If you have kids that need to entertain maybe this will be a good place but not for the food. This place is dirty, sticky floor, tables and seats. The cartoons section is always the most crowded, kids screaming and running Around. The other sections are less crowded. The food is bad, pizza is cold and bland. The salad is good but the dressings look watered down. Everything else is cold and half cooked. The kitchen it’s run by a bunch of 17 – 20 year old kids who are half playing the whole time. The only decent food are the desserts which are ice cream, cookies and pie. Would not come back. It’s about $ 14 per person better order some pizza and pasta from somewhere else waste of money and time

I stopped by today with my family and it was a great experience. This was our first time here and we loved it!!! My daughters wone a certificate for this place so that made it an excuse to check it out. The staff was great soo attentive and helpful the place was lonely so we enjoyed it even more! The dinning rooms are great we first sat in one with music good music by the way then we took the girls to play and came back for another bite and sat at the sports room. We got to watch the soccer game… I found the food to be good everything I ate I liked and I’m a picky eater. The staff would come and ask to remove plates and so respectful they were I was impressed. I was there today 6÷13÷16 @ 3:30 — 5:30 I had a good experience it is expensive but for all we ate it is well worth the price. My daughters loved the games and even rode some so did I. Love the toddler area my 18 month baby loved it!!! My husband took the day off and he was glad we came here we don’t get to have family time that often and today was great. 5 stars all the way

I was at 3.5 but leaned toward 4 stars because of the great friendly staff. I’ve been here a few times now, I can really say I really like it. The kiddies do as well. Pros. The buffet is very good & affordable. From salad to pasta & steamed veggies & soups & of course pizza, you can eat it all day & it’s good. They have different kinds of pizza my fav Chicken Bacon Ranch & the Pesto one. And don’t forget you’re baked potato. Staff, everytime I’ve been there they all have been friendly & fast. From the counter to the buffet & the game & prize area & there always cleaning. Games, there all pretty good they got kiddie games adult games & teenager games & rides! And a little playground for babies/toddlers. And the prizes you can get here are way better then Chucky Cheese. Size, it’s huge! First they got 2 big Birthday Party rooms. And they have 4 big rooms to eat & watch tv, of course they have a kiddie room playing cartoons but my fav is the Hall of Fame room, yes they play sports all day on the TV& they have a bar across from that room! Now that’s awesome! Dad’s & even part time dads think about it, give you’re kid a $ 20 game card order a pitcher of beer on a Sunday & watch football & eat pizza all day & buffet food(make sure you’re kids eat too). You can be father of the year to you’re kids & to you’re Baby Mama as you bring back the kids with smiles & you’re belly full of pizza & beer(use über if you get drunk) & remember the kids will be well fed too. And maybe baby mama will cut back on that child support. Good luck. Cons. Well the desert section ain’t that great it could use work. Sometimes you have trouble having the game cards to work, it’s frustrating. And not all the games work sometimes. And the mascot well he looks sad, maybe they should get a smiling happy Panda or a big Puppy or something. Overall more Pros then cons. I really like this place & it’s my to go place to save money & the kids to have fun & eat. And best believe you will see me here during football season.

This place was kind of a mad house. We went on Saturday night and expected it to be busy(Our first visit), but this was Disneyland-esque. We waited for an hour to get through the line. Parties in front of us continued adding people to their numbers the entire time we were in line and there are no staff members near the line. The food is okay. It’s a buffet so don’t expect cuisine. This was the least disappointing aspect of our visit to me. I do like the fact that you have to dine here to enter. It keeps it from becoming a hangout. That being said this place so was so crowded it was insane and the clientele was crazy on this particular night. We watched a number of guest try to take tables when people had left their ticket there to reserve it(which is what you’re supposed to do when you go get your food) and the staff wasn’t even sure what to do when the customers asked if they could move the ticket and sit there. We were constantly jostled when trying to get food or my wife was just flat our pushed by a woman in the bathroom trying to get her kid in a stall(bathrooms were also insane). The toon room is by far the craziest or all crazy in this place. If you do go, steer clear of this room at all cost, even if you have little ones. We paid about $ 55 with a $ 20 game card which includes one ride. Unfortunately there’s also a huge age issue here. Our daughter is 4. The small children’s play area is not appropriate for her age and after that there’s not much in her age range. The bumper cars and spinning ride are too big for her and that leaves one kiddie ride she wasn’t super interested in. So kids of her age have basically one ride choice. This place is basically Chuck E. Cheese on steroids. It was so busy it is hard to fault the staff for how messy it was. The girl putting out the pizzas was working so hard she couldn’t even set them up for people to get before they were gone and five more were coming from the kitchen. I went by four times and they were out of mashed potatoes, chicken, corn and at least 5 – 8 of the pizza things were empty all the time. The desert area was out of chocolate ice cream the whole time we were there and it goes on and on. I would only recommend this place if you have a party which has a reservation. Then you could avoid the line and apparently going on a Saturday night is the worst possible thing you could even imagine doing here.

