Nic came out this week to clean and inspect my chimney. He arrived on time, great personality and ready to work. He was very thorough and neat. Answered all my questions that I threw at him. I appreciated the fact that he cleaned up as he went along. I had a lot of soot taken out and Nic kept it all neat. I would highly recommend Nic and Master Chimney!

Prior to purchasing our house, the previous owner had a liner installed in our chimney. When Master’s called her the following year to do a cleaning she gave them our phone numbers as we are the new owners. I told them I was not interested at the time. They have proceeded to call me non-stop(sometimes every other month) for THREE years pestering me. They’ve tried many different tactics to book an appointment: telling us we had one scheduled previously and they were looking to update the appointment, calling the old owner and telling her that they had«business» with us that they needed to contact us for, hanging up with me and calling my husband immediately after. I could go on and on. Several months ago I received a call from a very rude sales woman and that put me over the edge. I thought I had made myself clear finally, but just now I received ANOTHER phone call! I can’t even count the number of times I’ve asked for them to stop calling. BEWARE!!!

Left a message Monday with 2 phone numbers for them to contact me regarding a problem with my chimney. It’s Thursday afternoon and no call yet. I called another company in.

Bobby came out today to inspect our whole chimney & cleanout the flue on the boiler. He was prompt, courteous, and offered some good«how-to’s» for using the fireplace in our new house. I really appreciated that he didn’t try to pressure me on anything, we have a minor issue that can be likely be solved either by keeping our fireplace glass doors closed when not in use, or by installing a new $ 600 chimney cap/damper type thing. Seeing as we haven’t been in the house long, he suggested we just keep an eye on everything, and only opt for the damper replacement if it seems necessary. CSIA certified(you want this!), and covering a large service area, I’d definitely recommend Master Chimney Sweepers!
