It was fun until the bartender started throwing racial slurs. We will not be back.

I had fun. My boyfriend thought it to be a frat bar. But I meet some awesome people there. Service was friendly. I would go back.

Worst bar in Nashville hands down. Don’t go there. They say they can get nfl but actually only network TV.

I’ve been to the Tin Roof in Charlotte, NC many times, so it was kinda fun to go to the actual Tin Roof — as I imagine this was the original. It looked identical to the one in NC. It was fun, good music, dancing, busy yet still places to sit down and converse. I’d come back for sure.

This place is amazing! We went here for apps and drinks and everything we had was amazing. We had the loaded nachos which I highly suggest if you are going. We also had the fried pickles which were very good! We had some sort of quesadilla that everyone liked. And I can not remember what it was called, but there were corn pancakes with chile on them that were very tasty!

It was my first night after officially moving to Nashville and I figured I would try a bar nearby. It’s a dependable local bar. Bartenders are chill and helpful. Prices are good. with great hh deals from 2−7pm! I love whiskey and one of the bartenders recommended a new whiskey to me called Angel’s Envy. 4 stars just for that. Happy that this bar is literally across the street from me.

Awful. Ignored by bartenders for a good ten minutes. Then failed to check I.D.‘s. First and last time we’ll be in. Nothing more left to say about this place.

This is by far a must stop for dining while in Nashville. It has a friendly casual atmosphere and the servers always seem to care about you. Our personal favorite is the bbq chicken tender sandwich. The fries are hot and crispy and come with a wonderful queso dip. Great place to relax and have a great meal!

The ultimate blended three star review(five stars once, one star once). Came in on back to back nights. First night the DJ and live bands were both great and had the whole place dancing and in a great mood(five stars). The very next night the DJ was just awful. Playing such terrible music literally no one was dancing and just standing around hoping he would play something decent. This went on for over 2 hours. Bands were better, but just ok that night.

Had Donatello’s Toast for brunch and was extremely surprised at how good it was. The atmosphere of this place was phenomenal. Extremely unique, free arcade games and board games while waiting. Very unique and food was delicious.

Really enjoyed this bar. Bartenders are attentive and fast and make a great drink. Band was awesome and the atmosphere was great, my entire group had a really great time. Those who wanted to dance could dance and those that wanted to chill had room to do so. I also loved that the band didn’t just play country music like every other bar on Broadway. Great bar, I will go back when I’m back in town.

This place is rad. I usually come here once a year just because I’m from out of state. I love the down to earth, Nashville feel. I usually never remember leaving this place! You’ll also catch some of today’s biggest country music singers or musicians in there. Awesome place!

Pretty cool place to grab a bite and some beers and listen to live music or watch sports! Vegetarians, they have some options for us: cheese dip, cheese fries, jalapeño poppers, salsa, guac, three different kinds of quesadillas(and you could probably vegetarian-ize any of the pizzadillas), three sandwiches(pb&b, grilled cheese, and a veggie sandwich), and salads! Happy hour is Monday — Saturday, 2 – 7, with some pretty good deals!

The food was exceptional! I got a chicken and avocado sandwich with fries(probably some of the best I have ever had). The sandwich was large enough to take some for later. My only complaint is that I went during the lunch hour and sat outside. It was not very busy, and the waitress was not very attentive despite the meager crowd. The food was delicious if you’re looking for a nice light lunch though!

Typical college bar — I didn’t think it was anything special. Came here with a large group for dinner and beers. Food was okay, nothing to write home about. There was a band playing in the background that was pretty terrible so it was somewhat annoying to have to listen to that while eating. Probably won’t come here again unless I’m completely inebriated.

Worst place to go for Sunday Football. Not only is the service very poor, this locations«Green Room» was the only area open, and the staff was unwilling to change any of the channels to display different games. The fact that only the Green Room was open was not explained to any of the guests, which had many of them leaving upon arriving. No sign was placed on the entrance to Tin Roof so over 30 different groups tried to open the locked door and left while I was in the facility. In regards to the games on the TV and not willing to change channels. It is understandable if that is an established rule but about 10 minutes after we arrived, a different person asked to change a game to another and her request was granted. Needless to say, I was not impressed. I would recommend going to Tin Roof in Lexington/Cincinnati/Louisville before Nashville.

***Tin Roof is an okay casual bar and grill for nearby residents or workers, but there is much better food elsewhere in Nashville that is more reflective of the local cuisine and ingredients*** Tin Roof looks like a garage from the outside with all of the aluminum/metal(lots of aluminum/metal on the inside too), but it is actually a spacious dining establishment for casual food(sandwiches, wraps, pizzas, and quesadillas) and live music. The restaurant has kind of a kitschy feel with all kinds of retro decoration on the walls(not sure if the decoration is authentic or not). There is even a Breathalyzer on the wall. At lunch, Tin Roof draws a young, hip and casual downtown Nashville crowd. As mentioned, the restaurant features casual food. It is American bar and grill food with mostly bar and grill ingredients integrated with each plate of food(even quesadillas and pizzas). Tin Roof appears to specialize in sandwiches and they have a great variety of them including standard, found-everywhere sandwiches like an Italian sub and a turkey club as well as more hard to find items like a Reuben made with turkey. All of their sandwiches can be made into wraps so I took their buffalo chicken tenders sandwich and turned it into a wrap. The kitchen tosses chicken tenders in your choice of sauce and I opted for the traditional buffalo style hot sauce. I had them remove the cheese and add lettuce. The wrap was good. It did not feel full enough though. I would have preferred a tighter wrap with not necessarily more chicken but more crisp and cool shredded lettuce to provide a satisfying contrast to the hot sauce chicken. Still, the lettuce was fresh and the tortilla was not dry or stale. I thought the chicken tenders were nicely prepared. The batter had a great crunch and was not too heavy. The chicken itself was moist. The hot sauce was nothing particularly unique, but it was satisfying enough if you like this type of heat. They generously applied the hot sauce so it was a hot sandwich. Ranch sauce was provided on the side for dipping. I would have preferred a blue cheese sauce, which I think would have been a more satisfying compliment to the chicken. Sandwiches come with fries, but they are the crinkle cut, Ore-Ida style fries so I had them substituted for tortilla chips and salsa(the menu indicated that their chips and salsa are made fresh everyday). Unfortunately, I found the chips and salsa to be disappointing. The salsa did not have much heat or spiciness and while the chips were thin, they had kind of a stale crunch(it might just have been from how the chips were fried). Service was very pleasant and the food came out quickly. Unfortunately, servers were hard to track down at times – understandable perhaps given the size of the restaurant and the huge plastic cups used for water, soft drinks and such. Prices are reasonable though it is not a significant amount of food served at lunch. Tin Roof is a decent and quick lunch spot and a good option for people who work or live in the area. If you are visiting Nashville though, you might want to seek out other options because there is much better and more local food elsewhere in Nashville. I believe free street parking is available. I do not know if Tin Roof has its own parking lot.

This was my favorite bar when I lived here a few years ago, and I was super excited to come back while in town for the weekend, but was kinda let down. Maybe because I felt way older than the rest of the crowd? Or maybe because the drinks we ordered were disappointing? Not sure, but it just wasn’t the same. Maybe it was just an off night. The band was awesome though. And it was never too crowded to dance or wait for drinks. I would go back for the band, but next time I will know not to hype it up as «the best bar ever» to my friends.