Wow in line 40 mins just to get inside. Line wasn’t even that long. I guess because it takes 15 mins to ring up each group. Its a Saturday night I’ll give them that, but we came in at 8pm. I work as a cashier and I don’t get how it can take so long to ring up people for a kid’s buffet. The only way you’ll get me in here again is if I’m invited to a party and someone else is paying for it. Food is ok. They seem ridiculously under-staffed for a Saturday. Not worth the headache. I’d rather take the family to Peter Piper or Chuckie Cheese.

VERYVERYVERYVERYDIRTY-!!! HORRIBLEFOOD!!! STAFFWASVERYFRIENDLY!!! I’m shocked this place hasn’t been shut down by the health department. I was shocked at how NASTYDIRTY everything is. The bathroom had dry puke all on the floor and door area. It smelled like urine and poop. It was probably 97 degrees in the place. The food tasted like cardboard. I can only imagine how dirty it is in the back areas where the food is prepared if it’s as dirty as it is out where everyone can see. The food and drink area’s were seriously the grossest I have ever seen. There was ice cream all over the wall and it looked like it had been there for weeks. One would think that cleaning and sanitary would be #1 on the list of things to do when it comes to a place where children play. I can only imagine what the place would look like if you turned the lights off and put a black light to everything. It’s a shame too. Cuz there is a nice selection of games and rides. As well as alot of seating. I will never return and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I think the food here needs a little improvement. The pizza is a little hard on the crust. The dessert is not that great. The pasta is okay. The breadsticks are probably the only yummy thing. This place is only good to come and play games but if you look at how many tickets u need to win to just get something good it’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t come here I’d rather go to chuck e cheese where all the games are 1 token

Most disgusting restaurant I have ever been to. Short on food and the food they did have was cold and the pasta was dry. If hometown was still open I would rather go there. The manager needs to get fired.

The first time I went here they had all the pizzas out and it was great. I went there yesterday and it just wasn’t happening. There was a bunch of empty spaces where pizzas should be. They had about four to choose from. If I requested one, it would take 10 minutes, I’d go back and it wasn’t there. I don’t know if it ever came out because I got tired of checking. The kids had fun. I think that if you’re going to advertise all of these different pizzas, then have them out.

I took my niece and she liked it. Which is why I give it two stars. It’s great that you can play and eat and it’s more fun of a place to eat for kids than a regular pizza place. With that said. John’s incredible pizza left much to be desired when it came to pizza. In other words, it wasn’t that incredible. I do like that there were other options like salad and baked potatoes, but l, I have to say it tasted like cafeteria food. The bathrooms were super gross and had to try to find one clean enough to enter. I’m glad my niece had fun, it’s a great idea, they just need to up their game with the food and service.

This review is strictly for the buffet. I went there for lunch and it was pretty decent. Had a coupon for a free admission so i tested the food out. Pretty good quality for a buffet. They put stuff out pretty quickly and upon request and have a pretty good drink bar. The pizza is pretty good. Definitely better than cicis. Will go back for games eventually.

It’s incredible how people expect the food to be good, it’s a buffet and it’s $ 10.99. You get what you pay for. The buffet includes some unique pizzas, pasta, salad, soups, drinks, desserts. All that for ten bucks so complaints shouldn’t be allowed. The food may not be good but it’s not bad either. The sliver of cheese pizza that I had with my salad was actually pretty good. The fried chicken was okay too. Plus, they have endless slushies, coffee, and hot cocoa. It’s also incredible how crazy packed it gets, but, there are several rooms with plenty of seating and you can guarantee weekends will be hectic. It’s a great place for parties. The gaming area is huge and there are rides, like bumper cars and such. If you’re fun, you’ll have fun.

