so gross I couldn’t even take more than two bites. The pico de gallo was also gross, looked not fresh at all. Now I understand Kelli’s wouldnt be the place to have great quesdillas, but I’ve had them at many different restauraunts since I was a kid and never had an expierence like the ones from here. My brother said the chicken fingers were horrible and he couldn’t even finish them, which says a lot coming from a 12 year old boy who eats anything and everything. Deffinitly won’t be coming back.

I give Kelli’s a five star ratings. The wings are the best, meaty, juicy, and filling. I haven’t found a better wing place on the island yet and when I get the cravings it’s Kelli’s that gets my severe all the time… I did stop in for take out once and did dine in once and have not had an issue with service, quality or price. Ordered take out tonight and it was likely the worst meal we ever had. Wings were horrible no flappers only drumetts), ribs seemed to be boiled then barely grilled with little to no sauce. They gave us 6 lame celery sticks with 20 wings. I will never eat here again. Sorry to be so brutal but it was truly horrible and I never post but felt I had too. I threw away ¾ if our group order. Never again!

Came here to watch a football game. The place was a little quiet but the wings were great. They were the best wings (I didn’t try the boneless) that I have had in Suffolk County. They also give you a free house salad for starters which was actually decent. I will definitely come back for some more wings.

I went here Sunday and the wings were half price and really awesome. The only bad thing about this place is having to listen to your girlfriend complain about the clothes the hot waitress is wearing.

I’ve been having a wing craving for the past two weeks! A friend of mine suggested that we stop by Kelli’s – it’s the closest wing place and I thought it was worth a try.
My first time will be my last. BBQ wings cost me 10 dollars for 10 tiny pieces and came out looking like a cut up chicken cutlets tossed in sauce. Tasted even worse. :(I never complain about food – I’ll eat anything – but these were terrible.
So disappointed.

I’m sorry your experience wasn’t as expected, but I personally read the order to you prior to excepting payment and handing you the bag. There were two orders for John yours being 10 buffalo wings and an order of sweet potato fries. The other order which was read and confirmed by you was a burger with sweet potato fries 10 bbq wings and an order of regular fries. Upon your return you very rudely demanded a burger or money back. You had not brought the order back to show us that it hadn’t been correct and as I explained to you how I was sorry you had made a mistake and took the incorrect order but i was surprised that you could have even made that mistake considering it wasn’t even one thing you had asked for. You then told me you got the sweet potato fries which you could not have if you «didn’t» receive the burger as you had said. Lastly you were given another 10 wings for free for being unconvinced and then proceeded to curse out my bartender. Once you were read the order and said yes that’s mine it really was out of our hands that it was incorrect and my staff should never have been yelled at and disrespected like you did.

Not a family place at all! The waitresses dress like hookers! This place is dirty and food was awful! I’m so upset at myself for taking my family here!

Food is terrible. I never thought you can mess up chicken fingers. Ordered chicken fingers and got very thin large chicken cutlets that were border line burnt. I’ve been a time or two before and was disappointed everytime. Never again.

Had better wings in my day… Beer ehhh… The girls are friendly though. Just the place itself could use some work. I got a burger though one other time and it was good.

Ordered take out from Kelli’s on Sunday. Some games on TV and they were busy. Food was good, ½ pound hamburger can be split for two. Country fried wings were okay but the sauces were a little lacking. Not spicy or flavorful enough. I’ll try them again with different choices.

What makes this place a «Wing House?» Is it because they simply have wings on their menu, or because they chose the name? UnilocalBoy says this place should be called «Warm Beer & An Identity Crisis,» because simply having wings doesn’t make you a wing house. They strangely have a Raw Bar (no thanks), Steaks, Pasta and for some weird reason, they even offer pizza. Buffalo Chicken Sandwich on the menu of this «wing house» anywhere? Nope. Strange. The bar itself is amazingly uncomfortable. Whoever this «Kelli» person is seems like she inherited a building and just went with what she had instead of putting money into a slight renovation so the place makes sense. The bar stools are too short for the bar itself and have you sitting uncomfortably lower than you’d like the entire time you’re there, the draft beers are warm (not cool, or cold, but actually room temperature) and don’t come in chilled mugs/​glasses, the bar itself really has no visual liquor inventory other than a few cordials on a random shelf against the back wall and for some reason the girls are dressed like they’re working in a Hooters (not that I’m complaining on that point, but just really makes no sense what they’re going for with that). Good food could make up for all of that but that doesn’t exist here, either. Very average place, lacking a true identity and owned by someone who doesn’t have their heart invested in their own business

For a place that suggests its a wing house, they have no idea how to make wings! I sent my wings back twice because they were so over done. The waitress was a bit annoyed but agreed about the wings. After the second time I decided not to get anything else. My wife had a burger, nothing special, I tasted it and would give it a two. I will never go back here.

Wasn’t happy with my steak dinner. I have to say they have nice employees though. I will not go back again.

So, I tried this place for a second time. Still ³⁄₅ stars.
Not sure why the waitresses dress in clad clothes. I love attractive women but it’s not necessary and makes the place seem a little tacky.
Definitely a sports themed bar with plenty of TV’s to go around including some TV’s at individual booths. I do like this.
Decent sized menu and prices seem decent. Not sure who would get a Porterhouse Steak at a place like this, but I suppose some do and that’s why it’s on the menu.
Many apps to choose from. I can only comment on the wings which are available in 6 – 7 different flavors. All drums were available for a buck more. Wings were decent but not the greatest either.
Service was ok, nothing special. I had to ask for a refill on my soda even though she only had 3 tables to deal with.
Plus, they carry Pepsi here which is a plus.

Funny thing about Kelli’s is that they are always pretty decent– their prices are good, they are fast and friendly and right near my house so its an easy and cheap option to call in and pick up on a busy weeknight when I just want to vegetate in front of the TV after a long day.
I was a bit pissed yesterday (st. Patricks day) when i ordered 2 corned beef and cabbage plates to go– The corned beef was SO TASTY… maybe the best I have ever eaten BUT… for 14.99 a plate, there was very little meat– also the meat was sliced against the grain incorrectly which caused the corned beef to basically shred and fall apart into a pile of tiny bits. Its really to bad because they lose a star for that big time– it tells me they have a really great but very inexperienced chef in the kitchen. That literally would have been the best st. patties dinner of all time had it been a decent portion and sliced correctly. We had to eat again later because the whole plate was basically cabbage and carrots.
Over all on a regular day they have pretty good food, nice specials and great prices. I had been meaning to give them a review– Check out online coupon sites too they always have fun deals on them–

Some of the worst wings I’ve had on Long Island. I ordered the spicy buffalo wings. What I got were over cooked wings with an unpleasant tangy Tabasco sauce with sliced jalapeño peppers over it. I’d expect wings like this if I was in some small town in the middle of no where. When you have Wings In the name of your restaurant, you should be able to execute a decent buffalo wing. Really disappointing.
The selection of beers was pretty weak. They did have Blue Point and Yuengling.
Two stars for the TV picture quality.
This place has a Budweiser vibe. One and done.
