Supercuts

Haircuts are often shabby and uneven. Wait times never correlate with the app. Store management seems frazzled by the surges in demand. There is no point of checking in early.
While it’s conveniently close, I will never return. It’s unfortunate that Great Clips of Needham closed.

The woman who cut my hair was nice so that is why I am giving two stars, but my hair was completely uneven. I always get my hair cut straight across with an angle in the front at various supercuts, but the past few times I have gone to this franchise the quality has gotten worse and worse. This location happened to do the poorest job. I really appreciated the hairdressers friendly demeanor, but I do not know how the manager hired this individual. Maybe this is just an issue with a couple of the employees, or maybe this location is better suited for children, but I would steer clear of this place or pay a little extra to go elsewhere.

This supercuts made me start cutting my own hair — if that’s any indication of how bad their haircuts are. I used to dread having to go to this supercuts as they would always always always do a horrible job with a man’s haircut who doesn’t want a shaved head. Granted this was a few years ago, although I presume the quality has not improved since.

I noticed a bad review based on very old evidence. That prompted my writing this which I otherwise would not have bothered to submit. I have much more recently patronized this and other Supercuts so that my input may be well-​timed and useful to some.
A lot depends upon what stylist works with you, of course, and every location that I have visited does an excellent job honoring reservations, so that reserving with someone whose work you like could help a lot. If I visit at a time that I cannot use a stylist whose work I know, a majority of the time for me, and if I am still unhappy a day or two later, I have found that a quick ‘repair’, when one is feasible, is cheerfully provided at no additional cost. Also, every chain location that I have checked honors special rates and coupons so that there is little financial or cosmetic downside to requesting a very minor trim which can be extended when you can visit a stylist whose work you know. While the experience and skill of stylists varies, I have found them consistently professional acting and easy to deal with. The chain, and this location, would rarely be my absolute first choice, but it is a very viable alternative when you want a straightforward and acceptable experience.

Friendly, helpful staff. Cheapest hair stylist I’ve been to. Great if you just need something quick & simple.