Ok place to take your kids. Came in here for dinner and play for my daughter and let me start off with the food, it was not yummy at all. Only the pizza was decent to me. From the bland pastas to the typical salad bar and ok desserts. I would say I would never ever come here for the buffet again and just grab something to eat before hand. Everything wasn’t seasoned and tasted like microwave food. I would have to say that I was not interested in the food here after eating my first place. Disappointed I spent a lot for my family to eat the buffet here. The chicken was dry and the pastas were cold even the soup was not warm. The pizzas were decent and fresh but I thought it was unappealing when I saw a bucket under the buffet area filled up with wasted pizza… I wonder why they didn’t toss it in the trash but had a bucket full of pizza? Looked unsanitary. Some pizzas were not available and was only available upon request. The games here were fun but I did not like that 50% of the games I played didn’t work or took my points without letting me play I had to go to the front desk area to ask to reimburse my points and they acted like I was lying and was trying to cheat the system… Thank goodness my husband ended up winning us 2000 tickets to make our money worth it. and the prizes here are ok. Compared to other arcade prizes I have been too. I would say others are better. Will I come back here?.. Probably not. But it was nice to try out a new place for my daughter she enjoyed it from winning a lava lamp. Very crowded as well so you have to sometimes wait for your turn to play a game.

Horrible food not sure why people praise this place so much. I would rather eat cicis and thats not good pizza either. The place is so hot you cant even enjoy yourself. I never been to a restaurant thats so hot inside. Never going back, chuck e cheese is better, they have better food and its not so freaking hot inside.

Worst pizza, salad bar, service I have ever had! This place is set up with games and all you can eat pizza and a complete joke! Toppings for pizzas and salad bar as cheap as they can get all imitation including the cheese! They cut the pizzas in 1 inch slices and half the pizza bar says we make on request! When you request a pizza not available they tell you it will take 45 min wtf? Please take my advice never ever try this place

Our party room host was disappointing. We booked this place for our daughter’s 8th birthday. We had 8 girls with us in the room … And our party host would disappear for long periods without telling us. She seemed reserved and timid … I had to jump in and run the party most of the time. Not sure why John’s decided that she would be a good pick for the PARTYHOST position. She was sure polite– but not party host material. We ended up running our own time line, serving the cake, and interacting the most with the kids. She wasn’t prepared at all, and the other half of the time — we could not find her. The only reason, I will give it 3 stars is that the kids still had fun. We let them go play and stay longer(after the booking of the party room) to use all their tokens — so each kid left happy after having played with the games and such. I would not recommend this place for younger kids’ parties — unless you have 1 adult per child … Lots of blind spots. Positive: the place was clean. I am not sure if we will have our party here next year or not. If we do, we learned some lessons. #1. Don’t rely on your party host there to know what they are doing or be organized. #2. Bring baggies or something for the kids to keep their paper tickets in. The hostess gave the kids paper tickets but they had no where to put them all — so until they all went to the munch ticket machine, they were carried in beverage cups.

We had a Groupon deal so it was totally worth it! The quality and variety of the food is good, even if it did keep us running to the bathroom. :/ Definitely recommend for kids, maybe not so much teenagers or younger adults, but I don’t think they’re aiming for them anyway. We had fun and all the employees were friendly

