man this barber place is a place to go! I had a little bit to much hair as I had a slick back undercut and my last hair cut was a guy near this barber shop and he messed the back of my head up and he gave me a little alfalfa on the back of my head and I hated it. But when I went to this baber shop I told my baber named Leo who which by the way is actually a cool guy and I told him what haircut I wanted and he asked me questions about my hair and what he’s gonna do and after he was done I was extremely happy with the the way it turned out and I walked home with a smile on my face. Bottom line is that when ever you go to this barbershop to get a haircut ask for Leo.

Been looking for a barber for a while in the area, and it is the best place I’ve been to hands down. Great haircut, great attitude and great outcome. My fade is sharp and on point. My barber was Felix but it looks like all the other barbers knew what they were doing. Barber took his time and and made sure it looked good. I recommend it to anyone that need a fresh haircut. $ 14 for a fade.

I was referred to Barber House by a former co-worker, and was told to ask for Marciano. I parked on the street, but there was plenty of space. I walked in without an appointment, and I waited about a half hour. There was someone there before me, and someone else being finished up, so that was to be expected. When I sat down, the small talk was what it should be: small. Marciano asked me what I wanted done, and, shortly after, if I had been referred by anyone. After that, it was straight to business. I could tell the guy was experienced — nothing like these new-age butchers they have working at most other chop shops small enough to be disguised as «old school» barber shops. This guy is for real. The last cut I got that compared to this was 6 years ago, by a 60 year-old Italian gentleman who had obviously been in the business a while. The cut I got was precise, and on point. We made it to the point on our bald fade where most other barbers screw it up — the sides are clean, vertical, and well-faded to a crisp edge up top, where the messy finger length hair should be. I figured he might start that abhorrent lawnmower thing they do nowadays; you know, where they take the clippers and absolutely destroy that beautiful transition between the sides and top, making you look like a cone head. To my surprise, his touch stayed refined, and he didn’t mess with the transition at all; he actually went to the more precise blade to finish off the straggler hairs on the side. The last point of possible screw-up was upon us — the scissors. He asked me how I wanted it, to which I replied, «I like the shape we have going, so maybe just shape it up to finger length, and don’t touch the edges.» Can you tell I’ve been disappointed more than once? HETOOKMYADVICE! He didn’t chop off the edges wildly like you’ll see most other barbers do; he took about 30 seconds to trim the long ones, and we were finished. I looked normal again… for the first time in 6 years. Give Barber House a try. The price is right, and you’ll tip because you’re genuinely satisfied, not because you think you need to.
