STAYAWAY from Sehgal Eye Associates! They are so bad. The Dr. didn’t know anything. She was so so rude. I had the worst experience. Dr. Patel was so incompetent. The front desk woman was super rude. She did not know how to process my insurance. She did not know how to order contact lens. The first time they forgot to order my lenses and they called me in to try them! The second time she ordered wrong prescription. Third time she ordered only 6, when I had already paid for 12. To top things up, she was super rude to me and my husband. That front desk woman was always arrogant. REALLYREALLYBADCUSTOMERSERVICE. I would never recommend that service to anyone!

Person gave me a tray, told me to look at each tag and told me in so many words don’t bother them and go figure things out on my own. If you have insurance like me and your don’t get a discount, don’t bother with this place. We bought couple of pairs year ago and they were awesome. Now, this place has turned into a fast food joint who doesn’t care about customers.

I went here for an eye exam since Pearle closed. I found this to be convenient and met my needs. The location has a very friendly and knowledgable staff when it comes to their products. They were also exceptionally friendly. I was able to get my prescription within 90 minutes. This easily beats the week I had to wait for Pearle for my first pair. My lone gripe is the selection and variety of mens frames is poor. They seem to only have 4 brands. The mens section is this tiny corner of the store, barely larger then the kids section. Compared to the womens section that takes up a whole 20 foot wall, it’s clear that there is room for improvement when it comes to their stock.

I have gone to this LC location for the last several years, because it is extremely close to my work. My yearly exams have always been quick but thorough, and I’ve always had really friendly service, especially from the doctors. I started wearing contacts again about 4 years ago, and I haven’t had any issues with them. I really like the selection of styles and brands they have for women’s frames. I love the high-end brands, just because I mostly wear glasses everyday, so I need something that is going to last and look stylish. Last time I got new frames, the ones I wanted were on clearance(bonus!) but they didn’t have any at the Framingham location. The staff called around and got me one from another location at the same price. I’ve always had lots of fun picking out new frames with the staff here. Whenever I need my glasses adjusted(I am rough on a pair of glasses), I can just walk in and they do it right away, and I usually get some freebies(cleaners, case, etc). The last time I was there, I got excellent customer service from Curtis, so I hope to see him again next time I need new frames.

Horrible customer service! Took three weeks to get a refund that was supposed to be done immediately, and«glasses in about an hour» try glasses in about 6 weeks! Won’t go back!

First of all the girl working at the desk definitely could have been a bit nicer and at least pretended to have somewhat enjoyed greeting incoming patients. I understand customer service may not be everyone’s forte, but fake it til you make it sweetheart. I was fitted for my contacts which were so-so, I was a bit skeptical because they caused my eyes to hurt a bit(I was given a pair of 2 week contacts to try before ordering more). They were okay, but part of me wanted to go to another doctor to make sure I had the correct prescription. I didn’t really love it there but its close and convenient so I may or may not return, we’ll see.

I went to Lenscrafters(Sehgal Eye Associates) early 2010. Over one year later, I received a bill in the mail for $ 264.00. When I finally got a hold of «Misty»(who had by this time sent a series of 3 letters in quick succession) she said that my insurance had cut me a check(?) and thus I owed them the $ 264, plus another $ 25 as a late fee. Ummmm…it took you over a year to give me a heads up on this and that heads up was in the form of a BILL? I’d rather go elsewhere and know what I am getting into before a year elapses.

I found myself at the Collection this past weekend and in desperate need of a glasses adjustment. Sometimes they just feel funny! I walked in to find the funny woman I always see there(should have gotten her name off her name tag… woops), who helps me right away. I explain what I need, she listens, helps right away, and sends me on my way. I made sure to tell her she always helps me very well, and I appreciate it. Getting glasses is a once every few years crappy necessity, but I’ll make the longer trek out to Natick to give this or the Route 9 store my business– they’re the most consistent locations I’ve found.
