I was looking for a place to purchase a whole lechon for my daughter’s birthday party and found this place on Unilocal.I decided to check the place out and tasting their lechon before placing an order as I’ve never been to their restaurant and tried their lechon. This place serves Filipino food kinda like a «panda express» style where the food is already prepared. Their lechon, eventhough it was under the heat lamp, was not hot. The taste could have been better. It was a little on the saltier side. I ended up not buying the lechon from there. Also, they do not accept credit cards for catering orders.

Our group just picked up our roasted pig. It is fantastic. I would recommend picking up a pig for your party.

My manager brought in some lechon kawali to our Valentine’s Day potluck and told me that she got it from here. It was fresh from the oven, so I couldn’t wait to eat it! The sauce that it came with is so good– it complements the pork very well. The skin was crispy and had a nice crunch, but the pork belly was more fatty than I’m used to.

I first ventured into this fast food spot because I was craving authentic Filipino food. DUH. Their items ready to order and eat don’t impress me one bit. It had to be because it’s near closing time that the food weren’t all that fresh, they’re looking dry really. Steam tables do that to food left too long on there. The pancit noodles were OK. My SD fam highly recommend their whole lechon which is a roasted pig. It’s great for parties and i’ll have you know now, you’ll have leftovers! Which is not a bad thing at all. Leftover lechon is typically used for a dish called Lechon Paksiw, cooked with vinegar, soy sauce, black pepper and sugar. That’s just the quick recipe. PORKY’s Lechon already has great flavor so you can’t go wrong. The dining area is mid size and doable. I didn’t stick around long but the lady was very welcoming.

Best porky lechon(roasted pig) n town. They need to have a strong AC. Overall good food and good service. The owners are super nice. They have a good chef ! I love this restaurant. Just simple.

Service was a bit slow. Lechon, which was the main reason for my visit, was crispy, juicy, and hit the spot. The accompanying dip sauce was the expected sweet and salty combo. Pancit and menudo tasted a bit too sweet and very greasy. Definitely do not come here if you’re try to diet or otherwise you are going to have some unwanted gainz.

i’d rate the food as just okay, it’ll pass if you’re hungry. in addition, i ordered a la paz batchoy and it came out with the soup full of bubbles and microbubbles, that’s the first time in my life i’ve seen such a batchoy. they probably just heated the broth and didn’t boil it. so i told them that i’m not eating that. the woman in the counter still tried to charge me for it though. they dont know how to take care of customers, it’s how the word gets passed around in a positive or a negative note. and how the customer base exponentially expands or die down. well it died on my end. recommendation: nah! go somewhere else.

I’ll give 5 on the lechon, I didn’t try any other items as I only craving for lechon. The sauce is perfect for it.

This place is a heart attack waiting to happen! However, I like their roasted(you are correct) pork, its crispy just how I like it. They have a variety of pork dishes, one or two chicken dishes, and fish. They used to make good lumpias too but lately it’s burnt, not sure if it’s the weather. I always come here for their curry chicken though, it’s decent. Also reasonable prices and the owners are friendly.

Negative minus 1 star. Laing has an uncooked, hard vegetable and salty. The lechon and lonnganisa are disappointments. The server is very confusing, that makes one to buy something you don’ t really want. I do not recommend this filipino restaurant.

Negative –10 stars. I never got my damn pig I ordered. I went in and put a deposit down for a whole pig to be delivered at 4 pm the following week. I was assured they would arrive on time, my party started at 430 and still no damn pig. I called and they kept giving me the run around how he was already on his way. Btw I live 10 mins door to door from this restaurant. Finally when I got a hold of the driver at 5:15 he told me he was looking for my house and named off some random streets that aren’t anywhere near my place, I should have listen to the other bad reviews from Unilocalers on this one. Thank Jesus I had plenty of other food or I would have had some hungry guest.

I ordered for a lechon at this store for my husbands welcome home party after an 8 month deployment. And I was very happy with the turn out. The lechon really taste good and the skin is very crispy and remains crispy till the next day. It’s exactly the same Cebu lechon back home. The lumpia was a hit as well and the Bacolod chicken inasal was a Bomb. My husbands friends love it.. Although the pancit was a bit saggy but it was ok. My overall experience with Porkys was a good one. I will definitely order lechon here on my next party.

**Review is for the Lechon only** First off, I would have given 5 stars if your website was accurate and you really did have the $ 199 special 50lb lechon with 100pcs lumpia. According to the young lady at the store, the website is not updated. She said the special actually ended in January and her brother-in-law needs to update the website to reflect the new prices. Hmmm, interesting since I emailed him a few days previously regarding the special and the special ending was never mentioned. Bait and switch? Maybe… Anyway, still cheaper than everywhere else. She broke down all the prices and I still went with the smaller pig(50−59lbs) at $ 230, at L&L its $ 260 for a much smaller pig at 30lbs. I also bought the 100pcs lumpia for $ 30. This is an all CASH transaction so bring the loot! I wish I had known that in advance because I had to look for an ATM. They do take CC but for smaller purchases. So I left my deposit and came back a week later to pick up my little piggy. I arrived later than my scheduled time… I had a feeling they were going to be late and I was right. It was fine since I had a bunch of other things going on before the party started. The lechon was super good, meat was juicy, and the skin was perfectly crispy. I have no complaints with the lechon and I will use them again for out next party.

Ordered a large lechon for a party, came on time and when it arrived it was a beautiful piece of work! All the guests were in awe of it’s appearance and everyone was lining up to eat! Skin was crispy, meat was juicy and it was a big hit! I got lots of inquiries as to where it cane from and of course I was happy to mention, Porky’s of course! Thanks so much!

I think the food chosen here can be hit or miss, but the lechon was ONPOINT! Very flavorful and I was loving the skin! I admit the palabok looked like it had been sitting out all day, so I was smart enough to skip it. The BBQ chicken was a tad dry. I would definitely return here for the lechon though. And unlike other Unilocalers, my lechon was not put on a scale!

I stopped in hoping to grab a quick lumpia but they were out, so instead I got a combo. The prices are not so standard, it depends what you order and it’s an extra dollar for the pancit instead of the rice. Also they weighed the roast pork, ½ pound. I paid $ 9 and some change for the two item combo. It was worth it I was able to split it into two meals. The pancit was pretty good, not remarkable but I liked it. The roast pork was lightly seasoned and«something» was missing, it needed more flavor. Also it was too fatty for my taste and I wish the skin was a bit more crispy. I had another dish that I can’t remember the name of, it was small slices of pork in a red sweet sauce. It was the best part! I would eat here again but I wouldn’t be heartbroken if I didn’t.

Came here after seeing a review on mmm-yoso. They had lechon, but sadley no Sisig. Got two combo plates, and two sodas for 17USD, and change. The portions are no where near Titas size, but the person behind the counter was friendly. Unfortunetly another employee was loafing and on his cell. The seating was clean and comfortable, and we were the only ones having a late lunch(1315 entry). My adobo(the real one(pork, not chicken)) came with a hard boiled egg, a first for me. The misses loved it, but I found it a little lacking but not bad. The palabok was OK, but there was only a faint hint of like kalamansi. The pork style beefsteak was very soy saucey and moist. Now it was dissapointing that no sisig was here, but had lechon. The lechon was nice and crunchy, but there was a waxiness that is usually a bit more toned down. Not bad, but could use improvement; for instance they can tone done the garlic flavor.
