I went to this Game Stop and purchased the following items: PS2 Controller Guitar Hero 2(disk only) Tetris Worlds Singstar For Singstar, I asked the employee there whether the Rock Band mic would work for Singstar, which he assured me it would. He was wrong. Singstar has it’s own proprietary microphone that comes with an adapter. So 0⁄1 for this Gamestop. The PS2 controller was broken; the joysticks and directional pad did not respond. 0⁄2. The Guitar Hero 2 disk works at first, but whenever I started into a song, it would freeze. I tried on multiple songs, every single one would freeze right before the song began. 0⁄3. Tetris Worlds worked! Unfortunately, I only wanted to play this so my gf and I could compete against one another, which would require the PS2 controller to work. Still though, the Tetris Worlds worked so ¼. All in all, I probably won’t buy things from this Game Stop anymore.

I am a regular at other Gamestops, but i feel the staff at this store ignores customers and has no idea about customer service period

I pretty much try to avoid gamestops. Lately they just seem to badger customers into preordering things. Its fine for buying used, but when I buy new, it’s from amazon because of all the hassle and to avoid taxes.

I took my son to pick out some gear and games for his b-day, and I asked the man who was working(Jordan) there about the Wii, anyways he turned around and VERYRUDE responded Im busy hold on. He was the meanest and rudest person I have delt with in Gamestop. He just looked like he was miserable at work, like he hated being there! Im never going back!

I know, a a Gamestop is a Gamestop. But I like this one! It feels like a neighborhood shop, not a cookie cutter mall store. Even though it is, I guess. Yeah, the games are the same prices and selection that you’ll find at other Gamestops, but the staff here makes the place. Yes, they’re gamer guys. But they’re so nice, and it’s adorable to watch them talk technology with one another. «I can’t believe Sean got Gods of Gobledeegook before me, it’s sacrilege! He doesn’t even have the 693xi processor!» Priceless. The guys who work there seem to hang out there on their off hours too, playing games and chatting with each other and playing the«test» consoles in the store. It’s kind of like a teen center, but the kids run the place too! And they don’t judge me(not to my face at least) for being 10 years older than them and buying silly games for my outdated PS2. It’s my new go-to place for video games, definitely.