Ahhh this place is the best! There’s a salad buffet, potato & pasta buffet, pizza buffet, and dessert buffet! On top of that, there’s a HUGE arcade filled with soooo many cool games that also have RIDES. Yeah, rides.(I believe there’s 3. I saw 3, but there MIGHT be 4). There’s also cute little play areas for young toddlers as well! There’s something for everybody here of all ages! In the buffet area they have a great drink selection, even have slushies!(Blue rasp, white cherry, and coke. Coke wasn’t working when I came though). And there are a bunch of different rooms you can go to sit down and eat in that are themed differently. My biggest complaint is that they weren’t too stocked on the pizza. Almost every plate to get the pizza was«available upon request» so there wasn’t too much pizza out when I went unless you asked someone to make it for you, which yknow, it’d be nice if they just kept up with keeping it full because it was literally half empty lol. But it was no biggie, luckily for me and my friend, the ones we wanted to get were stocked and there. An idea of their pizza toppings: cheese, pepperoni, Alfredo, chicken fajita, Hawaiian, buffalo chicken, and more. MISC. FOODOPTIONSTHERE: Baked potatoes, Mac and cheese(which is great! Unfortunately they don’t have the mac&cheese pizza like CiCi’s but it’s okay), fried chicken, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, fettuccine Alfredo, chicken and broccoli, cheesecake, brownies, vanilla and chocolate ice cream, and more! I loved my visit here, and would LOVE to come again! I had a great time. This place is huge and there is something for everyone to enjoy :)

My boyfriend & I came here for a birthday party in Room 1 – 2. This is basically a huge Chuck E Cheese with a couple of rides(Bumper Cars too!) & a buffet. Buffet = Salad, Pasta, Pizza, Desserts, Beverages, & a Bar. Everything was good. For the pasta, the noodles & the sauce were separated so you can put as much or as little sauce as you wanted. The pizza was delicious. There is a wide variety to choose from ranging from the usual(Pepperoni & Sausage, Alfredo) to unusual ones(Peanut Butter, Nachos). Pizza is fresh & if you have a favorite that you do not see, you can request it. The desserts were okay. The ice cream machine says there are 3 flavors available but it was only set to Chocolate. The Chocolate Chip Cookies were burnt. There is a wide selection of drinks & I was excited to see that they had slushies. However, it was way too thick & frozen that you had to wait for it to melt to drink it. Party Room — Cutely decorated with 2 long tables. There are workers that stay in the room to make balloon animals for the children & coordinated games: Limbo, Musical Chairs, Simon Says(with a surprise at the end). When it came time to sing Happy Birthday, there was a bear that came out. In addition to the buffet, they serve food in the party room too.

RUN! I came here today with my niece and nephew, expecting to be blown away. The kids were telling me all these great things things… Pff! I was definitely disappointed. Where do I begin?! The food is just awful. I’ve had Digorno frozen pizza that tastes way better than this«pizza» they sell. Even Little Caesar’s can whip up a better pepperoni pizza than these guys, and at a relatively small cost. As for the deserts, I have nothing good to say. My niece complained about the brownies being hard, I told her to stop complaining. She then began banging the brownie on the table and it sounded like she was knocking on the table with a rock.(Yes, you read that right… a ROCK!) Easy Bake ovens can put out a better brownie, I’ve seen it happen… There’s loads of seating, loads of games as well. I had no actual interactions with any employees besides the girl at the register. Needless to say, I didn’t even receive a «Thank You» or «Enjoy» after paying… nor did I receive a reciept. Honestly, if you’re looking for a pizza place with games then drive to La Bellas. Yes it’s much smaller, but you’ll experience some great customer service and real pizza! Plus, there’s an arcade as well for the kids and pool tables for us adults :)

The food is awesome the salad bar., Ohhh man brackin!!! Reminds me of some souplantation shizz. The service is okay nothing to wow over. Although the black girl at the ticket changing section was A+(hope i don’t sound racist!) But the pizza is good the ice cream is good. I did have a pain in the ass scanning my stupid card though during games. The«doughnuts» were hard as f! I ended up spitting them out into my napkin blahh. But i had a good experience just wish all the games worked and weren’t stupid!!! Go on a weekday tho… so much better not as claustrophobic

Every time I go here gets worst and worst!!! Pasta super cold! Not a lot of salas bad options! And worst thing is the dessert bar! Nothing tastes good, not even the ice cream. All desserts are gross. I like the fettuccine with chicken pizza, the buffalo chicken pizza & the pepperoni pizza but thats it. And how pathetic is that they charge you drinks separate from the buffet! That’s just crazy

