The Body Shop

I went in to get more of my favorite perfume, Love etc. Just to find out they discontinued it :(But obviously I’m not going to hold this particular location responsible for that.
Once I saw they didn’t have my perfume i looked around and the lady was super helpful showing me her favorites. I ended up leaving and searching the rest of the mall for another perfume. After a half hour I came back and found one I really liked.
The real reason Im giving 5 stars is how they treated me when i came back. I felt like a real valued customer. They remembered me as soon as I came in and repeated thanked me for choosing them. Even though I only spent 16 dollars. Which is another bonus, great prices.
I hope Management reads this and takes note of the older woman of the two working on August 31^st around 530pm.

I heart the Body Shop. Quality products at a fair price! They have tons of sales, and I always grab their $ 10 for $ 20 Groupon/​Living Social Deals. In fact, I don’t think I’ve bought ANY of their products without them being somehow discounted.
I had a great experience at this store. I was helped by a manager visiting from another local Body Shop store (Cambridge?), and she was helpful and knowledgeable. She was a little pushy, but I understand she is in the business of selling products and that’s part of the territory.
While helping me, she suggested I sign up for the Love Your Body membership, and I am so glad I did! Having this membership has made me a die-​hard fan of this store. I don’t live close to a Body Shop, and having free shipping on any Body Shop order has made my life a ton easier. This is also dangerous, because I’m buying way too many of their products!
***One thing: some Body Shop products aren’t as earth-​friendly or soothing as they claim. I ALWAYS check out reviews online before I buy their products. I also check cosmetic ingredient databases online, like EWG, to see how different Body Shop products fare. If you have sensitive skin, their Aloe Line is a safe bet, and I would avoid their Vitamin C line. Their Vitamin C SPF day cream makes my skin burn and turn red!
As a sensitive skin, curly girl with fine hair, I use the following products:

Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter

These products are fantastic and make wonderful gifts. I am currently in love with the Moringa Body Butter and the Hemp Hand Cream. This body butter smells AMAZING and will keep your skin smooth for a long time. It can get a bit greasy if you use too much at once, so proceed with caution. And the hemp cream might not smell the best, but it works phenomenally! This location is quite small and might not have a full selection of products, but it is well kept and the sales associates are really helpful.

+++++ Unbelievable hand cream — Hemp Hand Protector — Very Dry Skin
At first you may not like the smell but to me it is the smell of blissful relief.
I’ve been using this hand cream for years and now have my daughters hooked on it too. It has become a night time ritual for them to get a warm hand massage.
They excitedly wait for me to bring the magic tube. Made with Hemp seed oil and beeswax this thick base works wonders on their little dry hands.
It is a bit greasy at first so we try not to do anything or touch anything once we’ve put it on. I guess that is how it became part of our quiet night time ritual.
Who wouldn’t enjoy having a massage? We let it do the work and soak in deep while we sleep.
My hands use to look cracked and would sometimes bleed. I tried all different types of ointments, lotions, body butters from a variety of places and none of them really worked.
One tube of 3.3 oz is $ 18.50 and you may think this is expensive but a little goes a long long way. I’ve had one tube for 2 winters and it is well worth the money.
They just had a holiday sale so I got two tubes free. My little 1 year old nephew has very bad skin so I am hoping this will help soothe is red chafed chunky legs.
They also have Hemp body cream, chap stick and balm. I haven’t tried these others since the crème works so great.
They have amazing Peppermint foot scrubs, soaks, and cremes too!
This store is in the mall and I haven’t found the service to be overwhelming but I also know what I want and buzz in and out.
5 Stars for the products but given the location I’ll go with 4 just because going in and out of the mall off route 9 can be a buzz kill.

I love the Body Shop, but this store has horrible service. I have been going to the Body Shop for years and have become accustomed to the friendly service it usually offers. I found it odd that I was never greeted and in fact, ignored. I actually stayed in the store longer just to see if anyone would come up to me and ask me if I needed help. When I looked around appearing as if I needed help, I was ignored by three snooty girls. There was one couple in the store and they seemed to have gotten service — in fact, all three girls were at the register ringing them up while I was still waiting for someone to answer my questions. I didn’t know it takes 3 people to ring up one transaction. I got fed up and opted to head to the Burlington Mall the next day where they were happy to help me. The only reason this review is getting 2 stars is because the Body Shop has great products — love the Body Butter.
