Totally awesome pies. Find them at the Manzanita Farmer’s market on Friday evenings or give them a call to order one up. LOVE these pies. Seriously awesome. Cherry is our favorite, but only because we found the cherry first and can’t imagine missing out on it when we get the chance.

We’ve been coming to Nehalem Bay Pie for years, when they had their retail location and now out of thier own home-based facility. My family is made up of discerning pie fanatics — and this is really as good as it gets. Order ahead and enjoy!!!

Good news. While the retail shop is closed it appears that you can order pies diectly from Billie and/or go to a local farmers market to get your fix of these outstanding pies. The marionberry pie is stellar. The perfect flaky crust cradling fresh berries that aren’t overly sweetened. YUM. Check out the Cannon Beach Tuesday Farmers Market for deliciousness. Here’s a note from Billie published 5÷17÷2012 in a local blog: From: Billie Schrum Subject: ANNOUNCEMENT: IT’S PIETIME Announcement: Only 4 more weeks until I’m baking pies like crazy for Manzanita’s Farmers Market. As most of you know, I closed my Nehalem Bay Pie Company doors Sept. of 2010 and moved my buisness back to my licensed kitchen at my home. You can still order pies from me, Billie the Pie Lady, by phoning 503−368−6885. I still have a «Pie of the Month» for $ 15.00 and this month it is my 3 Berry Pie. Attached is a list of my most popular pies. Live and Eat Pie Billie the Pie Lady

My friend and I were driving through Manzanita and saw the sign for Nehalem Bay Pie company. We stopped in and shared a mini chocolate cream pie and lattes. Oh! Grandma would be proud. This place looked and felt like Grandma’s kitchen and we plan to make this a routine indulgence on every visit. Delicious!

I found this business because they were out selling their pies at a farmers’ market… but they have a retail operation too. The pies looked delicious so I bought a marionberry pie and took it home – unbelievable. Fresh flavored, jammy filling, like grandma would have made for me from berries she made me pick that morning! And a flaky, rich, grandma-style crust I could not get enough of. Yummy! I voted with my waistline and during the next 10 days I was staying in the area, went back and bought a boysenberry pie, a mixed berry pie, a cherry pie(yea!) and two different jams. Burp. The owners will argue about which pie is their favorite if you get them started. Made me laugh! Loved this business. Go find their pies. What’s another inch around the waist? I bet your jeans will give a little…
