Santino’s Pizza

As regulars we love coming to this local establishment every Sunday for pizza night. Although we enjoy the food, the past several times we’ve been here the cooks have brought their children and allow them to sit in the dinning room while watching children cartoon shows at a high volume. Being in the restraunt business I feel it’s completely unprofessional to one, make your restraunt into a day care, and two, allow the children to take control of the dinning area every weekend. We are paying customers and feel disrespected by the staff who could care less about their guests. Needless to say, we probably won’t be coming back, which is disappointing. We considered asking the staff if we could change the channel or turn it down, but as an established buisness, it shouldn’t even have to come to that point.

Pizza is AWESOME, some of the best around! Coming from a LOCAL. Calamari… ehhhh…rubbery, not so good:-(

While using the women’s bathroom, I discovered a peep-​hole on the door which had perfect vision to the women’s toilet. I am still outraged and totally feel violated. The food was terrible after having such a invasion of privacy. I have no doubt that the hole is used for spying on women using the bathroom. It could easily be fixed or covered with duct tape. I alerted the worker. I’m still really upset. Right outside the door was sodas out of the package directly in front of the peephole, as if to make it seem like a person was getting sodas to disguise the fact they were looking in on the women using the restroom.

Pizza suuucckkss! I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and the grilled chicken they used on the pizza tasted old. As if the chicken pieces were cooked days ago and re-​used now. However. I did also order a «terminator» hot sub sandwich and the breaded chicken that was in the sandwich tasted AMAZING! Chicken from there should of been on the pizza.

Was excited to try this place based on the number of four and five star ratings, but everyone in our party left somewhat disappointed. The place isn’t much to look at and the food was just OK. They do offer a gluten-​free personal size pizza, which is primarily why we came here as my wife is gluten-​free. Again, she felt her pizza was just OK.

So glad this neighborhood gem is so close to my home! The eggplant pizza is fantastic and the entrees are really good. Staffers are always polite and courteous. I usually pick up my order myself through the drive up window (genius!), but on the few times I’ve had delivery, I’ve noticed the driver has been especially nice.

Their Gluten-​free thin crust personal pizza was aaaawesome, and am very impressed!!! I am happy to have found this place offers gluten-​free pizza and any toppings, even eggplants are not breaded which has relieved my concerns. But, this place doesn’t offer non-​dairy cheese, which is too bad. However, I am happy with my GF personal pizza with great and well cooked eggplant slices and thick hearty bacon pieces, without cheese, at $ 9 and $ 2 extra for 2 toppings… Not bad, and I didn’t even able to eat whole 10″ inch personal pie… I had eaten half and save the other half for next day. Please consider to offer Daiya non-​dairy cheese, as this will last long shelve life as refrigerated.

Awesome spot for the league its in. While you may dismiss it for just another pizza joint like I did for the first 10 years Ive lived in the area, I was quickly convinced when I was brought here by my girlfriend’s uncle one day I was working with him. They have really imaginative sandwich specials and their salads are bomb. They never skimp on the toppings on anything and its all just fresh stuff. Plus they have a drive up menu so if you get take out you dont even need to leave the car. Real smart on their part. Oh and their prices and portions are real good for the money. Peep this place out its a cut above many of the pizza joints around here.

I’ve been going there for years. Food is always great. Awesome pies and subs. I recommend the cheese steak sandwich on PRETZEL BREAD!

Great, medium/​thin crust pizza. Generous with the toppings and decent prices. Chicken wings are meaty, served hot, and with an excellent hot sauce and ranch dipping sauce.
Clean, fairly basic, décor. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. What’s not to like?

A real gem of the NJ shore… This place is money, just b4 the bridge to belmar on 35 in Neptune, with way better value than that pete n elda crap. The pizza here is solid and priced well, the sandwiches and other food are awesome too. The terminator sandwich is amazing, and is guaranteed to cure any hangover, even one from a long doing nite of shots at the headliner and watching some anneemals crack it open and shake it down the road at centerfolds… The staff here is quite friendly and willing to accommodate. If only they were open late nite, they d crush it.

I worked by the shore and at least 2 – 3 times a week we order from Pizza Etc. The portions are big and the price is pretty cheap for the amount of food you are getting. And the food is really good too.
They have daily lunch specials as well as their regular menu, board specials and bowtie pasta specials.
And if you order pickup, you don’t even have to leave your car to get your food. You can go through their takeout window and pickup your food from the convenience of your front seat =)
