I’ve been to this location twice and it wasn’t too bad of a store. It’s just very small in comparison to other Valerios I’ve been to. The first time we went it was quite, the displays didn’t really have a wide variety, and there was only one worker that was in the back. She was quite, sweet and answered all my questions. The food looked as if it was sitting for a bit and looked like you needed to eat it right away because you couldn’t save it for the next day. The second visit was pretty much the same as the first visit, but with better looking food. The pan de sal was good and probably one of the only things I’d come in for. I just think this place is a bit small and loses out to all the other bake shops around the shopping area.

NEVERAGAIN!!! I walked in & had to say«hi» to both the workers! They just stared at me, my boyfriend & cousin as we walked in & I asked the lady nicely if they had Cheese Balls then she didn’t even reply to me, my boyfriend had pointed to a shelf in that tiny little bakery where he saw the sign & it was the last one on the rack so I got happy, UNTIL I saw what the cheese balls looked like, SODISAPPOINTING! I picked up the bag & see that they were all moist looking & squished, not fluffy like any cheese balls I’ve had. I kindly asked«are these fresh?» She replies«yes». I still second think if I should buy them but if she says they are then I’ll go on her word. I buy them, & she gives me this monotone attitude with the total: $ 6.00 I thank her after she gives me the cheese balls & bags it & I get no reply. BADCUSTOMERSERVICE, RUDEEMPLOYEES, BADQUALITYOFFOOD!!! I will NEVEREVER recommend going to this bullshitted bakery. I’ve seen better bakery with fresher quality of food. Don’t bother wasting your money here! Also, they had a sign that says«Our prices will raise effectively on July 1, 2014» for what? Your food doesn’t even look worthy for a price raise.

I live close to Valeros bake shop in mira mesa and I’ve heart that the in national city has better cheese balls. So i tried it and im sorry to say i was really disappointed. The cheese balls were so oily! It literally had rings of oil drips in the box. Sorry to say i haven’t had a cheese ball for over a year.

Love their hot fresh baked pan de sal! One of the best filipino bakeries around South San Diego. –They have a variety of other baked goods. Their cheese rolls, & cheese balls are so good too. –They only accept cash.
