New England Mattress & Futon

I got quick service, excellent price, and a quality futon frame and mattress. Joe was really knowledgeable and helped me choose the right frame and mattress for my college age student, while still keeping the price reasonable. And she’ll be able to use it as an extra bed when she gets her own apartment after college too:) I highly recommend New England Mattress and Futon for all your sleep needs.

I bought a platform bed with a comfortable mattress and a lovely metallic futon from here. Though they have limited options to choose from, the prices here are pretty reasonable and the quality of furniture is really good. If you pay a decent fee, they even deliver stuff at your house and fix it. I love the furniture I bought from here and would recommend everyone to visit the store. JOE, you rock!

I spoke to the owner about the different mattress types and frames. I was the only customer in the store. He seemed quick to want me to commit to a purchase after being there for 5 or 10 minutes. I continued to look at various models and think about the best option for my needs. I was very interested, but wanted to do some measuring at home to decide between a Queen and Full, and to go over final details with my husband.
I thanked him for his help and asked him if he would please write down the price of the combination I was interested in (frame/​mattress) and the size. He immediately got an attitude and told me to look it up myself on the Internet! HUH?
I told him I drove all the way down to his store, and would he kindly give me the price himself. He said (with an even bigger attitude), «Are you ready to buy RIGHT NOW?». I told him no, but… «Well then look it up on the Internet!» he interrupted me before I could finish and started to walk away!
I can’t BELIEVE he was the owner, and even bragged that it was a «family-​owned business». This guy has a LOT to learn about basic customer service.
You just lost a sale, dude!

We have bought several Mattresses and two futons from Joe and Charlie over the last Fifteen years. They are knowledgable and honest. I just bought a second king set the price was great. They even have a man who will take my old set to be recycled, it is an extra fee but I would pay the same amount for the town to trash it.