Oh, LORDY. We went to John’s with one other family for a fun evening celebrating my daughter’s 9th birthday. The place was packed(duh, it was a Sunday night) but we were prepared for that bit. It was a strange feeling being so angry and yet feeling kinda bad for the employees there. It was clear that they are grossly under staffed and in no way were able to handle that amount of people. It seemed from every side they were short on people. Zero cups for at least 20 minutes. Zero. Lines of people waiting for ONE pizza to come out at a time. Then some douche taking four slices. Pasta — but no pasta sauce. Dirty tables in the dining rooms. Deplorable bathroom conditions. I know its a kid place but that means someone should be checking the restrooms for puddles of pee on the floor more often then say NEVER. Kids had a lot of fun playing the wide range of games. A few choice games were out of order but I guess thats to be expected. And the games are really the only saving grace for John’s. I wish I could say we’d go back but I highly doubt it unless its for a party we’re invited to. And if we do it’ll be with hand sanitizer in my bag and not drinking any liquids so I don’t have to step foot in that nasty restroom.

I came here for my little cousin’s birthday party. They reserved one of the party rooms where they get to play games and cater to the little kids. The food is good here. It’s all you can eat salad, pizza, pasta, soup and dessert. They don’t make all the pizzas but if you wanted one of the specialty ones it’s «available upon request». I think they should just make them and not really have to request it. They have really good donuts in the dessert area but this time the donut machine was broken. The games are fun for the kids. They have a few rides there as well. The prices for the games are relatively cheap. Each game is about 2 – 3 credits to play and its about 100 credits for $ 20 I think. The entry prices for the buffet are really cheap too. You can come in for lunch and get a stamp to go into the mall and shop for a bit then come back in and eat for dinner! I’d recommend having a kids birthday party here over other places any day! There isn’t anything else out there that beats these prices for AYCE. I’ll most likely come back here again for another birthday party.

This Johns Incredible Pizza is located at Plaza Bonita in National City. The next closest one in Sam Diego is in Riverside. For regular admission, adult price is around $ 10 and kids under 13 is $ 5 – 7. Children under 2 are free. Admission includes buffet for the rest of the day. You can get a stamp to leave, shop around the mall, and come back inside to eat again. Food is pretty good considering it’s a buffet. There’s a salad bar and pasta bar with a decent selection. They have lots of pizza choices. They have«special» pizzas where you have to request them to make it if it’s not yet out. Dessert selection is ok. Last time i went, dessert included brownies, rice Krispy treats, and pizza. Usually they have donuts which are sooo good but the donut machine was broken. Game selection is good. Lots of games that give out tickets. They have games that are appealing to all ages. You get a Fun Card, put money into it, and swipe the card on the games. You get your tickets counted with the ticket eater and swipe your Fun Card and it logs your ticket count. It’s convenient to have it all on one card. Most games are around 2 credits. If you want to celebrate your kids birthday here, you can rent out a room for 2 hours and they entertain the kids with some games. My aunt said it’s about $ 16 per person which includes the buffet and a Fun Card with 60 credits. I think that’s a pretty good deal! You don’t have to worry about food or entertaining the kids. After the 2 hours, you can try to find seats outside the party rooms. They have a «hall of fame» room which has TVs and you can watch sports games. They do serve beer and wine. One thing I think they should do is check if the kids leave with the same adults they came in with. I know Chuck E Cheese does that. You never know what crazy stuff happens these days.

Gone here a few times and I’m actually a fan of their buffet. I like their salad bar… So many toppings to choose from and fresh and well maintained. Their pizza is actually pretty flavorful too. Try their cheese Alfredo pizza! There’s also pasta and different sauces to choose from… Their desserts are okay. The kids enjoyed it. There’s also a decent variety of games, seems most appropriate for grade school kids. There is a little play area for the little ones too. We had a birthday party here last year, I was told it was the biggest private party they’ve had with more than 100 guests and it took up most of the party rooms. The hosts handled the amt of people well and the kids had fun. Only comment about the party was, they didn’t hand out the cards(with credits and rides) to the kids until the very end. By that time, some of the older kids were growing impatient, and some of the younger ones were getting cranky. Aside from the private party rooms, there’s tons of tables in different party rooms with different themes(cute!) This place is pretty empty/not too crowded during the weekdays, a great time to go…(It filled up a lil more towards the afternoon) Our party was on a Sunday afternoon, and it was a little more crowded
