Mike’s NY Giant Pizza

This place has great pizza! I called a few minutes before closing and the guy was nice enough to still deliver! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! YOU SAVED THE NITE!

Hey everybody me and my family just moved out from the bronx we’ve seen a lot a places out here that say real NY style pizza and its all lies but this place is the real deal the staff is cool
and the pizza makes me feel like i’m back at home.

Best New York thin crust ive had in San Diego! And Im from NY! Slice was giant and just the right amount of sauce, toppings, cheese and dough! Great customer service, super polite and accommodating! Will be getting my pizza from here from now on!

I bought pizza here a few months ago for the first time, I haven’t gone anywhere else since then. I’ve had pizza from here probably 25 times since and never once had a bad one. It’s so delicious and their salads are great too.

The Pizza is AMAZING!!! The young woman taking orders is extremely friendly and sweet! I recommend this place… You will not be disappointed!

Great pizza! We had a meat lovers. I gotta know what the BBQ sauce was on the wings too. So good! Fast delivery and a friendly driver. Love this place and highly recommend.

I have been ordering from mikes for awhile now and I have to say that they have been amazing, now I’m not saying they have never gotten a order wrong but the few times that it’s been wrong all I have had to do is call them and they have always made it right and I’m not easy please cause I always have to have something well done or all fries or something and they never give me attitude or anything they’ve always been pleasant and helpful and the food is delicious. I had to right this cause I happened to read the reviews and I don’t think there are a fair representation of mikes staff or food and I also noticed the eat24 app came up a lot so maybe give them a nother try but give them a call I’m sure you will have a better experience

i used the eat24 app. my first time using it was excellent. the service was fast and the driver was friendly.(red car delivery guy)
this time it was 1 ½ hour wait. they gave me a quote of what time my order was going to get here. after waiting a hour i contacted eat24 that said that they called the store and they were going to be here shortly (yea 30 minutes after they contacted me.)
so driver gets here.
i ordered a pizza meal that comes with a 2l of pepsi and i ordered another 2l of cherry pepsi. they only gave me one bottle. i ordered chicken wings and for the sauce i said bbq. when he brought the food he had to go back to the store to bring the other soda i bought. while he was gone i was checking the food out. i opened the container of wings and was surprised when it was the buffalo sauce all on the wings. so right after i checked out the wings the driver just came back with the other bottle of soda. i showed him my app and what i ordered as far as the chicken wings and told him i can’t eat this. he asked me if i wanted to call the store or if he should. so i called the store explained what happened and that i ordered through the eat24 app and what was going to happen now. the person on the phone said i would have to contact the eat24 customer service and get a credit and i said how when i paid cash? i said the driver is still here i’ll just get the money back from him he asked his coworker if that’s ok. i didn’t need his permission. just tell me how much the item was so i can get my money back. no i don’t want a credit from the store for future purchases. the driver was nice i felt bad that he works at a place that doesn’t know what they are doing and wasting his gas going back and forth.
the guy that drives the red car is awesome (from the first delivery). sorry about my rant.

Good food. Good quality. Got my pizza and it was so hot and fresh. Was full of flavor. Great pizza for a big party.

I order pizza from Mike’s all the time for my students. They are very friendly when calling to place an order and deliver to the school with no problem and are always right on time with the deliveries. My students LOVE this pizza. I typically order two giant pizzas to feed 28 hungry elementary students if that’s all we are having. Although if you are providing sides as well, one pizza is usually enough!

Love, love, LOVE this place. The people there are so friendly and helpful. Their pizza is New York style (hence the name) and it is amazing! Don’t even get me started on the ranch. I usually ask for twn, yes TEN, sides of ranch. I would stick a straw in it and drink it if I could; it’s that delicious. They have great chicken wings in Buffalo and BBQ. I have tried them both and cannot decide which is my favorite, so I get them both. You must give this place a try. Once you do, this will be your go to pizza place!

Very, very UNHAPPY. Was craving pizza so I stopped here since I was nearby. I asked the cashier what was the better deal for what I wanted. Order a medium pizza and 14pc wings, Paid 40bucks but he didnt mention they had a promotion with a large pizza, 10pc wings, a salad and a 2lt soda for 23.99??? C’mon!!! I know ur trying to make business here but u just lost a good customer. Who unfortunately always reviews on Unilocal!
Food taste really good overall.

Be careful when you order from this place, yes the pizza is good but they keep your card information stored. My work ordered a pizza on Wednesday, it was my day off I wasn’t even there. And they charged it to my card!!! Because they had it stored. I called the manager back and he did little to help, telling me it was my fault because we didn’t pay cash! And asking me «well what do you want me to do about it?» When they ordered the pizza they told the cashier it was going to be cash, when the delivery guy arrived they handed him the cash and he said no we already charged it on the card. They stored my card info from when I treated them to lunch. And now I have to wait for my boss to go pay them cash so they can refund me my money! I never even signed the receipt giving my consent!

The buffalo wings are the biz so is the Greek salad… The pizza is close enough to NY style pizza.

The place was inviting to begging with. So I ordered a med pizza. The service was fast and efficient. I was not done paying for my pizza and the cook was already making it! So it was fresh and hot when I got it.
Definitely recommend this place, good pizza all around, flavor, texture and service.
Going for seconds.

I don’t know what was going on when I ordered my 2 slices from Mikes, maybe it was the heat because it was extremely hot inside the restaurant, but this was hands down the worst pizza I’ve ever had! I ordered one slice of cheese and another pepperoni thinking this would be a simple feat. Instead, (and I wished I had taken a photo but was too disgusted with my order to do so) received two slices with literally a few sprinkles of cheese and hardly any sauce. Basically two slices of baked dough with barely any cheese, one with pepperoni. That was my 1^st time visiting Mikes and it will be my last! They totally killed my craving for pizza! Just a huge disappointment.
